The following is a honest review of Aireserv Eureka a company that has stumbled in their service nearly from the moment we bought an Amana HVAC unit from them in August of 2024. The original much more critical 1 star review is below and it is all still very true but they have as of mid August 2025 rectified some of their errors by honoring repairs and warranties that Amana refuses to honor. Does that completely erase all the errors that have been made along the road? Honestly no they do not, but I appreciate that they are currently doing their best to repair what was wrong. They very well might be a very good company but my wife and I's recent experience has been rocky at best. Update to a 3 -3.5 star rating. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1 STAR REVIEW. : Based off of positive reviews on Yelp and Google my wife and I chose to buy a new HVAC unit from Aireserv Eureka in August of 2024. In no less than 3 MONTHS our unit broke down, something was literally smoking, due to a failure to install the unit properly. Then in March of 2025 we discovered that they installed a unit that for natural gas, which we do not have, instead of propane WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN SINCE THE PIPES ARE APPARENTLY VERY DIFFERENT. So yet another overhaul was made. Then in June of 2025 we started to notice the coldest we could get the house was 75 degrees. So we called for another checkup and they "supposedly" fixed it, saying it had been improperly calibrated during installation. But one month later, in July, our unit broke down AGAIN. This time completely, leaving our house in the 90s. Now as I right this in August of 2025 THE HOTTEST PART OF THE YEAR they have yet to fix my unit. Week after week, yes you have read that correctly, it has been weeks since we called them to fix our unit, we have had to call them over 20 times. So far we are at week 3 and moving soon to 4. Airserve Eureka's horrible service has so far consistented of misdiagnosis, instillation of wrong parts, incorrect calibration of the unit, and long waits (4+ days) while a part ships. They have given an excuse for everything, always blaming someone else (Amana). According to them, none of this is their fault. They are playing the victim of corporate manufacturing. But, why would you want to reach out to a company who has no control over the services they offer? We then said, since there are so many issues with my unit from the start and I am still under warranty, why don't they just install a new unit. So far they have refused to honor the warranty because Amana won't. I'm not writing this bad review out of spite but as a civic duty to report incompetence in what is falsely sold as good. I hope those of you reading this heed my warning about Airserve Eureka. They are just plain terrible. UPDATE: In mid late August 2025. Aireserv Eureka decided to ignore Amana's horrible lack of honoring our warranty and installed a new RUUD unit. Let's hope this goes better than this last year's trials. I'd definitely not recommend Amana for a future HVAC regardless of the positive reviews they have online. Eureka honestly doesn't deserve a stellar 5 star review but they have tried to do right currently so perhaps they again as mentioned above deserve more a 3-3.5 Star rating. read more

They were responsive and came out to see what was wrong with our A/C. That was the only positive I can give them. However they don't tell you up front about their pricing, charge $180 for the first pound of freon, then $120 for each additional pound and then proceed to put 5 lbs in the unit. They didn't disclose the cost up front, which if you think at the end of the day your going to hand your customer an $800 bill for service, you better make sure your customer is accepting that service first. They need better communication, more professionalism (they were rude and defensive when my husband talked to them after he found out they put it in without talking to him). This company used to be awesome at one time, but Neil and his brother sold the business. Unfortunately these folks don't operate with the same principles as Neil did. First of all, my review is based on how they responded to my inquiry. They were great! I haven't worked with them but they are currently my back up choice, if the first vendor doesn't work out. However, don't be afraid to reach out to this company. Their communication was prompt & professional. I'll update my review if they do the work on my furnace. Our AC was old and we wanted to replace it but after our first few cold days early fall (before we really needed the the furnace) the furnace went out. We called someone out and they told us the whole unit needed to be replaced, gave us an astronomical quote. So we wanted a second opinion and quote before we made any choices, and contacted Eureka Heating and Cooling on the recommendation of several neighbors. They scheduled us fast, didn't charge us extra, saw immediately what was wrong and gave us a very honest, fair quote for reputable brand furnace + installation. The price quoted upfront was exactly what they charged, not a dime extra. When it came time to replace it they were right on time, got done while one of my kiddos was in a zoom class and were gone before his next. We liked them so much that we had them replace the old AC unit as well about a month later which was equally fast and affordable. They left no mess, they were fast working, kind, and very considerate. Everytime I've interacted with them (calling the office or meeting the gentlemen) it's been a pleasant experience and they've exceeded my expectations. Scheduled a service call to address an air flow issue on a system that was not a year old. John was the tech and he was great. The issue turned out to be one of our own creation, but John took the time to find the problem, tweak the system just a little and educate me a bit more on the thermostat settings. We have used Eureka Heating and Cooling for several years and always get great service, fair pricing and quick response. The reception staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable and try their best to get service to us as soon as possible. In the past, they have replaced and/or repaired our two heat pump units as well as doing regular service checks. Neal always gives us complete information on what is needed and it is a pleasure to work with him. Customer for life!! Mark came out to fix our heat on the Sunday before a big snow storm and record low temps hit. Another company had come out several days prior and misdiagnosed our problem as a dirty air filter (future aire- worst customer service experience by far in my life, but that's another review) so I was worried something was really wrong at the worst possible time. Mark explained everything he did, told me what was working and what the issues were, spent time going over the whole system and really knew his stuff. He made some short term fixes so we would have heat while waiting for the part to come. They even called me the next morning to check on us and make sure we were warm enough. Now THAT is excellent customer service, THAT is how you earn a customer for life. You guys have our business forever and we will always recommend you. read more

I can not say enough about this company! Our air broke when the heat index was 110. I wrote Eureka Heating and Cooling in a Yelp message and in 10 minutes had a reply (at 11 pm). By 8am the next day Neal was at my house. Within an hour he had replaced a part, cleaned my air conditioner (something I should have done), and inspected the whole unit inside and out! He was kind, compassionate, and beyond honest. He walked me through the whole process and showed me everything he was doing! My AC froze up in the heat of August and I called at 9 AM. They were here by 9:30. They came back after it defrosted and fixed it within 20 minutes. It just needed a recharge. Their prices are reasonable and only sold me what I needed. The technician was very polite and knew what he was doing. read more

EH&C installed our Ruud system new and we have been very happy. They have come out to help us with everything from replacing two pressure switches to helping my wife clear a mouse nest from our inlet pipe! After 13 years, A/C is cold and our 90+ efficient furnace keeps our LP usage to around 400 gallons for our 3,000 sq ft home. read more
