We went on a Saturday night before a concert, so it was super busy. It took a while to get our food but understandable. It was a laid back atmosphere and it's fine to go in casual clothes. Our server Briley was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We got complimentary bread and olive oil while we waited. We got the antipasto as an appetizer, which had olives, feta cheese, and the Italian meat which I forgot the name of. I ordered the shrimp scampi and tiramisu. Scampi reminded me of scampi I got in Destin, Florida. Very buttery and garlicky with a hint of lemon. It had linguine and several succulent shrimp. Tiramisu was great. Had that espresso flavor and it was a nice enough portion. Had chocolate syrup and cocoa dusted on top. Our friend got the lasagna and he devoured it. He also got the Italian cream cake. He's not a coconut fan, but the server talked him into it. Not enough coconut to turn him off of it. He ate every bite and said it was good. My husband got the spaghetti carbonara and added chicken and shrimp. I tasted it and it was very yolky and flavorful. Overall, the food and experience were great. If we are ever in Tupelo again, we will be back. read more

As we all know, lots of Italian food has cheese in it. Well, the waitress suggested a pasta and I'm glad she did. The portions are huge and the food was very tasty. They bring out bread and pesto sauce before your food. I had pasta with all veggies with a lemon zest wine sauce. Magnificent! read more

This was my first coming here. I heard great things about it. The staff was really nice from the time we came in until we left. I ordered the Cajun seafood pasta. It was very flavorful, a bit on the salty side, but overall really good. My entire table loved their dishes. When I'm back in Tupelo, I will definitely come back. We came here on Thursday night. My family had been talking about it for a while so it was nice to finally be able to check it out. I ordered the spicy rigatoni which was very flavorful and had a good amount of spice to it.. All of the dishes at our table looked good though. Our waiter was very accommodating to our group. OMG!!! A new Italian local restaurant just opened a few weeks ago in Tupelo! I' had heard good reviews about it. Well, tonight I went there for dinner with 4 friends! It's owned by a fellow from Tirana in Albania . Beautiful people! I lived in northern Italy for 20 years. Well... it's wonderful! As Albania was also part of the Venetian Republic, their cuisine is similar to northern Italian cuisine. My dear friend, Betsy, & I split a pasta Bolognese! It was spectacular! I had a spritz Campari before dinner & a canollo after dinner with a caffe macchiato! Everything that the five of us had was superb! I am so thankful that Casa D'Italia is here in my little town of wonderful local restaurants. Oddio!!! Un nuovo ristorante locale italiano ha appena aperto qualche settimana fa a Tupelo! No garlic bread on the table, my Alfredo had too little garlic, prices are high for just a plate of pasta: no soup or salad included. This restaurant uses pre-grated parm cheese with no taste. The calamari ap was ok, nothing special. Overall it was overpriced for the quality of the experience, including the food. I likely will not return. read more

I just went and ate here for the first time today with my significant other, and this was the best Italian food I've ever had (That is not an exaggeration). This is the most slept on place in Tupelo and I am baffled that it doesn't have more customers than it does regarding how delicious the food was. Delicious meal! My husband had the "Tour of Italy" with chicken parmesan, lasagna, and fettuccine Alfredo. He liked the chicken the best. I had eggplant parmesan, not at all greasy. Excellent, superb service! And a free dessert as well. I was a little perplexed when the limoncello was a cake, not a liqueur. First, the food is always wonderfu!! I eat there every week. The reason for the low stars is because I ordered veal parmesan tonight to go. When I got there they read it back to me as veal marsala. I said that's not correct. The manager said he corrected. I payed. I got home and it was marsala. He knows what he did and he should be ashamed. I even gave a high tip. read more

We went there for a Saturday lunch. Right off the bat the staff met us at the back door (I use a walker and had to come up the handicapped ramp). They were very helpful and gave us a table near the door so we didn't have to go very far. Our server (Brileigh) came immediately to our table and took our drink and appetizer order. She was amazing, very helpful, and observant, and always checking to see if we needed anything. I ordered something Brileigh suggested, the chicken rollatini. I have been here several times and it is not typical Italian chain restaurant food. Yes, they have your favorite traditional dishes but they had so much more and dishes you won't find in most Italian restaurants. We really enjoy the starter bread and olive oil. It may look like bagels when it arrives at the table, but it will look like an empty bread basket in no time! My favorite is the Chicken Modomio with the Tour of Italy a close second. A great new find. This place is deceiving from the outside(purple), but the food is amazing. We tried two parm's and another had spaghetti. Everything we had was delicious. Nice music in the background, maybe loud for some, but they have different rooms so you can get away from it. I can't say enough about the service and the attention to details! We had several issues, the biggest was the pasta sampler, we expected a plate with portions of each. What we received was a casserole dish with each item hidden under a melted mozzarella topping. I very much would have preferred my meal separated so I could enjoy the individual flavors. read more

The best authentic Italian food I've had in a long, long time. I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms. All the food was delicious (we had the shrimp scampi and the salmon piccata).
