I started going to this salon about a year ago. I wish I had gone earlier because my hair was a mess. It was damaged, full of split ends, and thinned out from a horrible hair dyeing experience. I did not feel confident at all until I met Celeste. She has done wonders with my hair and the difference is noticeable in thickness and texture and my hair finally looks healthy again. I'm leaving this on behalf of my best friend who I know is too sweet to leave this review. She called the salon needing help with a root touch up, and "Lety" told her she 100% had time today and to come on in. The moment she got in, my friend had told her that she wanted to go into the hair salon bc she herself was tired of doing it on her own because she didn't know what she was doing. She made that very clear to Lety, and this woman took advantage of Marilyn and took the easy way out to do her hair. She used 30 developer and applied it directly onto her scalp 2 times despite Marilyn telling her over and over again that her scalp and hair was FRAGILE. No foils or any kind of protection. She begged Lety to take it out bc it BURNING her and her response was "beauty is pain". So of course everything was patchy and orange. Instead of finishing the job with lower developer, she said she never had time for this appointment in the first place and kicked her out. What kind of licensed "hairstylist" thinks a bleaching to platinum is only going to take 2 hours? Later on I found out she was INCREDIBLY rude to Marilyn throughout the appointment and I didn't hear it bc I sat at the other end of the room. My best friends scalp is COVERED in blisters. COVERED, and she's been in pain ever since. I feel terrible leaving this review bc every single other person there was incredibly sweet and I'd trust them. However do NOT use Lety, I should have told Marilyn to walk right back out the door the moment I saw what LETY'S hair looked like. The blisters are so bad it's genuinely lawsuit worthy. The way Lety behaved was was appalling to me, which is crazy considering she's at least 30 years older than I am. It was a worse job than Marilyn had ever done at home, and I wished I realized the extent of it before we left. I think most people would hand Lety's ass to her after that experience. Looking at the other reviews, Cindy is far more talented so stick to her. read more

I went to Haven salon to get a hair cut and full highlights last week. Their website stated that these services would cost $270, and as a college student, this was my maximum budget. I made an appointment for these two services but when I was checking out after my hair was done, I was shocked when I was being charged $390 without tip! I was appalled. She had done a $120 toner to my hair without consulting me first. There was no point during my visit where she had told me (or asked) she was doing this to my hair, yet charged me an EXTRA $120 for my visit. When asking for my money back, I was offended when my hair stylist, Beatrice, blatantly lied to the owner about having a "consultation" (I had never had a consultation) where she had "told me" she would have to do a toner to my hair. In addition, she had lied about needing to do highlights for 5 inches of hair growth, when during my visit she explicitly stated she was working with 2 inches. I was never given my money back, and I feel robbed. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!!!! read more

This Salon is outstanding! Our family recently visited the area and I needed to get my three teenagers cuts. I also needed to get a highlight and haircut. Very risky to adventure to a new salon for this much. I did some research and found Haven. I called the week we were arriving feeling that it was probable they would not be able to accommodate all of us for the upcoming weekend. Brian could not have been nicer and more accommodating. He listened to my needs set up the appointments and followed up with a text with directions and a beautiful lunch spot recommendation as well. We left our appointments with 4 beautiful haircuts and 2 of us received highlights. My husband said it is the best my hair has looked in years! My girls saw Tanya and I saw Cindy the owner. I gave my wife a gift certificate for Christmas with Cindy the owner. All I can say is Wow!!! She looks 10 yrs. younger great job Cindy! I also go there for my hair cut. I've been seeing Shantal for several months the best cut I've ever had! Today I asked her if she could trim my goatee I walked in and she took care of me right away! This salon is absolutely wonderful! I went to Stacy Wallace for a full weave and cut and I have NEVER been so happy with my hair!! She brought my blonde from dull and brassy to warm and vibrant - and it's actually shiny and soft for the first time ever. I hate streaky/stripey blonde weaves but she made mine look so natural just like I was hoping for!She is an incredibly talented color specialist and I could not recommend her more. She also gave my hair the most perfect cut, it actually has style now and feels thick and healthy. Not to mention she is so sweet and fun to talk to.
