Hash Kitchen is honestly one of the best brunches I've ever been to, period! Everything about our experience was amazing. We went to this location on a Monday morning, roughly around 10-11am, and it was perfect. There are multiple different locations, but I noticed that this location was better for people who want a chill brunch. I also saw more kids and families here too. It was very spacious and gorgeous so we were taking pictures at every wall, around every corner lol. I ordered the queso Birria Benedict and I was almost tempted to order another one and pack it up and put it in my suitcase.. it was pure perfection! It was like a breakfast version of nachos. The mimosa flight was pretty and fun, and it added that sweet element that I feel a lot of mimosas don't seem to have. The cookie shots were fun too, however, don't expect much sweetness from the cereal and the cookie is also a hard crunchy texture. Our waiter was soooo sweet and friendly, she definitely helped make our experience what it was. If you're ever visiting Scottsdale, please don't skip this brunch spot! read more

Absolutely great start to a morning. We paired our Strawberry Mimosas, which had muddled strawberries making the flavor very fresh, with caffeine choices: French press (absolutely delicious coffee, I didn't even use creamer, just a touch of sugar), Latte also delicious and creamy. Brunchilada Stack Hash...HIT, Chicken Tinga Scrambler had great flavor and proportions of ingredients, Sexy Toast was a great sweet addition. Dante H. had great patience with us as we tried to order exactly what we wanted, which was greatly appreciated as we were on vacation. When I tell you this was one of our favorite food places during our trip to Scottsdale - that's saying a lot because we ate a lot of good food during our vacation! The location was convenient on our way to downtown Scottsdale, but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle that we were able to be seated right away on a weekday around 10am with no wait. The place is a fun vibe. With the Bloody Mary bar, the fun music playing, unique dishes, and the very friendly staff they were able to make a great impression! The food was outstanding. The waiter gave great recommendations and was patient as we made our decision. We ended up going twice on our trip. The first time my husband got the carnitas hash and I got the breakfast potato tacos. We split a half order of the protein packed buttermilk pancakes which were amazing! The second time we went we got the same thing except I got the huevos ranchero hash (which I liked better than the tacos). Wish we had one of these restaurants back home! read more

Birria! It's what's for breakfast? A 1/2 pound of slow cooked spiced beef. OMG with eggs and cheese topped with chilis and cheese quesadillas. This place is always my go-to for large group outings or out-of-town visitors. It's a fun and lively spot (sometimes a little loud but that's part of the experience), and the food is pretty good. There are a lot of different options for everyone - I always like the savory breakfast options like the avocado toast or chilaquiles, but sometimes we've gotten a sweet menu item to share on the side. I'm not a Bloody Mary person but I imagine the bar is a plus for anyone who is. The only downside is that this location doesn't take reservations or online waitlist and it can get pretty busy. Normally they keep up pretty well but service can be slow on packed weekends, so just something to be mindful of when planning. read more

What a fun concept. If I was in my 20's I'd be drinking like a fish here because the drinks that they offered looked so fun. I didn't get an adult drink, just coffee to start off the morning- which came in a carafe, and that's fun. Service was prompt. We arrived at 9ish on Monday and I can imagine that this place must get pretty packed on the weekends. We opted to sit inside due to lack of sunlight outside (not quite warm enough yet). The inside is bright, unique, and promotes a fun experience. Mom and I ordered the potato tacos with carnitas and a gluten free waffle to share- there was plenty. A waffle is a waffle- right? But when it's gluten free and doesn't taste gluten free that's when we are winning. The potato tacos seriously had amazing flavor- some Spice and some sweet, and the crunch was perfect even while it sat in sauce. But the star? The CARNITAS. It's the best carnitas that I have ever had, and I've had a lot. It wasn't dry, but also not mushy. The pieces that were slightly crisp maintained their moisture and flavor. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure! read more

