Fun atmosphere, friendly and attentive service in the bar, great location and proximity to T-mobile Park. Stopped in here for a bite and bev before the gates opened across the street. We were able to snag 3 seats at the bar and had attentive and efficient service. Tip- apparently only the high seats are considered drop in bar seating. When we inquired with the host, they didn't clarify this, just said there's seats and it wraps around to the back. We walked in and sat at a 4 top but since it wasn't a high bar, we were asked to move. Full bev selection. The prosecco wasn't on the menu but they had a bottle of Chloe ready to pour. In town on business one of the rare occasions I could bring my wife. We met one of her coworkers here. My first thing was we wanted to park For 2 hours. The lot at the restaurant said $5 an hour, ok but then the minimum is 12 hours, ouch $60 right off the bat. Then out of any dark beer, really no beer delivered on Monday? Plus they brew their own. The server was not too helpful and seemed shocked my wife wanted a sample. Service was slow our server was more interested in talking to one of the other servers. We got a pizza someone else brought it. We didn't have plates our server was mia there was a lady bussing tables we got Some from her. The food was good. I would never go back there if I had to park in their lot again. THANKS TO THE OWNER FOR REACHING OUT. It was one and done for us. We had two days in town before a conference in Redmond. We weren't looking for anything out of the review. Perhaps training servers that diners pay their check. I usually let some server inadequacy slide, but from start to finish we were in my opinion an inconvenience, that kept her from talking to a male server. read more

Went for lunch mid week. Wasn't very busy and we had good attentive service. Cocktails were well done and balanced. Had a cozy feel in a high backed booth towards the back. Lots of large TVs but not too loud. Had fish and chips and companion had Chicken sandwich. Both decent portions. The batter on the fish was good and light. The fish itself was very mushy so guessing it was overcooked at some point. read more

Wow! Visiting for a concert and ballgame, staying at the Silver Cloud across the street. Walked over to this place and 10 minutes later walked out. Not busy at all, sat at the bar where only 2 other people were seated. The bartender said "need a menu?". Her attitude was immediately suspect. In the next 10 minutes, she was doing nothing as the restaurant was very slow, walking back and forth down the bar, never making eye contact or asking us what we would like to drink. We left the bar and asked the hostess to speak with the manager. She left, came back and said she would be right out. Needless to say, she never showed after a full 5 minutes ( again, the place was dead ) and we left. Note to owner, you got a problem on your hands, of course maybe it's you! read more

We came here before an event and were really glad we did. The service was fast, especially considering they ended up getting slammed and we had no idea it was going to be that busy. All of our food was good, and our server was super friendly. The only downside was that the nachos were pretty small and not really shareable. Overall, we'd definitely go back! read more

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, we felt unwelcome. One of the hostesses completely ignored us while greeting and helping other guests. Things only got better when Zack, the bartender, took care of us. He was the only employee who treated us with kindness, respect, and professionalism. Thank you, Zack, for making at least part of our visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff made us feel like we didn't belong. To make matters worse, one of the servers implied that my husband was trying to steal a salt shaker. We had spent over $500, not including the tip, and being treated with that level of suspicion was humiliating and offensive. As Latinos, we couldn't help but feel that we were being treated differently because of our ethnicity. No customer should ever leave a restaurant feeling judged or profiled instead of welcomed. We won't be returning, and I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and ensures that every guest is treated with the same respect, regardless of their background. read more

Had an event here and never quite realize how big the place is. Inside absolutely beautiful. And expansive. Gorgeous bar and really kind people. Had dish and chicken and both were really good. Spent the day in the city and tried out this bar and grille. It's across from the stadium but it wasn't a game day, so it wasn't very busy. Our bar serves were amazing and friendly. We enjoyed watching the US Soccer team win. We order two Rainer beers bc it was a hot day and I ordered the three carnitas tacos. Came here for some pregame drinks and despite the expectations - crowds, slightly higher prices that come with it, it was pretty good. On any day where a game or event is happening at the stadiums there is bound to be a crowd here, double that if it's warm out and the nearby Victory Hall yard/biergarten is open. Because of that I like how if you have a preference of seating (which includes indoor/outdoor, tables, counters) they will take your number and text you when it's ready. So that's what we did, wanting to be outside. In the meantime we sat at the counter, and this was good, bartenders were pretty attentive and had 3, to keep up with the demand of customers. About 20 minutes we were able to move outside. Beers are definitely cheaper here, so it's a given to have couple before game time. My buddy wanted an "Ultimate pretzel" and got one to share. Think of an Auntie Anne's/Wetzel's pretzel but it comes withmétier beer mustard and Beecher's cheese dip which is cool. Again, if you're coming to a game or event here, I'd recommend and I'd come back myself. read more

I can only speak for the pizza since that's all I've had. It's too good for me to want to try something else. In particular I had the Diavolo pizza. Topped with Crushed Uli's hot sausage, soppressatta, mama Lil's peppers, mozzarella, and basil. Try it! The flavor will have you coming back for more! It has a nice little spicy kick to it as well. Stopped in on 6/26/25 and the place was PACKED. We didn't even have seats at first, but Jeremy helped us immediately on the patio, with a smile. Our food came out quick, hot, and perfect! Absolutely love Hatback Bar & Grille! I also love that they are partnered with Metier Brewing, as it's one of my favorite local breweries. They have several of their beers on tap and some of the menu items also use the beer in their recipes which is super cool. The actual restaurant has a fun laid back vibe that makes this the perfect spot to pregame nearby events or games. You can also order from Steelheads Alley and sit in that space instead which is also a fun atmosphere. I went with the Hatback Burger which is basically their rendition of a classic cheeseburger. It comes with painted hills beef double patty, Beecher's Cheese, tomato-bacon jam, pickles bibb lettuce, on a kaiser roll. The burger was cooked perfectly and I liked the tomato bacon jam a lot more than I thought I would. The sea salt fries are also really tasty. Definitely one of my favorite spots to stop in before a Mariners game and I'm sure I'll be back once the season kicks off again! read more

I came here for lunch after a work meeting. I would say it was an ok experience overall. The burger was ok. It probably wont make the best burgers in Seattle list but they are probably not going for that. The ambience is good with big TVs and lots of seating. The service was good. I just thought the food and drinks were on the expensive side for what you get. read more
