I absolutely love live music and regularly attend shows at venues across the country. I've experienced outstanding performances in spaces of all sizes, and it's genuinely a joy to have a venue like this in the Cedar Park area. That said, the volume here is simply too loud. The acoustic design of the building seems to trap and amplify extremely high decibel levels, making the sound piercing rather than enjoyable. I made a real effort to find a spot where I could clearly hear the music without discomfort, but the only tolerable area was inside. The bands, stage setup, lighting, and seating arrangements are all excellent. The talent on stage deserves to be fully enjoyed. Unfortunately, the excessive volume makes it difficult to dance, relax, or appreciate the music--especially given the relatively small size of the venue. At times, the sound level feels more appropriate for a massive outdoor amphitheater than a space like this. The speaker towers themselves appear to be positioned fine; the issue seems to be overall volume and acoustics rather than equipment placement. I strongly encourage the venue to conduct a thorough review of the acoustics and sound levels. With some adjustment, this could be an outstanding live music experience. read more

Great venue, great service, great food, great drinks which both the food and drinks are reasonably priced. So why minus two stars ?? Glad you asked. Arrived at 6 PM for the cover band Red Not Chili Peppers. Sat for two hours before the cover band started. They ended up starting early and had to play two sets as the opening band didn't show. Not the venues fault, but minus two stars as something could have been announced every thirty minutes as to what the plan was for the evening instead of just sitting there wondering what's going on. As for the cover band, they were good but not as good as expected. We got stage side seats for an upcoming AC-DC cover band. Looking forward to some great service, food, drinks, and hopefully this cover band will rock the house !!!! read more

This place sucks. I only go there if there is a band I REALLY want to see. No draft beer is not acceptable for a concert venue. If you don't buy a table they treat you like a second class citizen, always telling you to move. It's really annoying. Parking lot in back is not paved so if it's raining you have a muddy car when you leave. I'm glad they don't have a lot of bands I like. read more

This is an awesome venue to hear high quality bands! Have heard 2 different cover bands (a Led Zeppelin and a Fleetwood Mac)-and they were wonderful. It is a great outdoor venue (lots of trees, and cover if you want it). Every seat is good. A real Austin feel, even tho you are in Cedar Park:) Plenty of parking. Easy in, easy out. Great acoustics. Not sure where to start. An amazing outdoor venue. Clean, safe and professional. We had a table on the right side and thought it was perfect with very little foot traffic and a clear view of the stage. Drinks were very fairly priced. Order on app. And everything is delivered to your table. FOOD... this is a big one for me... One of the best hamburgers I have had. An easy top 10. Fresh, hot, juicy and fast. 2 burgers and fries. $34.00... Sorry I didn't get a picture... 2 hotel in a very easy walking distance. Across the street. First time being here because a friend wanted to go see this band. It's a nice venue Texas style with everything outdoors. They do have fans and misters to help cool off the heat. Staff was nice and helpful. Ladies be aware that the purse size needs to be small as they have a box it must fit in like how the airlines have with luggage. They check what you're bringing in and there's security. To get an upgrade to your ticket for a table, that is extra and there was a section to the right of the stage with tables that a few people were sitting at. I'm not sure the difference between those and the other tables which are also reserved with a special wristband other than a better view of the stage. We got there early and even though the upstairs was also reserved for the chairs and view away from the main front area to the stage, we just ate at the railing where there's a small ledge to put your drink and hang on to the food so it doesn't slip off. Then went down to the stage to get a closer look and watch the band. It's very casual atmosphere and the service was fast. I wouldn't recommend the margaritas from the spinning premade frozen machine. It was as if way too much salt was added and made it undrinkable. They did refund me for my but my friend likes salty things and it was okay for him. Maybe a beer or regular mixed drink would've been better. They do have free water in plastic cups available as well as bottled water for free that was in a trough at the entrance. The food choices are limited bar type food but it goes beyond snacks, so that's a bonus. The place is clean and well organized and there are areas to get away from the crowd if it gets too much. read more

