That company offered me things I didn't need (saying I did), up selling and apparently not honest about leaf guards. HC Gutter seemed to know a lot more about installation and answered many questions I had. Installation went flawless. Cost was much better priced for what seemed to be a much better product and installation. Haven't had a big rain for testing the rain gutter system yet but will update if there is a problem. Raul said that if there is a problem to text him immediately. One note; Raul forgot to text me when he was on his way. I missed his arrival. He apologized and next time I received a text promptly. We did get quotes from other vendors but ultimately chose Professional Drainage Experts based on the customer service and willingness to work to find a solution for our property that was in budget. We were able to get a full system added to the property in 3.5 days. Julio and his team were great! They were promptly on time each morning. Cleaned up after themselves. Even hosed down the driveway, stucco, and walkways afterwards. After everything was installed, Julio walked us around the property and explained all of the elements of our new system. Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. I had a problem on one side of my house the gutter keep coming off. He came out and gave an…read moreestimate double my neighbors because I needed to have my gutters all redone so they can drain. He then "re angled" the half round gutters to drain. 5 months latter same gutter came off the side of the house worse then before. I contacted him and one of the 1st comments was you can't angle half rounds. He didn't offer to come rehang the gutter he offered nothing. I expressed a lot of disappointment around this. I got a different contractor to come out. Their is no damage to the existing structure the gutter is not faulty. The contractor assessed what was previously repaired. Ribbed nails were put back into the preexisting holes. No additional fasteners or attachments were done. So no realignment if you go back into the same holes. The nails are less likely to be successful if driven into an already existing hole. Maybe this was an off day for him.
