This place is so fun! Came in on a Friday morning and it was packed. We went across the parking lot for a beer while we waited. They text me when the table was ready. We got Bloody Mary's and they were way too spicy! Like fire! Next time I will build my own. I had the chicken and waffles. It was just OK. Wow. What a fun place. I am on vacation so I figured why not live it up a little at the hash kitchen for breakfast and a Bloody Mary from the build it yourself Bloody Mary bar. When you walk in the music is pumping and the staff is bouncing around with smiles and enthusiasm. We were seated within moments, but be warned, the place is new enough that it's at capacity quickly. I opted for birria Bao buns, which were fantastic. They were folded over rather than stuffed, but delicious. Birria can be hit or miss at many places, but hash kitchen has it nailed The build your own Bloody Mary gives you and option of various infused vodkas(we had one with jalapeño and the other with cilantro lime)type or rim (bacon salt was excellent), spice level and then a selection of about 30 toppings for skewers. William was our server and he was an absolute delight He was funny, knowledgeable about the menu, and he was so kind to our kids. The only reason I took off one star was because of the hostess. Food was tasty. Billionaire bacon was delicious. It's one thick slab but easily enough for 4 people to enjoy. Favorite menu item of all 4 meals was the carnitas hash. Definitely would come back. I was invited to the soft opening and it was a great experience! So many influencers and public figures showed up! The atmosphere was amazing! Nice and cozy place with exceptional service! This place is really, really good! The service was quick and the staff was really nice. Our table had the potato tacos and the Malibu Barbie drink. The tacos were fantastic and the drink was great (but it's for like 3-4 people even though the menu says 2!) Unremarkable and overpriced for what you get. More hype than substance. I've been here multiple times and tried different menu items each time and I just don't get it. This time I ordered a scramble. It was dry and sad looking. I can get better hash browns from Chick-fil-A. The Mexicana had maybe three cherry tomatoes, was made with maybe two eggs, and I barely noticed the chorizo. Which is quite an accomplishment since that should have a strong flavor. While the service was great the food was regrettable. read more

Whenever I wake up hungry and want to do something special for breakfast, the first place I think of is Hash Kitchen Gilbert. Get to know Adam the manager and he'll treat you like family every time you come in. The servers/bartenders will remember you and hug you and ask how college is going or when school starts. I have a passion for the hospitality industry and Hash Kitchen Gilbert nails it. No one bats 100, but I promise, if they don't knock it out of the park on the first try, they'll make it right. Wow! Had a great brunch and great service by Teresa! Our group ordered a couple bloody marys and a mimosa flight, which were excellent. All the food was amazing. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. We ordered Huevos rancheros hash, Chile relleno hash with carnitas, breakfast burrito chimichanga style, banana split French toast, biscuits and gravy. This was such a disappointing meal for my wife and I, and we have been waiting a while to try this place. The atmosphere was nice and clean, albeit a little eccentric, and appearing to want to cater to people who want to gossip and drink mimosas at 10 in the morning. The restaurant was practically empty, maybe 5 tables being used, and they had us all crammed in one spot by the bar. The service was great, very friendly, but the food was god awful. Literally one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had, to the tune of almost $60.00 for two people. The scramble was advertised as having "thick cut bacon". Look at the photo, almost no bacon at all and what was there was hardly thick. It had ZERO flavor. The sauce on our other meal was supposed to taste like a BBQ sauce, but had a terrible stale, bitter taste. And it was congealed and looked unappetizing. The side potatoes on the scramble were cooked perfectly, but had no seasoning at all. They have some great items, it all looked so delicious, but sadly the food was not good. I want to give it a second chance, but doubtful. I hope they do better moving forward. read more

After 40 minutes I went and checked with the hostess how much longer she said they were waiting for a table. So we waited some more, after we saw atleast 10 parties go in ahead of us and it's been an hour and 10 minutes I went back up and asked hostess again. She said they are waiting for table still. There were 3 tables that we saw on the patio for 2 empty for atleast 30 minutes and still empty when I went . Just insane, so I told take us off list and we left to finally get some breakfast. There is literally a DJ playing music during brunch, so it's loud but not overbearing. While we didn't have one, the Bloody Mary Bar looked amazing!! You can literally put 100+ items on a Bloody Mary! Our food was delicious - we got the Best Fu**ing Birria Hash and the Carnitas Hash.. both super good! Our son got the kids scramble (2 scrambled eggs with fruit and/or hash brown patty). As a warning, the kids eggs (and all eggs for that matter) come with Old Bay Seasoning on them. This place was awesome. Never been here and decided at Easter to go with my daughter and grand daughter. The vibe is intoxicating. Once seated the service was awesome. My grand daughter who is 1 was so fascinated by the place. The dj was great. Food and service was really good. Will definitely come back. Only thing i noticed is the chef is a little reluctant to use spices. Food did lack the next level as far as seasoning. Heat is a critical aspect of food .... Not temperature heat but spice heat.