I was not expecting a DJ blasting club music at 11am on a Friday morning at brunch. Especially because Hash Kitchen is located between a Sprouts and Panera Bread in a Scottsdale strip mall parking lot. We were looking for a nice spot with good food, instead we ended up with expensive and mediocre food. If you're into day clubs and drinking or with a large group celebrating something, this very well could be the spot for you. However, if you actually want to talk to the people you're eating your meal with this probably isn't the place. Because of the noise, we sat on the patio and I still had to project my voice much more than normal to their team when trying to order. I couldn't believe it. When the food came out, it was fine. The hash had decent flavor and the pulled pork was good. The French Toast was basically just toasted brioche served with nowhere near enough syrup to give it any flavor. Don't recommend their NA drinks, the edible glitter doesn't make up for the flavor. Overall, my impression is that this spot is for a party crowd looking to listen to loud music and drink while eating an okay brunch. If that isn't you, try somewhere else. read more

Hash Kitchen was recommended by a few of my family and friends and didn't disappoint me! We got French Toast, chilaquiles in red and green sauce, and a side of fries. Everything was AMAZING! I still keep thinking about the chilaquiles, and the next time I'm in Arizona, I'll have to go back! Our waiter was, and service was terrific - I had customized my chilaquiles a lot, and she was extremely accommodating! The ambiance at the restaurant is good; it's just deafening! This was a good brunch place, but there are a few things that really throw off the experience if you're not looking to drink. The music is very loud and it makes it kind of hard to talk to people in your party. The service is good but somewhat slow (waited about 30 min for our food) and the overall vibe of the restaurant is kind of chaotic. The food is good and they have a great menu. The coffee was also good! The pricing is ridiculous although it is Scottsdale, but I paid $15 for a normal eggs benedict. The French press coffee or cold brew options are more than $7 so I got a latte for $4.50. I added a side of chicken sausage, expecting multiple, but got one single sausage and that was an extra $6. $30 for a small meal and coffee is pretty steep. I might come back but it wouldn't be my first choice read more

My server Lona was awesome. She checked on me often, brought food and drink items promptly. She told me about the mimosa promotion which was amazing. I had 2 of them. The food was just ok. I had the herb chicken and waffle + billionaires bacon. I'd like to try something else here to really feel like I had an experience. Don't let that stop you from visiting. Food was delish! What a fun breakfast place for kids and adults alike! Bloody Mary bar was amazing. Crunchy salty bacon was a great side to the sweet French toast and pancakes. Service was very attentive though we were first to arrive at 8am. We, early birds on New York time, we were up early, so this was a wonderful breakfast spot without having to wait. This has always been a place that I must eat whenever I visit Arizona but unfortunately it was quite disappointing this time around. When taking our order our servers was practically yelling at us when taking our order. Yes I understand that there was a DJ playing loud music but there was no reason to yell! When our food came out, I asked for some ketchup in which the the girl said let me get your server, which 5 minutes later he hasn't came back so I ask another girl and she said the same thing. By then I gave up and started eating. After I have already finished eating half my plate did the ketchup finally came out. The French toast tastes very burnt and we couldn't finish it but the Tamela was just as good as I remember. I guess this trip has changed my thoughts of this place. read more

This is a trendy breakfast spot for a lot of reasons, especially with the young adults due to their great cocktails from mimosas and incredible bloody Mary's and the food selection is just up a few notches from the typical breakfast joint. Millionaires bacon is a prime example. Great staff though this place is always hopping with a crowd, a line to get in usually, and good music pumping I've never been disappointed in the food or drinks here, always a good choice read more

