Recently we had Sean come out to trouble-shoot, and ended up with a video camera DVD of a drain line from the gutter to the street, which pinpointed our troubles. Here's your Pro-Tip from Sean: remember to rout out your lines before the holidays, as a matter of routine maintenance. Otherwise, when the house is suddenly full of twenty relatives - whoops! What might have been a small problem turns into a big problem at a bad time. Thanks, Sean!

Another company we called wasn't able to work us in, but they recommended Steve, and said he was experienced, honest, and fair. That was exactly the case! He worked us in quickly, fixed our sewage blockage in less than an hour, didn't throw a lot of extra things in to boost the cost, and charged a VERY reasonable price. Very friendly and explained everything he was doing so that I...a new, first-time homebuyer...could learn more about our house's system. With an older house in the city--there are a lot of quirks! Steve wasn't deterred. We would 100% call him again and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.

They were not polite (besides a younger male who was very friendly). The older man yelled at us for running water during their work (we didn't). They also left a HUGE mound of dirt, about 4 feet tall (which is apparently normal for sewer work, but they could have left us know before leaving). Stormy was apologetic about this on the phone, so we decided to move forward on the inside work. The inside crew was FANTASTIC! Total night and day difference! I understand why they have the friendlier guys do the inside work, lol. They were in-and-out in 3 hours. Overall, while I had a mixed experience, I'd consider using Tope again. They aren't the worst, especially on the customer service side.

He was up front and you could tell he'd been doing this a while because he answered all my questions and has a ton of knowledge even considering my house is 100+years old. He spent literally 30+ minutes getting an old clay top that was the size of a 5lb weight plate (basically exactly the diameter) of my drain out of my sewer pipe. Who knows how long it'd been stuck down there and causing issues. I was able to see what was inside my drain and he specifically pointed out what I'd need to do to address it.
