Absolutely not helpful at all Called earlier to see if they had a record of the life scan I received because when I went to complete the certification I need they said no livescan had been submitted. I paid 90 something for a livescan for this place to do what with it? No clue. Beyond frustrating experience talking to the representative on the phone and was told she'd call back but never did and also took a nasty tone with me when she decided she was done answering my questions I had gotten a livescan there before and will never go back due to their unprofessionalism. I should have checked Yelp before going to this place. Not surprised to see the 1 star reviews on here as I can confirm that the customer service here is non existent. I came to do a live scan. Online they advertise $25, but when I got there, they said it would be $78 because my scan required extra services. Ok fine whatever... I pull out my credit card to pay but the lady (same one listed as the manager of this place in the photos section) asks if I can Venmo her instead. Thought it was a weird ask but sure why not.... I send her $78 for goods and services and we proceed to do the live scan. Halfway through the service she says that I still owe her something like $1.50 because her Venmo shows she only received $76.50. I pulled out my phone to show her that I did send $78, and I explained that the difference is due to the fact that Venmo charges a small fee for business transactions (you ask someone to send you Venmo and you don't even know this?!?). She says I only sent her $76.50 and I need to pay her the extra $1.50. Now I'm a man of principal... so I stand my ground and said no because I clearly had $78 deducted from my venmo account which she fails to acknowledge. After a long back and forth, I said ok forget the scan and just give me a refund, and she says no and tells me to get out of the office. Uhhh... that's not how this works lady.... I just sit there and tell her I'm not leaving until I get a refund as I didn't get my live scan and I already sent her $78 on Venmo. While she is yelling at me, I'm also reaching out to Venmo customer service to explain the situation and try to figure out how to get a refund. Venmo eventually credits the lady back the service fee and so now I'm asking for a refund again since she now has the full $78 in her account. She still denies me the refund and says "how do I know you're not going to cancel the payment after I give you a refund"....... WHAT?!?!?! So I'm just sitting there quite puzzled and I kept explaining that I clearly sent her the money and I can see on her activity list that she has the full amount of $78 credited to her account, so I'm like what more do you want. I told her I've already given in to all her demands: $78 instead of $25, Venmo instead of Credit Card... and all I want is a refund so we can go our separate ways. We're basically at a stalemate until another customer walks in... which I believe she doesn't want the image that she's giving bad customer service, so she finally sends me back the $78 and I leave the place. I went somewhere else and was charged $17 for a live scan. This place charged $60.00....unbelievable. the audacity. She had the nerve to yell at me when I asked for my money. You HAVE charged me for UPS services, then I received a bill from UPS for $35. I tried calling your office for the issue and no one tried to help. I called UPS they said they cant do anything about it because the payment was processed through your company. Then I called my bank to dispute the payment, but they couldn't process the dispute because I signed your policy. Plus my bank already sent you all the proof you need. If you have 22 years of business then you should start doing better business. Nini is my middle name , and you should chill lady! read more

Hayasa Express is a great place to go for business services. Prices are fair (although copy/printing can be slightly pricey). I have read other reviews where people have had a bad experience but I have had nothing but good memories. Hayasa is one of the businesses in the upper (west) parking lot. The (upper) shopping center also has a EXCELLENT Subway and a DELICIOUS bakery. STOP! And read my story before you conduct your business with them. So I had my fingerprint done in this location for my medical licensing; however, the fingerprint was rejected by the DOJ due to lack of quality. I went back and asked for another fingerprint. She told me that I have to pay again and that it's my fingers fault that the fingerprint didn't come out right! When I refused to pay she became even more agitated and started cussing at me and my mom saying we are dirty animals and that we want everything for free! She went on to say that I'm probably not even a real doctor and I'm a fraud! I have never in my life been treated like this. First of all when I arrived they didn't greet me (whatever this is fine), one of them just kept looking at her paper and the other lady came up to me so I asked her how much it was for Live Scan Request and the lady quoted $79. I said okay I'll come back, thank you and the lady told me "DON'T COME BACK" I said excuse me? And she repeated, "DON'T COME BACK." BEWARE!! I went to Hayasa Express Business Services on April 29, 2015, to obtain one set of fingerprints required (this one set is needed to pass state police and federal bureau of investigation) by the Board of Nursing. On May 18, 2015, I received a letter from the Board of Nursing stating that the fingerprints were rejected by the federal bureau of investigation because "The quality of the characteristics is too low to be used." As a result of this problem, they requested two sets of fingerprints. Therefore, I contacted Hayasa Express to let them know what happened, and instead of showing any concern, she (the main lady who handles the money) dryly asked if I have the letter, which I certainly did along with their receipt! When I showed up to Hayasa Express, she was planning to charge me for my fingerprints, and when I calmly expressed how unfair that was since they are the ones who messed up, causing this delay and inconvenience, she started raising her voice, and declared as a charity case, she would charge for only one! When I clarified that the only reason I had to deal with providing two fingerprints in the first place was because their lack of quality work as quoted above. Then she started yelling, "Are you stupid? Do you speak English? How do you know that the Board of Nursing did not make a mistake in the beginning and forgot to ask for two fingerprints instead of one?" I was calm, professional, and respectful despite my frustration the whole time until this very moment. I promptly asked for a refund and left this hole in the wall place. I've never been so disrespected by a business without any provocation on my part. As for her questions and comments: 1. No, I am not stupid. I went to both law school and family nurse practitioner schools. 2. Yes, I do speak English. I was an English major at UC Berkeley. 3. Board of Nursing, being government and all, does not arbitrarily forget about requiring one or two sets of fingerprints to obtain their licensing. I went to UPS in La Canada instead, and they were far more professional and understanding! Please save yourself the grief! read more
