Been my go to for jumbo worms to feed the gecko / bird feed for my cockatiel . Always friendly with quick / easy in n out . Always love to see the iguana ..... knowing wife will never allow an iguana in the house no matter what I say I love that it's by Costco gas because sometimes I can run like Usain Bolt to retrieve the worms before my gas is complete read more

All 4 Pets is a family-owned pet store that has been a staple in Santee for years. For years they operated out of a suite on the east end of the CVS/Discount Tire anchored strip mall on Mission Gorge/Cuyamaca (now home to Trader Joe's among others) before relocating to the west side of the parking lot. They carry just about everything you'd find at a big-box store, just in a smaller volume. Their prices might be a tad higher, but wouldn't you rather support local than a giant billion-dollar corporation? read more

Michelle is wonderful at all four pets. We can find all of our cats and dogs needs here. They're very knowledgeable on what your animals need. We give all 4 pets five stars today and every day. read more

Nice small business , friendly, good selection . They have the Good brands, not the junk others sell.

I love this pet store. They are very friendly and informative. I just rescued a puppy and I am working on training him. I came in looking for an alternative chew toy because the bully sticks I was buying were very expensive. McKayla was helpful from start to finish and introduced me to these treats called collagen sticks that are a fraction of the price of a bully stick. Along with giving me advice on how to train my new pup. I also bought some crickets for my Leopard gecko in the process. I'll be coming back to support this small business. Thanks for taking the time to help me today! read more

I love coming here! The staff are so sweet and helpful and seem to love what they do. There are so many selections for dogs, cats, reptiles, hamsters, etc. I love their freezer treat/ food options and always seem to have what I am looking for. I wish I took some pictures of the layout but it's very inviting! My dog loves it here too and picks out her favorite treats! I feel the prices are very reasonable and in someways better than PetSmart and Petco! read more

We've been coming here for many years! Michelle treats us like family and always takes the time to answer our questions. We never feel rushed and truly appreciate her understanding and the heartfelt care she gives in making sure we're on the right path with our animals' diet. This place is a gem, and we highly recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their pets. read more

I love this place and what healthy options it has. Sad story but my cat Otis was dying of cancer since diagnosed since September and I had bought a lot of food since he was on steroids and he was eating a lot more than normal. He has since passed on 12/26 unfortunately and finally got my strength to see if I could return anything or donate. The manager there is amazing and had such empathy for me and gave me a full refund on what I had leftover and was so kind through my whole process since September when I got the news on his health. Highly recommend this place and once I get the courage to get another fur baby in my life I will always go to All 4 Pets for the kindness and also wonderful food selections. read more

They have an okay selection on healthy foods and treats. Wish they had more raw food options. However, my biggest complaint is towards the rude lady in charge (the one with the mullet). She is extremely rude and unfriendly. Wish she knew how to treat her customers. The teenagers that work there are friendlier but not helpful when you ask them questions. read more

Love this little shop! This place is like a pet supply wonderland. It's tough finding live snake food these days at the large commercial pet stores, so we come here instead for our mice. They also have plenty of reasonable priced dog treats like pig ears. The store itself offers a variety of items. However my problem is with the older lady that seems to run the store. A few weeks back they were working on their floors. When i walked in they seemed annoyed that I was there, although they were open for business. I've decided to drive a further distance to IB pets in La Mesa as I refuse to give this place more of my money. read more

This family-owned store is the best! The owners are knowledgable and have a great selection of products to keep my animals healthy and happy. They have given me great ideas over the years and have always exhibited courtesy, honesty, and integrity. Investing in a local family business who understands customer service and animal health is a win-win!! Check out All 4 Pets in Santee!! read more

Talk about great small business that cares for their customers! I started coming here when I lived in Lakeside as it was the closest store that had reptile food in my area and was highly recommended. Well, when I say they go above and beyond for you they truly do! They have special ordered stuff for my bearded dragon that was not carried in stock and the best part is they did not mark up the price either. I was very pleased to say the least! Always greeted with a smile and the staff has always been great about answering any questions. They maintained great customer service during our COVID bad days protecting both customers and employees and that means a lot! We have since moved from Lakeside but dont mind driving the 30 minutes to Santee just to go to their store because they're that awesome! read more

Has a good amount of fresh goods (think Whole Foods but for pets) but only wish they had bigger sizes.

