We always love Harvey's! We have been coming here almost every year to celebrate our Anniversary for the past 24 years.

The food was great! i highly recommend the ribeye and the salmon! Christy was the best server!

Literally the worst experience we've had in a long time. Our bread that came with our salad wasn't even toasted. The cheese was just shredded on top and put on a plate. Inattentive wait staff. Our food took forever to come out. My husband paid $30 for prime rib and a side of asparagus. He got 3 spears.., my meal was just ok... not enough food. We literally left hungry. read more

Staff is friendly and very accommodating from the hostess to the bartenders to Will, our waiter. Sitting in the bar area in a booth was comfortable and not at all noisy enough to disrupt your conversation. Recommend the prime rib. Very tender well cooked filet mignon. A little light on the crisp edges and seasoning but tasty nonetheless. Great service, good lighting, and relatively quiet dining area. Potato was a little over cooked and I didn't agree with the ham chunks that were an aspect of the 'loaded' version. Wife had the macaroni & cheese, she really liked it. Harveys has been around a while but the food is good and atmosphere great. It's a great place for drinks and appetizers or a meal. The food is a step up from blue plate but retains a southern flare. The staff is very friendly. If you are in the Golden Triangle you can find there other locations in both Starkville and Columbus. read more

We had a party of 12 and they would not seat us. When they did finally seat us they would not let us push tables together. The waiter tells us we are allowed to pull chairs up to one table so we could all sit together. After everyone is sitting together with their drinks the manager comes over and tells us we have to move and we cannot have the extra chairs at our table because it was a fire hazard. He then stares at us across the restaurant until some of our group moves back. My friend has a red meat allergy and asked them to not put the sausage in her pasta and they said no. She then asked if she could get a salad without bacon bits and they still brought it out with bacon. She sends it back and they say they will make her another and they forgot. We mention it again and they finally bring out another salad and it STILL had bacon on it. My other friends chicken was burnt to a crisp and they said it was because they wanted to speed up the cook time that's why it was burned. My friend explains all of this to the manager and he tells us that he is going to take the gratuity off our waiters check. I understand the holiday season is crazy and can be chaotic but they just did not have it together at all and kept making excuses for the poor service. read more

Given that there's not much around here, it's a solid place to go to. But I have to review it based on how it is overall, not how it is compared to other spots in the area. It looks sketchy from the outside but the interior is pretty nice. The service was friendly. We had a regular waitress accompanied by one in training. I asked for the swordfish with the jam on the side and the jam came right on top. The food itself was good though. My coworkers got steaks that were undercooked. One asked for a medium and he got medium rare. The other asked for medium rare and it was basically raw. So if you get steak, just ask to get it cooked a little more than you actually want it. All the food is solid. Nothing was terrible but nothing stood out either. I heard Woody's is better so I'll have to check them out next. read more

I went to Harvey's 3 Sundays ago, for my very 1st time. OMG!!! the food was incredible. I got the Sunday brunch...it was a club quiche, a cup of the most amazing creamy chicken noodle soup on this planet, broccoli bites, and fried cheese, and 1/2 & 1/2 iced tea. When I tell you the food was amazing...that is just scratching the proverbial surface!! I had sooo much food that I got me a 'TO GO' box; and had it again the very next day for my lunch. I went there this past Monday for lunch. I had THE CLUB, cup of loaded potato soup (LOADED), and fried cheese. Again, I brought 1/2 of my club sandwich home with me...then later on in the evening, I ate the leftovers. This place is awesome not only with the food that they serve; but also the service was great. The Christmas decor was elegant, yet not overly done. I will return...Sundays after church, for sure. read more

Prime rib was very tender. My marinated steak was a little chewy but flavor was good. Would be 5 stars except for my steak being not quite right. My husband, my boys & I stopped here for an early dinner after visiting the local Buffalo Park & Zoo. We've been to the Harvey's in Columbus, MS and knew we couldn't go wrong with a wonderful meal! We were greeted as we walked in the door by a very friendly hostess. Seated right away and promptly received our drink order. They were very patient with us and our two small children. My husband & I both ordered the Delta Chicken (our favorite!). We also got an app or the Broccoli Bites, these are a MUST! My oldest son got the Hot Dog off the kids menu. Everything came out in a timely manner, hot & delicious! After my son dropped half his hot dog, the manager(?) brought over some fruit for him and my baby. We found this gem of a restaurant on our way to Florida.. Our waitress Lexi was extremely bubbly, friendly And helpful. She asked if we were first timers there and when we said yes, she said there would be a little surprise. Next the very sweet Brittany showed up... I assume the hostess, and told us that dessert would be on the house. I had the shrimp and crawdad Cajun pasta. It was very delicious! My wife had sweet potatoes with butter and chicken soup... Also delicious. For dessert, Lexi brought a huge brick of bread putting which was to die for. My wife had cheesecake which was fantastic. Can't say enough about this place! Thank you. read more
