I would say 3.5 stars. Came here for dinner last night and I thought this would be a healthy choice. Poke is pretty clean. The fish is just protein and you have some grains and vegetables. I ordered the large bowl because I wanted more fish. My base was brown rice and mixed greens. I got salmon, hamachi, and tuna. My sides were macaroni salad and crab salad. The fish tasted fresh and the sauce they tossed it in was good too. I wish they put some more sauce because it was a little dried up after mixing everything together. I added some avocado because I enjoy avocado but it was $1 extra. I spent a little over $15 for the whole thing. At the end, I was still hungry. I think the portions are big enough if you're an average person. My appetite is a little bigger than average. The place itself was very clean. It had a nice modern look to it. The staff there were very friendly. They are ready to serve you! I thought this place was good, but I've been to places that had more options and more diverse flavors. read more

Love the concept of this fast customized poki bowl place. My friend and I came here around an hour before closing, so I was a bit worried that they were going to be low on ingredients or they wouldn't be as fresh as we'd like, but everything was all fully stocked and super fresh! I appreciate that they allow you to mix 2 sauces and have as many add on's as you want. I recommend mixing original spicy and ponzu, it's spicy yet refreshing. The crab salad and ika(squid) salad are their must-try sides in my opinion! I enjoyed those sides more than the actual proteins. I got a regular size bowl (1 base, 2 sides, 3 scoops of protein) and it was definitely too much food since raw fish can be a bit rich when you've had too much, so I'd recommend just getting the mini size if you don't have a large appetite. read more

Hashtag Poki is close to my apartment and the build your own bowl experience is a staple in poke establishments. FOOD: I chose to go with a Large ($12.95) that comes with four proteins. Pros are the wakame salad, solid choices of fish (salmon, albacore, ahi, and tako are my favs), and the toppings were pretty good too. The cons that kind of push me over to the three star range is the flavor of the sauce. There's something missing in it, but I wish there was more of a umph/umami flavoring to it. Furikake and wasabi can help top off the dish that gives it that nice saltier taste to the bowl itself. SERVICE: A decent in-and-out process and selecting your proteins and toppings. I did not have such a negative experience on the service as others stated below. Overall, an A-OK experience for me that does not leave me wanting to go back any time soon. read more

Rating them 3 stars because the portions are quite small. The staff are helpful and friendly. The cucumber infused water and variety of fish and toppings make this a nice treat. Cost about $13 with tax for a regular. I had double salmon and ahi tuna. They also have hamachi and albacore. Peaceful to take a break and have some healthy food. They had three sizes, and I went for the regular which was plenty of food for me. I had as the base, mixed greens and brown rice, edamame for the side, salmon, hamachi, and tuna for the proteins, and topped it off with ginger, cucumber, wasabi, and nori. I also had their regular sauce, which for me was prefect, as it was flavorful, but not drippy. The fish was fresh as were all the other ingredients. This place isn't bad, but isn't the best I've ever had. I was hoping HP would become my new go to spot because they're so close to work, but they lack on ingredients. They don't have spicy crab, fried onions, & CILANTRO!!! They do offer macaroni salad, which was a first for me. I had to choose between seaweed salad or mac salad & that was a tough decision. I love seaweed salad, but I had to see what mac salad would taste like in a poke bowl. Seaweed is usually a part of the toppings and not considered a side (which you only get to pick 2 out of 6 sides). The portions aren't as big as I'm used to because I usually get to split my bowls into 2 meals and so I pretty much finished my bowl in one sitting. The best thing, which is the most important thing, is that the bowl tasted great. Despite not having all the ingredients I'd like, the quality of the fish and their spicy original sauce was a highlight. I'd definitely try this place again! P.S. Their prices are higher from a menu that is 11 months old. So my large bowl was 13.75 from 12.95. So you add that with street parking cost, you'll have a pretty pricy meal. read more

Awesome Poke! I had a mini which is one base, two proteins, 2 side salads, mix ins, sauces, toppings. Poke is difficult to do well but this place could improve in way too many areas. We came in on a Friday night at 7:30 (prime time) and most of their fish was out of stock. I got what was left of the tuna and had to wait for the hamachi to be cut and the cut was not a good cut. Their sauce was terrible. I had original + ponzu. My tako just tasted like it was dumped in soy sauce. There was no flavor just saltiness. Their selection of toppings was surprisingly small. Get some diced tamago, mangos, insert other colorful sweet topping ideas here. I was bored out of my mind and so were my tastebuds. For their poke mixing, they use white onions which were very bland and made my poke taste like Chinese Food...One redeeming quality was the amount of avocado they give you. Don't be deceived by the non-conventional boxes instead of bowls. The regular box holds less food than the regular bowl. And you can't stir and mix evenly. I always like poke and I was really disappointed after eating this one. read more

This place is awesome! The salmon is always really fresh, the portions are on the larger size and I've never had a bad experience. The servers are incredibly helpful and knowledgable about all of the sides, the options, the fish etc. They have some lovely sauces that accompany the poke selections. Often, I don't opt for a side so they let me sub that for avocado which is appreciated. The value for money is also great, considering the amount of fresh fish you get it's a bargain! I'd recommend it to anyone, it's super clean, healthy, nice servers and good value for money. I hope they expand! read more

definitely my favorite poke spot! i've never had any issues with rudeness from any of the staff - they're actually pretty nice if you speak to them. they do get a TON of delivery orders so they're usually focused on getting those ready on time. it may take them a minute to address you or start your order but please be patient.. especially since they have limited working room and can't really distance themselves. i love that they have 3 size options (i eat like a bird so the mini is a perfect size for me). i also like that they use a box instead of a bowl for carryout, as it keeps the flavors and foods separated. i'm not a fan of anyone's faux krab salad, so i was super excited to see that they offered a tasty mac salad as an option as well. they have a nice spread of mix-ins and toppings to satisfy even the pickiest of tastebuds. and to top it all off - they even have a digital punchcard system for purchases made in store! i did subtract one star, however, because i tried delivery one night and it was not a good experience. the portion size was noticeably smaller (i compared pictures) and my order was missing a couple of things. ubereats is always a PITA when it comes to refunds so i've accepted that this is somewhere that i need to visit in-person. it's definitely worth the drive. check it out! read more

They have just enough options - not so many that it's overwhelming, but enough that you have a nice selection. 4 of us got various different things....mine was 1/2 brown rice, 1/2 wonton chips (this is an excellent choice for scoopability). Then some edamame and wakame. Then a combo of hamachi, ahi and tofu. Then massago, limu and green onion. Original sauce. Finally, every single one of the 6 toppings. It usually takes me several visits to get a poke bowl right....this time I nailed it the first time. Plus, their ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Sometimes we don't care for freshly prepared poke because it doesn't have time to marinate in the flavorful sauce....but here it didn't matter - the rest of the flavors working together worked just great.
