Had the most fantastic breakfast for my Birthday! The "Haymaker Benedict" was amazing and we also had the "Pulled Pork Skillet" which was also super delicious! And too, the food came out really quick! Also, big portions & very reasonable prices. They did a great job with social distancing & are keeping the tables spaced apart. The best part of all, was the amazing service we received from our waitress Miranda. She was super sweet & personable. Highly recommended! read more

I'm enjoying lunch here now. I had a very tasty Pastrami sandwich and my wife had the burger and fries. They ran out of onion rings, but hey, that's life during COVID-19. Just happy they are here and serving good hearty fare! We will come back. read more

Pretty solid. The teamwork between the staff really stood out to me. We had our waitress and two others check on us during our breakfast. I had the stuffed french toast with eggs and sausage, while my other had the chicken fried steak and eggs. I was told they never had to use a knife to cut their steak, and that's pretty telling. The gravy on top was tasty too, and the potatoes were nice and crispy. My french toast was wonderful. Nice and full, and the filling had real orange zest in it. Usually you get stuff from a can or something, but you could tell this was made in house. My only complaint is that my eggs were a bit overcooked, but that didn't really bother me. It's still a new place, I chalk it up to growing pains. Speaking of the location, one huge improvement is that they've opened up another side of the parking lot to allow for more room. I never got why the Dillon's that was here before didn't do something like that, because they were always packed, but the parking lot was also always choked and hard to navigate through. It's now so much easier to find a spot and not have to worry about hitting someone on your way in or out. I saw three more things from their breakfast menu alone that I would love to try, so I'll definitely be back! read more

Just left there they wouldn't accommodate my size they wanted me in a booth. Booths are to small. When there was a table just 4-5 feet away. In fact there serval were other open tables as well they could have seated us. There excuse was they had no waiters for those tables next to the booth. So that means they could not walk 4 feet. So they must not wanted my business and left. read more

It was good meal. Nothing to really brag about, but good. The service was ok. I would recommend people try it. This is my own opinion & can't go by just my opinion. Enjoy read more

I picked this place over biscuits. Big mistake. They don't serve steak and eggs :( and country fried steak and eggs did not look appealing from across the table but I tried it anyway- the gravy was thick and room temperature. Our waitress and the staff were super nice, and the French toast was ok. Overall, there's more things I don't like about it than things I do like about haymakers so it's a miss for me. read more

I loved the feel of this restaurant Very homey. The service was great and the food was very good and the price was very reasonable. I love the decor our American flag With the Pledge of Allegiance written over it I just loved it. read more

Stopped in for breakfast. I'm impressed. So impressed I'm writing this review at the table as I eat. So I looked over the menu and went with the Haymaker Benedict. It's says take it the way we make it under the description and no subs. They are absolutely right! Take it how it comes it is delicious. Definitely something unique and different. Starts with mashed potatoes which are red potatoes and someone definitely put effort into there cooked perfection, then cooked perfectly spinach. Tomato, cheese, bacon, hand breaded and cooked to order. And you can tell chicken breast seasoned beautifully super moist and tender cooked just how a chicken breast should be. Scrambled eggs and topped with a chipotle cream sauce! All I can say it this is something I've never really seen or eaten and it is amazing! So good so much flavor! They have all the other things you would want on the menu for breakfast. The waitress when asked about the Benedict knew exactly how to pitch it to me and she def sold me on it right out the gate. She knew her menu that's for sure so big props there. read more

