Our party of 3 all had different wines, I had a Cabernet and it was one of the most delicious wines I've had in recent memory. I also tried a sparkling wine my wife was having and the essence of almond made it even better. In addition the setting outside was very relaxing. They have some oak casks in a display surrounded by flowers and grasses, so you are surrounded by nature along with music that enhances the atmosphere. Our server did a great job taking care of us. However, I was surprised that there weren't any plain crackers, bread, or even pretzels available to cleanse our palates between tastings. After sampling several wines, the flavors begin to blend together, making it difficult to fully appreciate each wine on its own. I understand not every winery provides palate cleansers, but many do, and it's a simple touch that really enhances the tasting experience. Even plain crackers or slices of bread would make a noticeable difference. Despite that, we enjoyed the wines enough that we joined the wine club and spent over $400 on wine before leaving. That alone should show how much we liked what Stone's Throw has to offer. Because of that, I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit it's intended--not as criticism for the sake of criticizing, but as a suggestion from customers who supported the winery and would love to see an already enjoyable experience become even better.

I loved Bridge Up Brewing even before I tasted their beer. This is a little local Wisconsin brewery located on the basement-level of the building that houses Sonny's Italian Kitchen. When you walk into the lobby, instead of walking up the steps to Sonny's, take the ramp down below to Bridge Up and enjoy a beer or a flight of beers. They have a small menu of appetizers, mostly wings and fried things, but if you want a full meal, you should probably go upstairs to Sonny's. I didn't want a full meal, so I stayed at Bridge Up and ordered a flight of beers. One of them was a sour (I love sours), and the others were some of the more popular beer flavors. I picked the U-Pick, which is a flavored with Door County cherries, and was one of my favorites. The others were the higher ABV beers: Flip Flops and Bikini Tops (an imperial IPA) and Stubborn Sturgeon (a New England hazy IPA). I loved all of the beers I chose, but the cherry-flavored U-Pick was my favorite. When in Door County, always choose the cherry-flavored thing! If Bridge Up has U-Pick available when you visit, I highly suggest trying it. The people who work here are very friendly but also stay out of your way, which I appreciated. They encourage you to play something on the jukebox, so go ahead and put on your favorite songs.
