HIT-AND-RUN INVOLVING A CELLINO PLUMBING COMPANY VAN…read more
On September 18, 2026, a Cellino Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric company van sideswiped my car and left the scene. The responding Buffalo Police officer classified the incident as a HIT- AND-RUN.
Cellino Plumbing later identified the driver and the company vehicle. My car has visible paint transfer consistent with the van, repairs are estimated to cost thousands of dollars, and I was told the damage to the company's vehicle was consistent with the collision.
Nearly a month later, my car remains unrepaired, the insurance claim is still unresolved, and the driver still denies hitting my car and leaving the scene, despite the Buffalo Police Department classifying the incident as a HIT-AND-RUN from Cellino Plumbing.
And on Cellino's end? Dead silence. Denial from their employee. Absolutely no urgency to help resolve this.
I am the one paying the price: thousands of dollars of damage to the left side of my car, missed work, countless Uber rides out of my own pocket, and no use of my vehicle.
Meanwhile, I am left chasing answers and trying to resolve the financial and practical fallout of a collision involving one of the company's own vehicles and employees.
I expected more from a company with Cellino Plumbing's reputation in Buffalo. A company's reputation is tested when something goes wrong and it has an opportunity to take ownership AND resolve the situation. Instead, I have been met with denial, deflection, and a frustrating lack of accountability.
It is DEEPLY DISTURBING and, in my view, ETHICALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Rather than working toward a resolution, the experience with Cellino Plumbing has left me feeling that responsibility is being avoided at ALL COSTS. This is not the standard of professionalism I expected.
When a company vehicle is involved in an incident that police classify as a hit-and-run, and the employee continues to deny any involvement while still remaining to work there, customers should pay attention to how the company responds.
This isn't just about the damage to my car anymore. It's about how Cellino Plumbing handles a serious incident involving one of its own employees and what that says about its standards of accountability and level of trust one can have in them.
If this is how Cellino Plumbing handles a situation involving one of its own vehicles and employees, I believe prospective customers should think carefully about whom they choose to trust in their homes.
Trust is about more than the work a company promises to deliver; it is also about its conduct when something goes wrong.
After this experience, I have serious reservations about allowing Cellino Plumbing into my home or recommending its services to others. Customers deserve to know how a company has handled a real situation involving its own employee who committed a HIT AND RUN, and the consequences another person has been left to manage.
I am the one left without a car, missing work, paying out of pocket for transportation, having to advocate for myself while trying to get this situation resolved, all while watching Cellino Plumbing continue to market itself as a trusted, reputable company.
The disconnect between the image this company promotes and the way it responds when something goes wrong is deeply disturbing. The Buffalo community deserves to know how this company handles a situation this serious.
Based on my experience, I would NEVER trust Cellino Plumbing in my home or recommend this company to anyone who values integrity, accountability, and basic professional decency.
