Oscar did a great job with my condo inspection. I had scheduled two inspectors and Oscar had a sensitive high end FLIR which was able to detect potentially serious water damage from the condo above that another inspector was not able to pick up on with their FLIR. That alone makes it worth calling Oscar IMO. After the inspection was finished and he left, I asked him if he could come back and check a potential issue under the sink. He was close by and he came back and checked it was ok without charging anything extra. As mentioned elsewhere Oscar was friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and he provided a detailed inspection report with many pictures soon after he finished. His inspection report was much easier to read. There is a summary of all points on the first two pages which makes it easy to scan and see what issues there were without having to go through the entire report. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely recommend Inspect Hawaii when you need a property inspection done thoroughly. Oscar is detailed oriented and checked things in the house that I would have never thought to check, or that I would have been to lazy to actually test to see if things were working correctly. Oscar also brings solid technical background to the inspections, and was able to answer my questions regarding the electrical and plumbing. He walked us through the entire inspection that he had performed and with 12 hours we had an electronic copy of the report that we could review, complete with pictures from the inspection that he referred to during the walk thru portion. Oscar is awesome! He showed up early and met my realtor outside the property. Due to the pandemic he came with his mask on and remained socially distant. The inspection lasted no more than 1.5 hours and he was very thorough. When he completed his inspection he walked us through every step and showed us everything. Oscar is the best home inspector on Oahu. Very professional and informative. I set an appointment up via email with him and texted him to confirm the date. Oscar was very professional and did a very thorough inspection. We had Oscar do our home inspection for our first condo. He checked every last detail and even noticed some minor cracks in the tile. Most helpful was the inspection for water leaks and holes where pests can enter. He did find a few of these and we are so thankful because it would have been easy to miss. Oscar was able to complete our exam and get the following paperwork to us all in the same day, since he new we would be pressed for time to ask the seller to make some changes.