This is the best local store! They sell high quality pet food. I don't always write reviews, but I knew I had to write a glowing review because this is one of the only places that sells food that I need to buy for my cat. This store has helped my cat so much (who has food allergies). I am so grateful for this place. My cat used to develop these weird lesions all over her skin, and she wasn't her usual self and not feeling well. After many vet trips trying everything we could to help our kitty, we found out that she is allergic/sensitive to additives in some big brand pet foods. After doing research, I learned about different ingredients in pet foods that can cause health issues for pets. I learned about the concept of human-grade pet food (meaning that the food is technically edible for humans because all the ingredients are approved by the FDA for human consumption). Pet grade food has different standards. Well, All 4 Pets sells natural and human-grade cat food that my cat can eat--food that I can't find at either Petco or PetSmart. I had been looking everywhere for good pet food for her! I'm so glad I found this place. My cat feels so much better, she is more playful and more like herself again, and she also loves her new food, which is great because she can sometimes be finicky, lol. So I will always shop here and give them my business! Plus, they have a nice loyalty program, and the employees are so nice, which is a bonus. Highly recommend this place! read more

Happened in on this busting at the seams animal feed and play store while having my tires fixed just a few doors down. All 4 Pets offers a HUGE array of pet feeds and those hard to find accessories. Reasonably priced with a friendly and helpful staff, this location is set in the City Center and makes for a quick in and out shopping trip for your fur baby or reptilian friend that needs that specialized care not found at the big name stores. Easy to miss if you're not looking for it it sits squarely between Best Buy and Discount Tire across the street from the Santee Trolley Square Town Center. read more

All 4 Pets - RC 'The Store Mascot' - Pet Stores Near Me - Santee, California

Shopping for a pet is second only to shopping for a kid. Or a best friend. Inventory here reaches to every manner of pet from dog to cat to bird to you name it. Actually you name it was in a huge glass, heated cage at the front cashier's counter. A 16 year old green iguana, 6 feet long, with a full, fresh fruit dinner dish, blinked back at customers. He was sweet, nodding back when the clerk nodded, and stretching with eyes closed when she rubbed his head and cheeks. I hope he gets to be off work in a more restful place for lizards. And I'm not even a reptile lover. We found plenty of dog toys to chose from. Stock is marked with red price tags. That's a funny, not too subtle psychological trick to make buyers think they're getting a sales deal. No matter, I found a cute little wrap for a doggie stuck in the 100 year Northern cold of 2015. read more

This place has all the good stuff any pet will need. Super helpful and friendly. Cat,dog and lizard shopping I go there.

There's a Petco and PetSmart on both sides of the street, and we opt for All 4 Pets whenever possible. They carry EVO brand foods (gluten-corn-soy-grain-and-rice free!) as well as many, many other natural brands. They have such a huge toy and treat selection for all your pets, including a new cold case for raw pet food! The best is their friendly service and adorable mascot (see pictures). This place is awesome! The staff is so nice and friendly. They have great prices and great customer service. Last night I was running a couple minutes late and did not realize they were closing early #quarantine. The nice lady that answered the phone said no problem I could stay open a few minutes for you. Even in these rough times, there are still people out there that are willing to help. I love this place and will continue to shop here. Please stop by and show your support to this local pet supply store that has been in Santee for years. read more

They have very reasonable prices for what we need for our dogs! Their monthly deals are good on our budget. They even sell flea medicine in smaller portions so I don't have to buy the whole box. As long as they are in business they will always have our business! Thank you All 4 Pets read more

I depend on All 4 Pets, since my cat is on a special diet. They go above and beyond when it comes to supporting special needs.

Good place. Nice people and a great selection of pet food and accessories. I like this place.

Very helpful staff! I have a ball python and they have been so helpful answering any questions. They have a beautiful Iguana up front that is always a treat to see. They have even started remembering my usual order as I come in every 2 weeks to grab a couple of mice for my snake! Its always a plus to support small local business. read more

First off, I don't really care if it's a chain or a small business, when it comes to a pet store, my focus is my dog. I originally started coming here for a new food I was switching my dog to. They were the only carriers in Santee, and they had reasonable prices. Honestly, I don't love this place, but I don't dislike it. The staff is hit or miss: sometimes they completely ignore me, and other times they're nice, helpful, and pleasant. I do feel that when my dog is with me in the store, that I get more of the former response; like they're annoyed I brought my dog into a store catered for pets. Overall I'm not wowed by anything there. I could care less about the service they give to me, but when it comes to my dog, at least PRETEND you like animals. read more

