Once to tell me the dog would be done in 35-40 minutes an hour in and the next to call me 5 minutes after that time was up to tell me that she didn't do the nail trim that was included with the service and that she was leaving for the day cause her shift was over. My dog was there for 2 hours, I don't understand how she didn't have time to complete it. She said my dog was being wiggly and that's why it wasn't done. I literally pay to bring my dogs here so that I don't have to trim their nails myself. I don't have the ability to do it at home. I am disappointed that now I have to take my dog somewhere else and pay more money to complete a service I already paid for. She was gone at 2:02pm when I came to pick up my dog and there were other groomers there that could have completed the groom if she needed to leave so badly. She also tried to upsell me on a Furminator package that I didn't order and now I think that's hilarious because she wouldn't have had time to finish it anyway.

Instead of immediately pointing me toward medication, she took the time to ask questions and suggested that the fresh food might be too rich for him. She recommended mixing in some kibble first to see if that helps before jumping into meds. I ended up getting a salmon-flavored dry food to try, and I really appreciated her honest advice. It felt like she actually cared about my dog and not just making a sale. Great customer service--thank you for the help!

I have a trusted vet I take my pets to and according to Petcos policy, you are able to sell and prescription needed to a person with a veterinary written prescription. They still denied me and said that policy isn't true. Petsmart accepted my prescription. Petco lost my business.

My second order has been a very frustrating experience. Regarding my store credit, there was no way to apply it to an online purchase. I tried calling several times to reconcile this via ordering over the phone or obtain some type of of coupon that could be used online, but my calls went unanswered over several days and later my calls were answered by an automated message saying their phone system was done. Because customer service had previously been favorable, I made the order online and sent an email asking for the credit to be applied. One week after the order was placed, and ten days after leaving my last voicemail with customer service, I received a call answering that message. The service rep, Dominique, was pleasant, but she could not help us with applying the credit. We had not yet received a confirmation of order or shipping notification, which we asked Dominique to provide. She said that would be provided and also said that the order would be shipping in no less than three business days, probably sooner. Instead, five business days later I received a notification that the items would be shipped the following day. KW Cages has quality products and if you order one month in advance, you might just get want you ordered when you need it.

Upon entering and signing in, they took her on a walk to let her get comfortable. They gradually built trust and also gave me a rundown of how short I would like her fur to be, as well as being transparent on how the matting for her poodle fur might cause the cut to be even shorter. I appreciated the headsup! Booking was easy and so was pickup. While it took longer than expected, they communicated with me and kept me updated, which is understandable knowing Onion's demeanor. I was greeted by a nice handsome gentleman Rico. He gave me a couple of samples. He told me about the different foods they had, show me which one to give me girls. He was so genuine and thoughtful. But, today was different. Both tubs had visible dog hair all over the mats, inside the tubs, and even in the drains. Which clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. When I politely asked if the tubs were sanitized, I was told they were sprayed down. But when I asked for gloves to clean it myself, the staff member came over with a dismissive attitude. removed the drain piece, set it aside, and walked away without actually cleaning it. Cleanliness should be a basic expectation, right? Especially, at a self-wash facility. I was disappointed not just by the filth, but also by the way I was treated for asking. I ended up leaving without washing my dog, after driving all the way from Escondido and coordinating with my husband to meet me there. It was a waste of time and a really disappointing experience. This unfortunately isn't a very generous window. To my dismay I was on day 6 so they said they couldn't. I explained that I live about 30min away and am off work around 630/7 so it's VERY difficult to make it down within the 5d period. After explaining this they said they could make an exception. The one downside is their driftwood pricing. They do have sims decent selection; however there's no set pricing guidelines. Other LFS stores use color-coded zip ties to denote price; here they don't. Online it says they sell based on weight; however the times I've bought pieces they've never weighed it: it seems like they just come up with a number and that's what you pay up. I guess another downside is they have a smaller selection (of goods in general) than other local LFS stores and they're a bit pricier.
