No attic, no basement, no roof to consider. My wife was certain the inspection would be done in under an hour. To our chagrin, Reid conducted the most thorough inspection we've ever experienced, using all kinds of gadgets to check for moisture/leaks behind the walls, radiation leaking from the microwave, etc. He left no stone unturned and took up almost the entire estimated three hours. He did find a builder defect/error in our electrical panel, but no other major issues, which was comforting to us given how comprehensive he was. He did not understand the unique nails at shingle above the gutters (they are epoxied ribbed nails). He also was creepy and took pictures of our interior and bedrooms. Upon delivery of the inspection, the owners hired licensed contractors in each field to come deal with all of the issues on the report that Vance had listed. 9 out of 10 items were NOT issues at all. As the owners continued to hire professionals to come in and deal with items on the list, they paid professionals to chase ghosts. I will do everything to AVOID using Building Specs Hawaii in the future. So awful