This store has a lot of great products for animals that you can't find anywhere else. I go there for my dog's food because it's close by and no one else really carries it. Plus they have a great iguana to look at. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the girls behind the counter and their crappy customer service. I was struggling to carry over a full size bag of dog food to the counter. They didn't even bother looking up for a second to ask if I needed help. On top of it I had to place it ON the counter. The chick at the register couldn't bother looking over the counter for the price. They don't scan bar codes or anything, they have a ghetto cash register! I didn't need to break my back because of her lack of customer service. If I didn't get my dog's food there I would have given them 1 star and said a whole lot of other things about those two 'lovely' ladies. Thanks for the slipped disk All 4 Pets! read more

Avoid the generic big box experience of the two other pet stores in Santee and shop at a store with so much personality that a giant iguana will meet you at the front counter! Our family of three dogs, two cats, and two hamsters have been shopping here for years. The staff has always been extremely helpful and knowledgable. They can answer questions and offer useful advice. Michelle helped us select food and treats as we diagnosed a cat's allergy. We now special order a brand of cat food that they normally do not stock. She orders us our own bag monthly, so when we come by to restock on supplies, our bag is waiting with other custom orders. In the past, they have also special ordered extra scented Jolly Balls for us to give as gifts. We love trying new brands of healthy canned food and stock up during monthly promotions. Our monthly shopping list includes: -Nature's Best cat litter -Avoderm cat food--special order -canned cat & dog food (Tikki is our favorite brand, but often buy the specials) -hamster food & treats -hamster bedding & little alfalfa houses -dog rawhides & various meaty treats -dental milkbones -cat treats -broken bone bags for only $1 read more

There's a goat iguana in the front display by the cash wrap! Located in the same plaza as Best Buy- this store is easy to find. They carry the brands we love at a decent price. Actually it's a few bucks less that other major pet stores. They also carry treats that the other pet stores don't. My dogs love the Wellness brand treats and we usually pick them up from here. The owner is nice and the employees are always helpful! read more

I desperately want to adore this place, I really do. They have a great selection of food and pet products and the staff is quite knowledgeable. If they don't have what you are looking for they are willing to offer to order it. The customer service needs an overhaul. Would it kill you to smile or be friendly? If it will by all means continue what you're doing. When I come into a small business I expect the employees to be personable. Not too much to ask, is it? On every occasion that I have been in this store the staff is not rude by any means but they just don't seem to be very happy, just going through the motions. I actually don't mind paying a bit more to support a small business, especially in Santee, where everyone is obsessed with big-box, chain, franchise, cookie-cutter BS. I would like to see this store thrive but it seems that I'm not the only customer noticing the personality problem here. read more

Amazing customer service. Follows COVID rules. Always have the products and brands I need. The girls are super sweet helpful nice pleasant.

I prefer independent stores over chains. I don't live in Santee, but will come here if I'm in town. Every month, they have a special on dog food, it's one of the higher-end brands such as Blue Buffalo. Additionally, they run a monthly drawing, such as $50 GC for a local restaurant. It's usually in association with that month's monthly food special, so I'm cool with that. They have a frequent buyer program. I agree there's one girl working there who has a less than helpful attitude, but everyone else is nice. I used to occasionally buy my crickets here when I had my beardie, priced on par with Petco. The iguana is worth a trip alone, I wish I could hold him. He's big and cool. Decent selection of dog and cat food, especially high-end. I like the broken dog treat specials, usually a dollar or two per bag. I often break them up at home anyway. read more

The first time I finally walked into All 4 Pets was on a Saturday - the day the Animal Express chugs around the store - and I wondered why it took me so long! Friendly, knowledgeable, and kind staff will help you navigate the large variety of healthy food options for your pups (also, cats, reptiles and small animals - although not my niche), supplements, toys, and, my dogs' favorites - treats! Bags of 1lbs broken biscuits are perfect for encouraging my fur babies to behave better while we stay at Nana/Papa's house! A young gentleman even helped me carry a large bag of dry food to my car, chatting along the way. A win, win, win - local, top quality products, and competitive pricing! read more

Wandered in because we wanted to look at the iguana. Stayed for the dog treats. We ended up buying some raw bones for our dogs as treats. We also bought a couple Bully sticks. All were very reasonably priced and excellent quality. Our dogs loved them! If we're in Santee and looking for pet products, we'll stop in again. Love that iguana. He's so skeptical! read more
