Cathy has taken care of my last two Labs. The last of which, a Choc Lab named Hannah, became a huge admirer of Cathy (she hates baths, her paws touched or (God forbid) nails clipped) & brushing). Because of her love for Cathy, she "allowed" her to do all these things. May not have loved it but allowed it simply because it was her other best friend that she always loved to see. She is wonderful with dogs....... read more

THEY SCREWED UP MY DOG SO BADLY!! she is cut SO short and looks so miserable after her appointment. They left a lot of random long hairs around her, and just overall did not do a great job. read more

My family and I absolutely adore Kathy at Bostone's! She always takes great care of our 6 senior dogs and they enjoy visiting with her and being bathed and groomed. We highly recommend! read more

Great work!! The owner is super nice and usually my dog is really scared of new people but she befriended him instantly and she said he was really friendytoo. Definitely recommend and will be coming back! read more

My senior pup (15) just got his first professional grooming from Kathy today, and I am so impressed. I had always done home haircuts because of price, but with his old age grooming isn't a positive experience for us anymore. Kathy did an amazing job and made my dog look and smell amazing. read more

Bostone's Doggy Shop - Harry after his first professional grooming at 15. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Santee, California

Love love love Kathy she is the bomb w both my hounds they absolutely adore her she treats them like her own!!

My dogs absolutely love Kathy! She's wonderful with all the different dogs we've taken in there over nearly 30 years I think everyone I've suggested they give their pets a try at Kathy's have been thrilled. She charges about half of what my daughter was paying in Del Mar and my daughter has a very, very difficult dog (picture 'springer rage' in a 23 lb Bichon') Every body's happy and I'm thrilled to have somebody like this so close to where we live in SanteeIf I could give her 10 stars I would! read more

My little girl won't go anywhere else! Kathy is the best. No Drama! My little girl comes out happy, adorable and always done just right! Thank you so much! read more

Kathy is awesome! My dog is really difficult but she has done amazing with her! I totally recommend this place!

I have 2 small pure-breed mutts and Kathy treats them like Royalty (Princess 1 and Princess 2). Yes, Baby and Catalina (Cati) are rescue dogs. We have been going to Kathy for over 15 years with passed and now dogs. Her prices are more then reasonable, but we stay with her because she shows her love for animals. She is very professional and treats you like her best friend. THANKS KATHY, YOUR THE BEST. read more

The lady works so hard to make sure your dog is comfortable and does a great job. I go for nail trims, and my dog is so calm!

Wow! I have a rescue pup who is afraid of EVERYONE, not Kathy, she happily went right to her. Both of my dogs loved her. They look great & the price was so affordable! We'll never go anywhere else again. read more

Our small dog hates her paws being touched. We took her here after a neighbors recommendation. It was fantastic. Quick and painless. We couldn't be happier. read more

Best in San Diego! Been taking our two dogs here for over 7 years, never had a problem. Kathy is very good with the dogs, she knows how to handle them well and she is kind...always exchanging kisses with the dogs. Her prices are good and you get good quality service. I've been to other places (when Kathy is booked weeks out) with higher prices and much less quality and love for my pups...other places don't show the love that Kathy does. Might add most of my family takes their dogs here as well. We've all had very positive experiences. She can be busy, so allow time for an appointment. read more

A friend recommended Bostone's about 3 years ago. We have 3 dogs -- one who has never really been friendly with groomers but ALL of them LOVE Bostone's. We are permanent customers! Great service, fantastic price! read more

Eight years since my original review. I continue to take my critters to Kathy at Bostone's Doggy Shop. She is still the best! I highly recommend her shop! read more

After getting turned away from another shop because they only take returning customers which i understand. I got Lucky and found Bostone's Doggy Shop. Lovely little lady took care of my Maltipoo. Just a Wonderful Experience. Thank You So Much. We will be coming back to You! read more

Cathy does such a good job on my dog bomber and her prices are SO LOW! $25 for a 60lb chow chow to get trimmed and groomed! Her shop is small but that means your pet is done faster! Please consider taking your pet here, she deserves your business! read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE... Dropped off my 3lb Maltese on Wednesday at 2pm to be groomed. I started to worry once 6:30 rolled around and I had yet to hear anything. When I drove over to check in I was greeted with "what are you doing here?" My little one was not finished four and a half hours after I dropped her off!!! How is that possible?! This "lady", and I use the term loosely, then began to handle my tiny dog so roughly right in front of my eyes that I had to tell her to STOP. SHE THEN THREW MY DOG AT ME! Are you serious? Her actions were completely unacceptable. I am still in shock that anyone could treat a defenseless animal in such a way in front of their owner. God only knows what she does behind closed doors. Please stay away if you value the health and safety of your pets. read more

I took my yorkie for his first real grooming experience to bostone's. I had my doubts at first that I would return and find myself with either an ugly or traumatized dog. When I returned, he was jumping around and was happily responding to anyone in the shop. He also looked very cute in his new bandana. This little shop is great for pets and anyone's wallet. read more

Love Kathy!!! I have been taking my 7 year old yorkiepoo to Kathy since she was about 4 months old. I bring her approx. every 2 months, for a bath and a trim around the feet, head and face. If she has any matting Kathy takes her time and brushs the matts out, not like some of the big chain stores that have a groom shop. I used to use one of those groom shop for my cockapoo and if they found one matt on him, out came the clippers and they would just shave him instead of taking the time to comb it out. Needless to say that I stopped taking him there 7 years ago, he now goes with his sister to Bostone's Doggy Groom Shop. Kathy is wonderful with my dogs and I wouldn't take them anywhere else. read more

I've been taking my dogs to Bostone's since 1996! This is the BEST groomer you can find. I found Kathy when I could not find another groomer brave enough to work with a Rottie. I called Bostone's, explained the problem I was having with a Rottie that had horrible itching and skin inflammation, and she told me to bring him in. She recommended an aloe vera bath and a oil treatment for his skin. Two visits helped clear this skin condition up that very expensive visits over the past 6 months to the vet's office, along with shots, pills, and dips could not. Every dog I have owned since has gone to Bostone's ONLY! read more

Cathy does such a good job and her prices are so affordable. I would definitely recommend her with everyone.

First time here. She did a fine job on my little dog. Every place else has always told me my dog is not a happy camper. But she told me she wasn't bad at all. I'll be back. read more

This place has been around as long as I can remember, and I have never had a bad experience. Their prices can't be beat, and they are kind to my old girl of 16 years (LadyBug).. I recommend Bostones to everyone... just be patient as they get a lot of business..... they are worth it! read more

She does a great job, wonderful with the dogs, and great prices. You have to leave a message and she will call you back, usually within a day. read more

This is a good little shop. It was my first time there but my dog seemed happy and we liked his haircut. The prices are reasonable. I actually paid a bit more because I thought they didn't charge enough. read more

I had read all of the reviews on here and thought I would try taking my dog here. It took this place 2 weeks to call me back about making an appointment! I obviously found another groomer in the meantime. Clearly this place is not interested in new business. read more

Cathy treats my little cockapoo with love and care. She does a great job and is extremely reasonable.

I have been taking my two shitzu's to Cathy for 3 years now. She is wonderful and loves the animals

For grooming we have taken all of our dogs to Bostone's for darn near 20 years. Cathy is a joy and all our dogs have just loved her. Call for an appointment, drop them off in the morning and pick them up fresh, groomed and happy that afternoon. Her prices are always reasonable and I love that she loves what she does. read more