Haymaker - The Haymaker Benedict - Burgers Near Me - Peoria, Arizona

This used to be our weekly stop for breakfast. That ended today. There's been a pretty steady decline in the food over the past few months, with a few visits where the food was great (as one would expect) mixed in. It's been hit or miss on service; there's 3 servers that seem to actually know what they're doing and the rest seem to cycle in and out at a steady enough rate that you rarely see them more than 3 times if you visit weekly. Today we were seated immediately by the hostess (who was great, by the way - more on that to come), and then waited in excess of 10 minutes to be approached by our server. We ordered our drinks and a starter, thinking we could get that and then order our actual meals. Would you believe we actually got our starter before our drinks? And this wasn't alcohol... I'm talking 2 sodas. A different server (one of the seasoned ones) brought the starter and the aforementioned hostess ended up bringing our drinks saying that our server would be right back with us. Again we waited to be approached to complete our order... even after our server came to other tables around us. It started to feel like we were invisible. About 15 minutes passed before we finally did put in our order... and then we waited some more. Now, I get it... lunch rushes happen. But this wasn't where the story ended. Our server comes back out 10 minutes later and stated they're (the kitchen) out of an integral part of my meal. I make a substitution and the server updates the kitchen. 10 more minutes go by, we have finished our starter and are irritated at this point, our food arrives. Both plates are wrong (not fixable, but wholly wrong - one of which the server should have seen at the point of picking up the plate). They both get sent back. We sat for another 30 minutes waiting for our new meals to no avail. Our server all but disappeared. A manager was spoken to who essentially said it was not the server's fault, it was the kitchen's fault. She didn't want to hear the entire story and was incredibly dismissive and acted annoyed that a complaint was being made (almost like it ruined her day), not even a hint of an apology was offered. Had an "I'm sorry" been uttered, this review likely would not be here today. After she stated that our order was "on her" we left. Legend has it our meals are still being replaced. You may spot them if you wait long enough. read more

We love this restaurant! Good food. Good drinks. Pleasant decor. Clean. Good service. Good prices. We've never had a bad meal there. The BBQ is delicious! The burgers are, too. read more

Entering, we were greeted by the hostess and promptly seated. Our server was polite and and attentive throughout our meal. I ordered fish and chips and my sweetheart ordered chicken planks. She was impressed by how much fish I received. I tried one of her pieces of chicken. It was crunchy. We had 3 sauces. My sweetheart enjoyed my tarter sauce. I had gone to the bathroom and noticed how clean it smelled and looked. The only drawback was that the food tasted a little off. I am assuming it was the oil. Consequently we both were sick after the meal. read more

Excellent! Best tasting biscuits and gravy. Moist biscuits. Country Fried steak was excellent! My only complaint was the coffee but I am a coffee snob. Portion size was more than enough. read more

First time here and we'll definitely be back! The breakfast was nice and warm, only bad thing was the French toast I don't think was dipped all the way, the first two pieces were perfect but the other two were like toast... we'll definitely be back to try out lunch. read more

This place is a ripoff!! They charge you $50 to use an room that's empty since it's on a weekday at lunchtime. Then they charge you an additional 20% automatic tip. Then you have to order at least $16 worth of food per person. Absolutely horrible place and the brisket was dry. read more

Pros- fair prices, good table service, decent coffee, attentive manager Cons- argumentative hostess(you should sit in the bar) cheap condiments (syrup tasted off). Most likely won't return. Damn shame we need a solid breakfast place. read more

Good food, would definitely recommend. Food tasted amazing and we will be back. Thumbs up!

This restaurant has great food and great service. I've been here multiple times and never been disappointed.

Save your money and go somewhere else! If I could give this place a zero I would. We had a group of 7 people, 2 people ordered a beer and we put in a couple app orders as well as our food orders. When we asked about the 2 beers, they looked at my friend (who is African American) and said we cannot serve you guys, he is too drunk. When we talked to the manager she could not tell us the way he was too drunk, but instead tried to shut down the conversation.I WILL NEVER support a business who treats people like this. The couple next to us even stated we got the short end of the stick and didn't understand. I threw my food away, this was my first time there and last. read more

Service was excellent. Husband got the brisket skillet and said it was alright. Too much bbq sauce (so maybe ask for it in the side so you can control the amount if you order this). He also said it had an artificial smoke flavor that was very strong in a few bites. I got the breakfast sandwich with egg whites. Something was very off about the egg. I even had him take a bite so that I could make sure it wasn't just me. I'm not the type to send my food back unless it's made wrong so I ate half and threw the other half away. I'd probably come back but try something else next time. read more

Awful never again! Ordered take out. No.beans no.mac and cheese no bread no salad dressing for the wedge salad no BBQ sauce. The chicken was so dry that it disengaged on the plate! Inedible. The fish was soggy from the 3inch thick breading that was on it that you couldn't tear into with a fork. The fried pickles were quarter of a dill pickle with with 3inches of breading and tasteless. This was the worst meal I have ever had. Will not be back and will not recommend. Maybe their bar is the best for whiskey. read more

Always good and reliable for a meal. Nothing special though should change up the menu!!