Literally finished my meal here an hour ago. Food was very good and portions plentiful. Bloody Mary Bar is nothing short of spectacular- but there's more to an enjoyable dining experience then these things- although they greatly matter as well. It's the overall experience that is important. Service is why I am giving Hash Kitchen 2-Stars- and it is why I do not recommend this restaurant. Many others have great food AND great service too. We arrived early when it was slow and lots of tables were open and we were seated promptly. Our server- whose name I do not recall was polite and came back 2 minutes after he handed us our menus. We asked for another minute but ordered our coffee which he said he would bring right over. Fast-forward 25 minutes and still no coffee and no server to take our order. Four ladies at the next table asked if we "were having problems getting served" like they were. They stated they were waiting about as long as us for the meals they ordered- but no food. Minutes kept ticking by, and we apparently looked miffed, so another server came by to ask if we needed anything. We said we had been waiting for coffee for almost 25 minutes and we could see our server serving other table who came in after us- and he was also out on their patio serving new arriving guests- but not us. A few minutes later our server appear with our coffee and an apology that was fraught with excuses such as; "they piled too many tables on me"- which is not the customers fault. He took our order and then the manager appeared- an apologetic woman who wanted to make sure we were happy. We explained we weren't, and were just about to leave when the server finally brought our coffee after we waited nearly 25 minutes. She apologized again and said they had a "rush of customers"- again not our problem. Our meal finally came- and the manager once again stopped by to make sure we were "happy." We then saw this same manager speak to those ladies at the next table and she "adjusted" their check for their inconvenience. They were the ones who looked "happy' when she personally brought over their "adjusted" check. Not sure what she comped- but she made them smile. The manager however offered nothing at all to us for our aggravation & inconvenience- not even a dessert. Perhaps the inconvenience of certain guests is more important then others- but apparently Hash kitchen did not think our patronage- or us having to wait for almost a complete half hour before our food order was even taken and coffee was served- is worth a return visit from us. No worries. Our money is just as good elsewhere. read more

