I've come here a couple times now with some coworkers. We always get the hush puppies which is great for dipping in the butter once the meal comes. We always get the meal D option and I usually sub out the crawfish for either more lobster or more snow crab. We arrived around 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday. We didn't expect it to be busy at that time. There was only one table of people besides us. We didn't let that concern us since it was still early in the day. The server sat us in a booth. We asked to move because the seats were badly worn and very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and torn covering. She moved us to a table with wobbly chairs, but it was better than the booth. The table, however, was right underneath a radio speaker that was playing constant commercials that were mostly static. We asked the server to either turn it down or change the station because it was very loud and annoying. She yelled to someone to fix the radio, but they never did. We endured the terrible static noise. My husband and son ordered two dozen oysters, and I ordered an order of calamari. The oysters did NOT taste fresh, and the calamari was rubbery with undercooked batter. We did NOT finish the food. We finished our two beers and water and left without ordering any main entrees. It was $58.00. Not worth it. Don't go. It was NOT good. The server also cleaned up tables with the bussing cart without washing her hands. Gross. read more

We both got the crab special which was 1/2 lb crab, shrimp, potatoes, corn ect. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Only minor grip is no real silverware. They had the crab crackers but not way to open the harder to open parts of the leg. The plastic forks didn't do the job. Wish they at least had the hard plastic pry tools. Again since it was cooks perfectly this wasn't a huge issue. Had they had those it would easily have gotten 5 stars. We will eat here on the next trip in the area. read more

I feel their prices are deceptive. They hand write a second digit on the end of a price in bold white. They use a black sharpie on a black background in a dim atmosphere. Found this seafood spot when visiting a friend in Tupelo. Gave it a try and the outcome was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Get the combo meal, it's the best deal. We got combo C and catfish basket. Make sure you choose Madden seasoning, was told that's what everyone choose. Price is good and they give you a lot of food for the price you paid. This was my first time experience here. I really enjoyed the food, it was as good as any we had at the beach last week. I ordered the shrimp and snow crab legs. They both came with corn and potatoes in a bag. The mild seasoning was really good for me. I will be going back. The waiter was very friendly and so was hostess. Tupelo is in dire need of a great seafood restaurant...and this is not it, unfortunately. The building is old and tired, smelled musty- would never know it had been newly renovated. Almost all staff were Asian, which I have no issues with but found it curious. And then after researching a bit, I understood why- this was formerly an Asian buffet. So. Anyway, ordered the shrimp boiled combo, which had so much grease, I understood the need for the gloves and bib supplied with it. Trying to hold on to the slippery devils and peel them without the shrimp (overcooked, btw) shooting off the table was a feat! lol! The red potatoes were actually good...but the corn was overcooked and saturated with the grease from the shrimp boil. We asked for drawn butter, hoping to resuscitate the shrimp, but when the server dropped the "drawn butter" off, we stared at the bright yellow imitation butter flavored oil and decided to just eat the shrimp sans "butter". We also ordered a side of onion rings, which, actually, were very good. Go figure. read more

I do not recommend this establishment. We came in around 7:30pm and left around 8:30pm HUNGRY WITHOUT FOOD and HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. First thing we noticed was our hostess complaining and going on about how they were slammed unexpectedly and that she apologized for the 3 minute wait and explained how they were soooo busy. 3 minute wait is not busy in our opinion. Then, Laken, our waitress comes to our table asking for our drinks. We tell her our drinks and she automatically forgets them and asks us all to repeat them, which okay I understand brain mess ups, no worries. 20 minutes after ordering we all finish our drinks, then almost another 20 minutes go by and we still have yet to see Laken. At this point I'm getting ready to get up and ask for refills at the bar. I finally see Laken and she has the nerve to apologize and complain about being so busy. (She is managing 3 other tables other than us. Seriously?) I get over it with our drinks being refilled finally and an additional cup of soda even though working customer service I've learned never to do that. Now, it's almost been an hour since we ordered our food. I haven't seen Laken in 15 minutes since she last stated she would check on our food with some more complains and apologies. My family and I came to the conclusion that we were done waiting after a full hour that is place is the worst. Never will be back. Do not recommend unless you want to have terrible service and wait 1 hour for food. read more
