To make matters worse if you call to get your prescription they claim they don't have access to email but can fax it! Not sure who has a fax machine sitting at home in 2024. Obviously their intention is to have you come back to pick up this free contact sample two weeks later so they can sell you contacts. AND if you call their office you're greeted by Jasmine who obviously isn't experienced with helping customers, talks over you and is outright rude! And she's apparently their office manager. I've NEVER been to an eye Dr in which they hold your prescription hostage! Don't trust this place and go somewhere else around the area. My radar should have gone off when I was in the office for my check up and Jasmine was bullying this older woman. Making it seem like any question she had was an inconvenience and treating her like a criminal. The older woman was just asking why the glasses were so expensive and what she could do to get the price down. I wanted to earn everyone that this is not your place. I've lived here for 20+ years and never had this experience with any other eye dr. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

As a new patient, I would have appreciated if things were explained more clearly. I never asked for a contact lens fitting, but they assumed I did without confirming. I also thought my appointment included a comprehensive exam with retinal imaging and dilation, but I was later told that would cost extra. Dr. Patel mentioned that I have a bit of astigmatism but didn't explain what that means. I was fitted contacts but was not explained to me that I would have dailys again and was not asked which one I would prefer, they just assumed. When I ask a question about it I felt so rushed about things and like my questions were not making sense to them. So I stopped asking more. The whole staff was courteous and professional; however, Dr. Weinstein (the Optimetrist) and Sylvia (the Optician) truly stood out. Dr. Weinstein took extra time and caution to do a complete exam including a skilled slit lamp one as there were a few surprising findings in my vision. She also proved to have a deeper knowledge of retinal pigmented lesions than any Optometrist I've encountered before. Sylvia pushed me to try more frames than I typically would have, if anything trying to downsale me on some, and provided (excellent) advice not solely on the looks of the frame but also the most detailed fit advice for frames that I've had (and I had good opticians before). All of this extra care from their team happened without making me feel rushed in any way, although we were getting perilously close to their closing time. A++ service for both eye health and optics!

They had to make the letters as large as possible and he still couldn't read out of that eye. I asked him and he said that eye has been blurry for a year (yes, I was upset that he had not told me) - he said he just "got used to it." Turns out his lens axis was FLIPPED!!! Completely wrong. This had happened once before with Visionworks but we caught it after a couple days because he kept complaining something was wrong. As for the doctors I defiantly have enjoyed Dr. Rose over the years. Out of the two he is my preferred as I found him to be very professional and a pleasure to work with. Even if you don't have specific vision insurance my blue cross blue shield has given me discounts or covers the exam. The selection of frames they have available is nice although not gigantic. Overall I have no complaints and Dr Rose himself gets a 5-star review.

I visited a few highly rated establishments, and decided on 730 North. I was glad I did, because it was the best experience I have ever had with my vision. Really nice people that take their time to get it right and listen to my concerns. My first experience was great but something was off with one of the lenses. They ordered a replacement and honestly after that I had the best vision I ever remember having. I just recently upgraded again and my experience was once again terrific. Not the cheapest, but in my opinion the best value.

I am appalled by the way the Store manager…read moreBridget handled my concern of being charged for a contact lense exam and fitting in addition to the eye exam which was the only exam I came in for. I was even asked again at the point of my exam day if I wanted contacts and I specifically told the lady helping me no, just the eye exam. After reviewing my receipt and seeing that I was charged for both and was submitted to my insurance I asked her to refund this from my order and also my insurance benefit. Bridget's response was not only unfriendly and rude throughout this transaction but what she said in response rather than doing as I asked was horrible. She proceeded to admit they made a mistake but then went on to justify it by saying "WELL YOUR INSURANCE COVERED IT"). Not only did she say this in response to requesting for the correction the first time, she then proceeded to say this again when my response was to again correct the error the second time by telling her I did not get, nor did I request this service and regardless if the insurance covered it, this is not a benefit I elected to use of my insurance. This is not ok in any way, shape, or form for any employee let alone a manager to be addressing an issue of this type with any customer. In addition to this after asking her if she can confirm that the benefit was corrected with my insurance she indicated very rudely that this is not something she can do and that it takes however long it takes. This is an end of year claim naturally time is of the essence. I reached out to my insurance company while there in the store to confirm this myself and was told that this was in-fact something the manager should have submitted to them to correct the claim benefit in which the insurance representative observed how unwilling to help Bridget was to correct this over the phone with me that she requested I hand my phone to the manager to get her to correct what she indicated was actually her responsibility to handle. Bridget was just as rude with her on the phone as with me in which she began asking her for her name to report this behavior and she did not want to comply. Finally Bridget ended up completing the correction for this in the computer never apologizing for anything at all and maintaining the rudest attitude the entire time. After finally correcting this issue I then proceeded to address the second reason for my return visit, which was to address the cost of my one pair of glasses that I purchased. The frame cost was ($220) and the lenses cost was ($1798) with insurance applied reducing this total cost to ($1200). Which is still an astronomical price to pay for any glasses with insurance benefits I might add. While during the selection of the frames and fitting I inquired why was the cost so high? In which I was told my prescription is a heavy prescription and that I also chose the wider view progressive lens option known as Physio lenses with blue light and the thinnest option for the lenses that was the reason why it was so high. I thought well, maybe my eyes were that bad, and proceeded to pay for my $1200 pair of glasses. Unbeknown to me that this was an utter price gouging rip off that I thought was explained through being led to believe this was due to my prescription magnatute and type. All of which is completely untrue. After arriving home that night the cost I paid did not sit well with me and I began to search all competitors. Only to find ALL of them offered the same exact options in lenses and frames for a fraction of the cost ranging from $337-$557. I then went onto Lenscrafters site and selected the same which showed $771 for the exact same pair I purchased. When I asked Bridget if she could explain this to me after showing her the company's own pricing she said it didn't include the phisio option which was $300 more. Unable to confirm this with her and based on the way I was treated throughout this encounter in addition to the insane mark up I was charged, I cancelled my order completely. I will never go back there again! What is being done there is appalling, whether it be an accidental mistake made on their behalf, deliberate gouging, and potentially even insurance fraud. Anyone willing to take a gamble to visit this location please check your receipts closely and follow up on pricing. I ended up going to another vision center that wouldn't you know offered the exact same progressive wide range lenses as the physio lenses with all of the exact same options as I selected at Lenscrafters and paid $398 all said and done. I was able to purchase a complete additional pair for still less than what Lenscrafters charged me for. Two pairs $680. In regards to Bridget and the way she treated me and the insurance representative, it is my opinion that Bridget does not belong in customer service at all and this was completely unacceptable behavior. You have lost a customer indefinitely.

There is plenty of parking since it is located in the Woodland Commons Shopping Mall. Her staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. The check-in process was swift and simple. She was thorough with my eye exam and took the time to answer my questions. They carry a variety of brands of frames and the staff was helpful in assisting me in finding the exact frame I want. I was very happy with the service and experience. I am truly appalled by some of the low rating reviews. Eye exams and eyewear can be costly especially with add-ons and features. I don't think it's fair to give a one-star review or complain about the experience because of the cost.