This place is something else! It is anything you could want at a breakfast restaurant. Like literally anything. I know I am just going to repeat what the other Yelp reviews have said, but man oh man is this place good. If you have read any of the other Yelp reviews, you will probably know that they have an elite Bloody Mary bar. I did not personally order a Bloody Mary, but my two girl friends did and they looked wild and awesome! They stuffed that bad boy with pickles, all sort of olives, bacon, salami, and one of them put a small hamburger on it! I mean what!? I have never seen a Bloody Mary prepared like that in my life! I am not a big fan of Bloody Marys, but these were making me crave one. My friends said it was the best Bloody Mary they have ever had. By the looks of them and the looks of the bar, I have no doubt it was. Now on to the food. Spectacular selection. As soon as I looked at the menu I knew I would be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Some things listed on the menu sounded absolutely fantastic. Some of the ones that popped out to me were the sweet potato hash, lump crab hash, smoked salmon eggs benedict, Mexican scrambler...I mean the list just goes on. It was one of the toughest breakfast decision I have ever made. But I went with the Mexican scrambler and loved it. I am a sucker for Mexican style anything so this plate put me in breakfast heaven. One of my friends went with the breakfast burrito, which was just as good, (I stole a bite). My other friend went with the coconut and almond encrusted French toast which I may have to get when I come back because it was supremely delicious (stole a bite from her too). Not too worry, they both stole bites from mine lol. My total came out to about $14 (I ordered the Mexican Scrambler and an orange juice). My friend's meals came out to about $22 each with their dish and the Bloody Mary. Well worth the price. Lastly, I want to mention how great the staff is. When you walk in you really get a warm welcome and our server was super nice. Very friendly and you can feel that they want you to have a great experience. Full disclosure: I have no connection to this restaurant whatsoever, other than being a regular customer. From the time you are greeted at the door by Bonnie, the friendly hostess, you will have a first-rate dining experience. As a strictly breakfast and lunch place, HK sports a signature Bloody Mary bar with a remarkable variety of add-ons for those inclined to a morning libation. I think you could just about put together a full breakfast, if so inclined. Hard-boiled eggs, bacon, Slim Jims, and a variety of pickled veggies are on offer, in addition to the usual celery stick stirrer. The omelets, scrambles, pancakes, waffles are all first-rate and well prepared. Even the fruit plate gets special attention, with a drizzle of honey along with a selection of nutmeats. The French press coffee is an elevation even over the delicious regular brew. All in all, a wonderful dining experience. Sunday mornings are very busy, but this is a large restaurant, and can accommodate a good crowd, and the presence of people waiting testifies to the popularity and quality of the place. A 4 bc I paid for two extra eggs that I never received. The Art omelet was so delicious! I don't even like omelets but ordered it because I wanted something healthy. The veggies were actually fresh. They weren't precooked and soggy. Only issue was the asparagus was very woody and not edible. Not overly salty. Perfectly cooked veggies and eggs. The hash browns might have some sort of chili on them so after tasting one piece I passed. The French toast with crème brûle made my 13 yo almost pass out! They were like how we make them where the center is custard like and NOT dry bread. She ate half and saved the rest for the next day. Her Huevos Rancheros was the first time she had tried something on the spicy side. She loved it and the spice wasn't over the top and she comment that there was a lot of meat!!! Just wish there had been butter for the French toast, that I could have had potatoes without spice and there was an option to pay extra for real maple syrup. Thanks for the great breakfast. This was our first time here and our waiter (Sal) took the time to explain the menu and suggested their most popular dishes which was nice. I got the carnitas Hash and my friend got their berry waffle. I also got the flight of mimosas while he got the BYOBM (build your own Bloody Mary). The food came out in a very reasonable time and the portions were consistent with the price. The food was very tasty and the drinks were great. I definitely recommend the flight of mimosas. Even the manager happened to be walking by and noticed I hadn't drank my pineapple mimosa (which was my favorite) and he thought I didn't like it. We had a funny discussion and he even offered a sample of his favorite. It was a very great experience. The only critique would be that the music is a bit loud. Hash Kitchen is killing it! In a good way from what I hear from everyone... it seemed to be a hip place to get breakfast and it certainly had that feel when we came in for a quick brunch. Bloody Mary bar was over the top stocked with everything you could ever want. The food was good, but i was expecting more from my hash... "Hash" kitchen in my mind should produce Epic hash and mine was just fine. Maybe caught them on an off moment. Otherwise food impressed, with interesting flavors from different regions of the world. Service was fine, expectations were not high in this regard as the feel of the place seems to rely more on the energy of the loud music, than on the finesse of exceptional service. However it was friendly and our order was correct, and coffee was full. No complaints. Keep up the good work, looking forward to coming back with a group when I can drink more than coffee... Greeted by super friendly staff and immediately seated. Promptly met by our server (Lexi) and beverage orders were taken after a short, but very delightful, explanation of the menu. Upon return of our beverages, Lexi walked us through our breakfast choices and gave all of us great recommendations (avocado toast!!!). After taking our order, we were greeted by the manager, Dominic. Dominic is what is missing in the restaurant industry! He expressed his concern for our visit and to inform him of any issues (none of course). My family and I were in town over memorial weekend for our cousins wedding at the McCormick resort. Around 50 people came into town from WI and one of the families planned to go to panera Saturday morning for some breakfast and saw Hash kitchen next door and thought it looked like a neat place, once they learned about the Bloody Mary bar they knew it was the perfect spot for an awesome brunch. After they told us about it we decided to go to Hash kitchen on Sunday morning- had the Bloody Mary bar, mimosa flight and many awesome meals. But best of all was our waiter, Marco. He was the best server we've ever had ever (and we've been out to eat many many times) thanks Hash kitchen for the great food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend anyone to this restaurant if you are looking for good quality food and service! Two thumbs up! read more

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, Hash Kitchen is the place to be! I recently visited and tried their cannoli donuts, and they absolutely stole the show. These treats are a perfect balance of sweet, crispy, and soft - an indulgence that melts in your mouth. They're generously sized, making them perfect for sharing (though you might not want to!). What truly impressed me was how unique and delicious they were; each bite offered a delightful reminder of why we love donuts! If you've got a sweet tooth or just want to treat yourself, the cannoli donuts are a must-try! A weekend trip from Flagstaff to Phoenix in the summer may sound a little crazy, but it let's our two year old hit the splash pads all over town. Our little girl also loves Hash Kitchen. I know, that sounds far fetched. But the only thing she loves more than music and dancing is her daddy. I own a couple restaurants up north, and I know a family with a two year old can be pretty trying on a busy day. Everyone was great taking care of us, but Rachael, one of the managers stood out to us. She went out of her way to make sure our little angel was happy and taken care of. Our family was able to enjoy a Sunday brunch at one of the busiest brunch restaurants in the valley, and our little girl was able to dance all the way through brunch!!! read more
