Dessert menu

Seafood pasta 10000/10 highly recommend Chicken piccata see above score- Bread basket is SO good you'll have trouble leaving room for food.. Calamari is good too. Pasta was best I've ever ate in my life. Flavor unmatched. Dessert score pending- I had to make this review while I'm sitting at the table because it's that good I needed to scream it from the roof tops!! I will be back Update: I ended up having the tiramisu and it was also the best I've ever had- and I'm picky about tiramisu!!!

Plenty of food on your plate, authentic and delicious Italian. We had Tour of Italy, Pasta Sampler and Chicken Parm and all was really good.

The food was amazing and the service was very nice. I think they came and took over the Italian food in Tupelo!

Very nice atmosphere. Food is very good. I could critique a few things, but nothing to prevent me from returning for more.

The Nautical Whimsey is located in downtown Tupelo along Main Street. This spot serves comforting…read moreItalian food with very generous portions and a decent bar selection. THE FOOD The Highlight: The Tiramisu was the star of the evening--moist, semi-sweet, and rich. A tasty end to the meal. Starters: The freshly fired Cheese Bread was another win, topped with fluffy, warm cheese. A comforting start. The Entrees: The portion sizes for the Gnocchi, Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo were enormous. You get a massive amount of food for the price. * Note: The execution didn't match the size. There were issues with texture and flavor depth across the main dishes. For example, the Fettuccine Alfredo sauce was watery and bland rather than creamy and rich. SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE The dining area has a homey, casual feel. The hostess and server were patient, and the waitress immediately swapped out a glass of red wine that had oxidized, which was appreciated. PARKING Plenty of streetside parking is available. OVERALL The Nautical Whimsey provides a large amount of food for the cost. It is a solid choice if you need to feed hungry teenagers who value quantity over culinary precision, but foodies looking for high-quality Italian might want to look elsewhere.

Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, great customer service. I got a small sausage and mushroom thin crust to go. As I waited I took that opportunity to look around a take a few pics. They were pretty busy so my expectations were high. I don't review regular pizza places the same as a Chicago or NYC pie, that wouldn't be fair. We all know the crust makes the pizza and I didn't appreciate this crust so much. It had a strange texture and taste. I couldn't put my finger on it almost like play dough. Maybe because I got a thin crust. I would definitely revisit this place to try something else on the menu. I hope I just caught them on an off day.

Ok I have to update my last review. Came here again because it was convenient and across from our…read morehotel. I did not want a chain pizza like Pizza Hut or Domino's. I forgot we came here before and I did not like the crust. I STILL don't like the crust it's heavy, dense with no flavor!!!! Blah, the crust is not light Neapolitan style or New York style, it is just dense bread dough like. I got the hippy I think it was called which is vegetarian I want to say the toppings were fresh, but I couldn't tell. Friend got the artichoke dip appetizer. It was fine. services are fair, you order at the counter and they bring you your order but how can you be a pizza place and have horrible pizza dough? I agree with my last review, I called it "LOST" Pizza because they lost a pizza dough recipe. Next time....Pizza Hut!!! Another star for good beer selection.
