Yanna is amazing! I was worried the lashes would be too curled as I've seen it happen before, but felt very comfortable with her working on me. She was extremely accommodating as I had to reschedule my appointment and very easy to get in touch with through email and answer my questions. The lash lift is beautiful and her studio is very relaxing, I am definitely going back to her again when I need another lift. I highly recommend to anyone who's a little hesitant, as Yanna will make sure you're comfortable and make sure you get the lashes you want!

I had brought glasses with me this day, but was in such a rush after taking the train and was NOT reminded to. I then remembered about half way thru, and told her. That same day I started having horrible eye stabbing pains, went to my eye doctor who said I had chemical burns on both eyes which have led to horrible, life ruining pain/conplications. I do not wish what happened to me on my worst enemy, and all I can really say is be weary/careful when doing any 'beauty treatments', as you may ruin your life.

I started out loving this place until I kept having my hair messed up by Michael Hopkins "Michael…read moreDavid Styles". First he made my hair orange. Then he tried to fix it and ended up streaking my hair instead of highlighting it. I brought in clip in extensions and he couldn't color them so he called them crap. I took them home and did them myself easily. Turns out he doesn't have an actual beautician license for the state of IL. The salon itself is very nice and the owner is really sweet which is why it's not getting only one star, however if you don't do due diligence on your employees, how reputable can you be? Give it a shot just don't get your hair done by him.

This review is for the lash application by Semeka…read more I haven't got my eye lashes done in a while and saw a Groupon for Crème de La Lash (located at Salon Heaven & Spa). I booked my appointment about a month out and appreciated receiving a confirmation text. Sometimes I get worried when I book things so far an advance, but Semeka even sent me a reminder day of and was able to move my appointment time up. The salon itself is beautiful and pretty spacious. Very convenience location from the red line transportation. Having got my eye lashes done before I was sort of dreading laying there for an hour, but she played such good music I was almost able to fall asleep. I like that she did one eye at a time versus having both eyes taped and going back and forth between lash applications. Somehow that made a big difference in my comfort. (I'm a contact wearer) I love the results! Not too long that they look fake, but they do make a huge difference. I have very large eyes and you have to use a longer length in order to make them really stand out. As a side note something I will probably need to take up with Groupon, but she said that the deal where you get one full set of mink lashes and a follow up 4 week appointment is not correct. The follow up appointment is more so a filler appointment, but after four weeks you'll probably only have two lashes left and require a new set (which she is willing to charge a discount on). A little bit of sneaky advertising, but she said that Groupon would not fix it, so she opted to remove her groupon completely. We worked out something, but for others just a heads up! :)

The salon is located inside a building with several other restaurants and businesses on the same floor, so it took me a minute to find it. I got a regular manicure and a pedicure, and the service was fairly quick. I liked that the staff took their time shaping my nails and applying the polish instead of rushing through it. The only thing I wish had been better was the massage. It felt a little short and could have used a bit more pressure. Unfortunately, about three days after my appointment, I noticed the polish had already started chipping at the tips of my nails, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but I expected the manicure to last longer.