My friend and I caught the epic "Wailers 40th Anniversary of Legends album" show on a last minute ticket grab, Fri nite 6 Sep 2024! We enjoy supporting live music, been to hundreds of shows all across the ATX area for 15 annual Summer/Fall concert seasons and never experienced a show at Haute Spot until Friday nite! WOW! Absolutely blown away at the overall pleasurable ease of comfort & user friendly accessibility of this super fun, upscale and intriguingly intimate yet spacious venue! Online ticketing was easy, check in at venue was a breeze, streamlined, very pleasant. We were immediately impressed with the professional, courteous and welcoming staff and crew! Once "inside", the set up is visually pleasing & interesting... an effective blend of tree canopy/grassy landscaping, hightop tables/chairs, lowtop tables/chairs, lights, a striking balcony overlooking the well lit stage, a beautiful large bar, a cool rustic satellite beer/fireball bar and a nicely appointed merch stand... adirondack chairs, a few picnic tables, there are multiple seating options & price points... GA options too, so there is something for everyone! Feel free to bring a blanket!! Lots of standing room options as well! There was also an area in front and center of the stage for dancing and jamin! It was a great party and we had a blast! Acoustically, Haute Spot is fabulous! A 5star gem! From any location on the property you will experience awesome sound. In my working career, I've been employed at premier rock & music clubs & F&B industry in front and BOH in NYC. IMPO, there is no other live music outdoor venue of its size in the ATX/surrounding areas that acoustically or accessibly compare to Haute Spot, period. It's just that good. So, Stubbs, Mohawk, and the like... take a back seat to this primo venue! Drinks were competitively priced, and tasty!! Food was not ordered, although I spoke with other guests who enjoyed theirs! Ordering was easy with a QR code, Drink service was swift, the wait staff were friendly and helpful! Logistically, vehicle travel to Haute Spot is a breeze, with easy on & off access right off 183A. Their large FCFS complimentary Parking area was more than ample and much appreciated! A Hyatt Place hotel is conveniently situated near to venue for those who want to stay over nite! The best part of the entire experience... is that everyone could enjoy themselves and chill to their own vibe, however they chose to! Hence, my 5 star rating. We are stoked to return to Haute Spot, for Marshall Tucker in November and likely will be back in the coming weeks ahead, for another show if the creek don't rise! I have seen many concerts here and I have to say that the Haute Spot might be the best concert venue in the Austin area. The Haute Spot holds about 400 comfortablly, not a bad a seat or standing area in the venue. Granted, its not a big venue, but whomever laid the floor plan out, did it right. We had a good time here but be prepared to pay venue pricing for drinks and food. Our cherry limeade cocktails were $14 each and a white claw can was $9. Food started at $10 and was okay but definitely something you could probably make at home before you came. Venue is great. Stage is outdoors and inside there is a bar and several rooms that appear to be dining or merch areas but we're not serving that function when we were there. Restrooms are clean - there is one inside the main building and one in a separate building (both have AC, touch faucets and paper towels). There are many fans, swamp coolers and misters to keep you cool during the heat. I haven't been during the winter to speak of how they accommodate the weather change. My biggest beef is they do not allow re-entry and parking is a little confusing. So if you have to leave for any reason be prepared to repay ticket fees or be denied re-entry. *Edited to add that seating is very confusing. There were several sections marked as "Reserved" but we sat at them (because there was nothing else available) and we never were interrupted for sitting there. Not sure if they allow you to bring your own chairs but highly recommend securing seating ahead of time if you can. read more

As "older" rockers, it's also nice that they have a mister system that is so needed here in Texas! We love live music and have literally have been to 100+ concerts over the years. Remember The Backyard music venue out in Beecave? The Haute Spot is similar, like The Backyard had a child who grew up and moved north of town. It's a bit of a hike out for us south Austin folks, but they host live music on a raised outdoor stage each weekend, with seating and standing room only options, and it feels great so far. The venue has ample parking with attendants to guide people to park in an organized manner. Entry involves a line and a detector wand and bag search, and there are limits on what you can bring, so check the website first. They have fully equipped bars with outdoor access and an indoor restaurant, but you can also bring your food back outside. Fare is mainly sandwiches, BBQ, and bar food. Drinks are fairly poured and bartenders are efficient. The stage is set up well with pro lighting and sound. We saw the legendary Arc Angels with Madam Radar opening, and it was a full house in attendance who spent a lot of time on their feet. Most of the artists they currently have on their events list are new to me, but you may recognize some, especially if you're a country music fan. Tickets are available online and it's highly suggested to buy them in advance, since the Haute Spot is getting hotter and could sell out. Worth the drive to check them out. read more

I've been here twice recently. The first time I was early so easy parking/entry. First row seat with table service. It's a teeny table in the aisle so awkward to get back out for a potty break. I didn't eat but the table next to me tried everything. They were not impressed with the food or the size of the drink they paid too much for. Weather was good (outside venue-rain or shine) Sound system is good but lights are set to hit your eyeballs and that's so painful to me so second trip I sat further back but same problem. Second visit was cold and wet and pretty miserable. Tables at the back had heaters but I was front and center so the only heat I could get was from the people around me. The parking is well organized and the bathroom is clean and stocked. The staff was very friendly. read more

Came here to see a yacht rock cover band and had a blast! In my opinion, it's the best outdoor music venue in the Austin area. The venue is beautiful with nice, clean restrooms, fans and misters, and plenty free seating options. They also have standing tables. Of course you can purchase tickets for reserved seating near the stage but I found that not to be necessary. They have plenty of tables available to general admission where you can scan a QR code to order food and drinks. They don't allow you to bring chairs but you can bring a blanket. Parking is abundant and free! Drink prices were not ridiculous, my piña colada was $13 which is about what cocktails cost everywhere. I highly recommended seeing live music here. read more
