    Why buy a table?
    Jennifer C.

Bought a table for Blues Travelers. Band was great! However, people would just stand right in front of our chairs, completely blocking our view. Red-shirted Event staff did no enforcement of the "don't stand on this side of the cone" thing. Do not buy the table we did if you want to see!!!!!

I usually do not review, however this experience was way beyond my expectations... read on.... My friend and I caught the epic "Wailers 40th Anniversary of Legends album" show on a last minute ticket grab, Fri nite 6 Sep 2024! We enjoy supporting live music, been to hundreds of shows all across the ATX area for 15 annual Summer/Fall concert seasons and never experienced a show at Haute Spot until Friday nite! WOW! Absolutely blown away at the overall pleasurable ease of comfort & user friendly accessibility of this super fun, upscale and intriguingly intimate yet spacious venue! Online ticketing was easy, check in at venue was a breeze, streamlined, very pleasant. We were immediately impressed with the professional, courteous and welcoming staff and crew! Once "inside", the set up is visually pleasing & interesting... an effective blend of tree canopy/grassy landscaping, hightop tables/chairs, lowtop tables/chairs, lights, a striking balcony overlooking the well lit stage, a beautiful large bar, a cool rustic satellite beer/fireball bar and a nicely appointed merch stand... adirondack chairs, a few picnic tables, there are multiple seating options & price points... GA options too, so there is something for everyone! Feel free to bring a blanket!! Lots of standing room options as well! There was also an area in front and center of the stage for dancing and jamin! It was a great party and we had a blast! Acoustically, Haute Spot is fabulous! A 5star gem! From any location on the property you will experience awesome sound. In my working career, I've been employed at premier rock & music clubs & F&B industry in front and BOH in NYC. IMPO, there is no other live music outdoor venue of its size in the ATX/surrounding areas that acoustically or accessibly compare to Haute Spot, period. It's just that good. So, Stubbs, Mohawk, and the like... take a back seat to this primo venue! Drinks were competitively priced, and tasty!! Food was not ordered, although I spoke with other guests who enjoyed theirs! Ordering was easy with a QR code, Drink service was swift, the wait staff were friendly and helpful! Logistically, vehicle travel to Haute Spot is a breeze, with easy on & off access right off 183A. Their large FCFS complimentary Parking area was more than ample and much appreciated! A Hyatt Place hotel is conveniently situated near to venue for those who want to stay over nite! The best part of the entire experience... is that everyone could enjoy themselves and chill to their own vibe, however they chose to! Hence, my 5 star rating. We are stoked to return to Haute Spot, for Marshall Tucker in November and likely will be back in the coming weeks ahead, for another show if the creek don't rise! If you love live music, and feeling free and easy at a show, give your self & your soulspirit a lift of a gift and check out a show or ten at Haute Spot. You'll be glad you did!

First time being here because a friend wanted to go see this band. It's a nice venue Texas style with everything outdoors. They do have fans and misters to help cool off the heat. Staff was nice and helpful. Ladies be aware that the purse size needs to be small as they have a box it must fit in like how the airlines have with luggage. They check what you're bringing in and there's security. To get an upgrade to your ticket for a table, that is extra and there was a section to the right of the stage with tables that a few people were sitting at. I'm not sure the difference between those and the other tables which are also reserved with a special wristband other than a better view of the stage. We got there early and even though the upstairs was also reserved for the chairs and view away from the main front area to the stage, we just ate at the railing where there's a small ledge to put your drink and hang on to the food so it doesn't slip off. Then went down to the stage to get a closer look and watch the band. It's very casual atmosphere and the service was fast. I wouldn't recommend the margaritas from the spinning premade frozen machine. It was as if way too much salt was added and made it undrinkable. They did refund me for my but my friend likes salty things and it was okay for him. Maybe a beer or regular mixed drink would've been better. They do have free water in plastic cups available as well as bottled water for free that was in a trough at the entrance. The food choices are limited bar type food but it goes beyond snacks, so that's a bonus. The place is clean and well organized and there are areas to get away from the crowd if it gets too much.

Incredible outdoor venue in Cedar Park. Standing or sitting, all have a good view of the stage. Top notch sound. Good food and drink options Will be back soon!

No other venue in Williamson County even attempts to do what Haute Spot does. Haute Spot has a best in class sound system & acoustically engineering that makes it bar none the best place to music in all of Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, etc. As a former touring musician, the difference is obvious. Their attention to detail is only comparable to other big name premium venues around the country. There really is no comparison locally of a place to see live music. What a gift this venue is to Cedar Park. The atmosphere with the trees is comforting & beautiful. The food and drinks are great too.

This outdoor venue has plenty of space and free parking. Enjoy a concert in the hot Texas summer nights with misters and cold drinks to keep you in the mood to chill. The interior decor is impressive as well as bars and bathrooms situated around the property. Great venue to see a show!

Great place to see a concert. Not a bad "seat" in the place. Easy to access drinks and restrooms.

We were a table of 12, but that wasn't really the problem. One person who ordered, her food was given to someone else. When she inquired, she ordered again and it took over an hour to get her food. Her second beer never arrived. Unfortunately, she said this is the norm here. She comes here often, mainly for the entertainment. The server was quick to take our original orders, but follow up was zero. No attempts to get second drinks, any other food, nothing. It wasn't that busy, so I'm not sure why the service was so bad. I flagged him down for my second drink after waiting over an hour, and my friend was still waiting for her beer. It was like our table was in the ignore zone. I would come back again, but would probably order from the bar for drinks. 20% tip was included in the bill because of large party. I'm sure my friend was pissed about that considering her service was terrible. Mine was meh. Overall it was a great evening with friends. The good outweighed the bad, but don't expect great service. Enjoy the entertainment value here - Thats what makes this place special.

