We were so relieved to find that Bayside Tavern serves food daily from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm, even though the tavern itself stays open until 2:00 am! Since it was only about 4 minutes from our condo, we suddenly had plenty of time to settle in before heading out for dinner. Bayside Tavern is family-owned and looks like the kind of small-town tavern I've seen on TV and in movies. There's even a jukebox playing music, which adds to the atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and nice. She seemed to be taking care of the entire tavern herself! Our daughter and I each ordered a lemonade ($7 total), while my husband ordered a Billy's Bayside Beer ($7). Unfortunately, the lemonade was rather watered down and didn't have much flavor. Their hand-pattied, 1/3-pound burgers come with pickles and potato chips. Since we were pretty hungry, I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with a substitution of sweet potato fries ($15.95 + $5 = $20.95). I am so grateful that Bayside Tavern stays open late and serves good food! It was our very first meal in Fish Creek, and it was such a relief to find a welcoming place to eat after our long drive. What a great way to start our Door County trip!