Mixed reviews. I enjoyed my meal meal, but my husband had the fish.. He would not recommend it.. It not only looked greasy and slimy, but also tasted greasy and slimy. The French fries were good. The restaurant itself was clean and pleasant. Service was also good. read more

I've been wanting to try out the food here. Took my friend there today. We were greeted nicely and were seated at a booth. I ordered lemonade my friend iced tea. My meal was the patty melt with sweet potato fries. The fries were horrible. Soft and warm, not crunchy and hot. The bread was supposed to be sourdough, I don't know what it was.It was white in color. Perhaps Solent Green. My friend ordered a wedge salad, which by the way is a half a head of ice burg lettuce with bacon topping. A very expensive "wedge". She seemed to like the chicken wings, but to me they could have been cooked a little longer. Becca our server, was not the best at doing her job. I had to ask for water, she didn't bother to ask if my friend wanted any. Brought the one glass of water. No refills on tea or lemonade. No extra napkins. But quick to pick up my payment. Not at all a pleasant experience and not returning. read more

Great food, great drinks, whoever thought of the whiskey flights is genius. The cardiologist is my go to burger, pastrami, and pulled pork you can't go wrong. The breakfast is also good. read more

Pretty good food, pretty good service, pretty good atmosphere. The hash browns tend to be a bit undercooked, though. Ask for them well done if that's important to you. read more

Thought we'd come in and grab a bite- A booth was open in the bar but the hostess said they had a booth in dining area- we preferred the bar- first she said if you can wait a minute someone just sat there so we thought she had to clean it- but when we asked again... she said to wait because she just sat someone else in the bar and she didn't want to crowd the waitress because it wasn't her turn. We waited a few minutes more but then asked a again" can we just sit in there and wait and she said no - there was no reason we couldn't have sat at the open table in the bar... As the three hostesses just sat up at the counter staring at us and again asking us to sit in the dining area- we again said no we prefer the bar- after a few minutes more we left. We are regulars here and there was no reason we couldn't have sat in the bar. The front desk could be a little friendlier - We've noticed the staff in the dining needs some friendlier faces too. We found the bar staff to be a little more welcoming - but this trip was a turn off completely! read more

I began dining at haymaker when they were able to reopen this past summer. Prior to dining at Haymaker, I had no clue how many details a restaurant must address so that the opportunity to provide its patrons a extraordinary experience exists! The menu is incredible, and they serve the full menu open to close. Same with the bar- full bar open to close! Every menu item was chosen with intent, these are the items the chef wanted you to be able to experience- the best way to describe it is that there is a specialness to the food you receive. Regardless if it is something more complex to make Such as eggs Benedict, or something that is simple, but lacking in any real option to change anything because it is kind of grandfathered in with its name such as huevos rancheros, or even something that is a given, typically, But people have little reason to be enticed to order It such as grilled cheese,.....there was a specialness (somehow). I believe that their ability to extend such a enjoyable experience to everyone is achieved because they rooted their intention to do so in their approach----the enjoyment they receive in providing the experience is the only way I can think to put the specialness into words. All those details are transparent to me because of the ambassador to the extraordinary experiences....our server, Miranda Castanon. She is the embodiment of what the entire package looks like. It is so fabulous to have had the opportunity to have Miranda as our server each time we have dined there. Regardless of what was going on in the world, in the restaurant or in that span of time we spent there, Miranda provided us a extraordinary experience. She never waivers from that intention or approach because it matters to her and everyone she works with at Haymaker. I literally leave there feeling as special as the food I receive- how could I not? Having someone make you something that feels special, would make anyone feel that way! read more

Our favorite place for breakfast! He can have eggs and pancakes and hash browns and I can have whatever I want. Not eggs. Miranda is always thoughtful and cheerful. Very good. Quick with drink refills. Food is not fancy but locally sourced as much as they can and it tastes fresh--even salad at 7a. They practice restrictions with masks and cleaning and seating. read more
