I contacted Brandon at Airmerica and he graciously came to our home within an hour of contacting him. He assessed our unit quickly and professionally (bad capacitor and a bad wire) and promptly had our unit back up and running within a short time. I was impressed by his knowledge of AC systems, his honesty, and willingness to educate me through each step of the repair process. He also thoroughly checked the unit inside and gave recommendations to keep it running efficiently. The price was reasonable and there was no after-hours diagnostic fee that most companies charge. I highly recommend Brandon and will use his services in the future, as well as refer him to family and friends.

I strongly recommend avoiding this company…read more We initially hired them to repair a plumbing leak. The repair was not done correctly, and the joint continued to leak. Although they stated their work was covered by a one-year warranty, when we called them back they simply attempted to smear additional PVC glue around the existing joint, which is not a proper repair and obviously did not solve the problem. After contacting them again, they returned and said a more extensive repair was required. At approximately 8:45 AM we were told the additional work would cost $200, which we approved. By the time they left around 3:30 PM, we were presented with a bill that was $700 more than the amount we approved, along with another hole cut into a different wall. They also performed work on our upstairs toilet that we never authorized. Unfortunately I had to leave partway through the day, but my girlfriend was home the entire time. Before I left after lunch, they told us everything was going well and that they were almost finished. At no point during the day did they contact us to approve additional work or inform us that the cost had increased dramatically. At best, this reflects a complete lack of transparency. At worst, it feels intentionally misleading and the stereotypical taking advantage of a woman. We were quoted one price in the morning, reassured midday that the job was nearly complete, and then presented with a significantly higher bill and additional work that was never discussed or approved. It was also troubling that these decisions were made without making any effort whatsoever to communicate the changes or obtain approval before proceeding. Between the failed initial repair, the improper "warranty fix," the lack of transparency, and the unauthorized work and charges, the experience was both costly and infuriating. I strongly encourage others to look for a plumbing company that operates with greater honesty and professionalism.

Otherwise.......the value for your service is minus several hundreds of dollars and your name is mud. Shame on you. Well ,Sam is a good guy after all I said. He called me back, went to the property resolved the issue which turned out not to be a mistake he made but rather our tenant moving the overflow drain out of the drain. The other company said the water heater needed to be moved. Sam showed me proof he hadn't moved the location of the water heater from its original spot that it sat on for over 20 years. We had just bought a house less than two months prior and had plumbing back into our house three weeks in. We called Roto-Rooter who "fixed" the issue temporarily. They sent a less experienced plumber out first who could not pinpoint the issue and the "experienced" one the next day was unable to find the sewer cleanout and had to run a smaller blade through the pipe to create a quick fix. When it backed up into our house again three weeks later, we called Bies and Joe came the next day. He found TWO cleanouts in our yard, broke up all of the debris at our connection to the city main, and showed us live footage of said debris getting pushed through. He did everything Roto-Rooter couldn't do in half the trips and half the time of one Roto-Rooter trip. Joe was fantastic to work with, fixing our problem with expertise while offering several helpful tips for the future. Could not have asked for a better company, a better price, or a better person to come fix the issue.

Vance, who I am told is a service manger with Beis, was immediately defensive and dismissive when 1) Learning his technician said the hot water expansion tank was out of code before learning Beis themselves installed it and me providing him this feedback and 2) Getting feedback that a $165 service charge is a lot for a technician to spend 25 minutes at my home to tell me my T&P valve was set off (which I informed them was the reason I called to begin with). I would not at all recommend using Beis for any service issues whatsoever as you're going to be met with a dismissal of any concerns or feedback immediately.

I have never received a more ridiculous bid. This company gave me a bid for $20,000 for a job that…read morewas done by another company for less than half of that price with a warranty. Shamrock's bid required tearing up concrete inside my basement bathroom and outdoor concrete sidewalk. The bid did not include fixing these things back to where they were just for the record. Meaning they would tear out the wall, the toilet, the sink, the tile, and I was responsible for getting rid of all the debris and replacing everything and putting it all back together. They basically said in the bid that they are not responsible for just about anything that happens while they are there and did not even give a quote on the length of pipe to be replaced. Meaning they could tell me anything once they opened up the ground and said oh well that wasn't included. They basically said if we damage the grinder pit that they aren't responsible for that. If the digging they do compromises the structural integrity of my deck that they aren't responsible. If their equipment gets stuck in a pipe, I am responsible to pay for the removal and repair of that. They aren't responsible for any damage caused by weather so then they can just leave everything as is and not worry about trying to mitigate anything. This contract was the biggest joke I had ever seen. It did not include a diagram of where the new pipes would go, how much of the concrete would be removed, where the new pipe would go and on and on. With a huge price tag and many disclaimers that said the price could end up being signifcantly higher than the original bid. The company I did hire fixed the pipe, did not tear up any concrete, inside or out, did not disturb the soil around my deck piers, and were done in less than a day. I had another company inspect their work and the project passed inspection. This cost less than half of Shamrocks ridiculous bid and came with a warranty. Shamrock wanted to destroy so much of my property for absolutely no reason, well, the reason was to walk away with big dollars and leave me with a nightmare.