I had the opportunity to hit Rocking J Piano Bar and what a night it was! Rocking J is easy to find off the 183 and parking is plentiful, unlike the horrendous parking adventure downtown. The joint is located in a corner unit off Whitestone Blvd and extremely inviting. Music starts a little later at night and if you want a table you need to reserve one. I arrived at 7pm for the 8pm show and there were a few patrons upon arrival. The joint is clean without that beer-stained floor smell and the bartenders are cool and fast slinging suds. Prices aren't bad and all the people that I met were extremely cool, many different ethnicities were hanging out, while the age group was 30+ so it's not the college crowd. The attire ranged from men in tshirts, flip flops, I saw some "typical cowboy hats" and women in shorts and dresses, up to business casual. It's basically a "come as you are" mentality in a very relaxed atmosphere. Please note while they don't serve food, they do allow outside grub, just bring some for everyone, Also the bathrooms are decent not spectacular however you won't need to run down the street. The non-reserved tables are limited and as the show time creeps closer, they start to fill up but there was standing room. The crowd that was there was a pretty lively crew and seemed like pretty decent people. In the corner is a piano and on my night a drum kit. I can't remember the pianist / singer's name but he was really good while the drummer acted as backup, basically enhancing the songs with a steady beat. The guy could flat out sing and I swear I couldn't stump him with my diverse requests. Among the songs were The Cure - Love Song, Alice in Chains - The Rooster, Jimmy Buffet - Margaritaville, Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. Perhaps the jingle from Sesame Street would have stumped him, but I didn't consider it at the time. Overall, the place feels safe with "good folk" who all just want to have a good time. The staff is friendly and fast and the prices fair. I will definitely be back and hope to see you there!

Located off Anderson Mill in the corner of a strip mall is a bookshelf with a door on the right side. If you cannot figure out the entrance, there is a doorbell to ring as well. My friend and I sat next to a faux fireplace, where we were greeted by the only bartender working and placed our order. Once he opened the tab, it was disappointing that he never came back to check if we wanted another drink. It wasn't super busy on the Monday we went, but since he was the only one manning the bar, the bartender was always doing something, so I don't blame him fully for not checking back in with us. I ordered a drink called the Velvet Vice. It looked nothing like the picture and tasted similar to an Aviation cocktail with egg whites. I happened to really like it. It is a very relaxed space, but once the speakeasy gimmick wears off, it does not have much else going for it. It is still a cool place, but I am not sure it was worth the lengthy drive to get there. It includes two tickets in a semi private area, a parking pass, two alcoholic drinks each, unlimited non alcoholic beverages, and a full buffet. The view was unobstructed and excellent. There is an elevator that takes you directly to the correct level, which makes access easy. The bathrooms were clean, close by, and had no lines. The dedicated area for food and drinks meant we avoided the long bar lines, which was a big plus. The buffet included salad, vegetables, mashed potatoes, chicken, carved beef, rolls, and desserts. The line moved quickly and the food was enjoyable. The Good While the food was solid, the seating area does not include tables to place your food or drinks. The seats did not appear to be larger than standard seating and there is no additional legroom. (I'm 5'10") That was a bit surprising for a premium package. Although the view was unobstructed, the venue could benefit from additional jumbo screens placed around the arena. The main screen could also be zoomed in more to enhance the experience. The Bad The sound quality was the most disappointing part of the night. The music was too loud and at times you could not hear the artists clearly. Both Anthony Hamilton and Fantasia are powerhouse vocalists who do not need heavy production. Instead of clear, crisp voice isolation, they sounded muffled. After multiple audience complaints, the sound improved, but it was distracting and took away from the experience. The package also advertised dedicated guest services and event staff support. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. We could not find anyone to help us locate our seats or answer questions. The only visible staff were those managing the buffet and the check in area. For a premium experience, that was frustrating. Overall Despite the issues, I had a great time with my friend and we truly enjoyed the concert. I would consider using the All In Premium Loge Package again, but with adjusted expectations. Tips * Avoid the main entrance and use a secondary entrance for quicker entry. * If you do not have a bag, use the express line. (We had small clear bags and were allowed to use th express lane) * Download your tickets to your wallet before you get to the event. * The highway exit for the event can feel chaotic with heavy traffic and aggressive drivers. Consider driving past the first entrance and heading to the second exit. * Take your time after the event to avoid the traffic jam. All in all, it was a fun night. With a few operational improvements, especially around sound quality and guest services, the experience could move from good to great.

You could say that, any of the beers in the cooler can be consumed on-site; there's picnic tables both inside and outside and there's bar type games: pinball, foosball, darts that you can play while you hang out and drink. They don't have a kitchen but there's always a food truck right outside or you can bring your own in. I've never been for bingo or comedy nights or anything like that. I come for the brews, chill out and eat good food; it's kind of like being in someone's rec room but with way more beer. My only real knock is the corkage fee, if you're going to drink on-site they do charge $2 bucks per, which doesn't seem like much but it adds up.

There was a couple that were teaching people how to two-step. I would love to come back and learn the proper way. The bartender was absolutely awesome! The drinks were perfectly crafted. This is a fun place to hang out on Friday night. Definitely not a pick up bar, so it was very comfortable to be there with my girlfriends and just dance.
