The Shakery is your go to place in Tupelo for Instagram worthy milkshakes, but do they taste as…read moregood as they look? Turns out they do! The inside of The Shakery is very cute: they have an Instagram wall, couches and table seating, and some games for the kids as well as kid sized tables! You can either order one of their set milkshake recipes, or you can customize one! They have an insane amount of choices so it may take you a while to decide. My group got the Cookie Monster shake, key lime pie shake, the chocolate overload shake (plot twist, it was indeed an overload of chocolate), and the crazy brownie. Everything was very tasty and adorable! I will say that they are EXTREMELY sweet, but that is to be expected with all of the toppings! The reason I gave four stars is because the wait time was pretty long, about an hour for our milkshakes. They were very apologetic however, and I feel that once they get their feet under them and some more staff they'll be good to go on that end! They have a bathroom available that is well kept, and all of the tables were clean and not sticky at all! Pro tip: if it seems like there's gonna be a long wait, try to snag a spot on their comfy couch in the front of the shop!

I always see a lot of people at any Crumbl location every time I pass by one. I wanted to see what…read moreall the hype was about so I stopped in. I was greeted by a nice young man as he rung up another customer and I took my time looking around. I didn't know that they sold so many beverages. They also have a lot of different cookies to choose from. Who doesn't love fresh baked cookies? I settled on the s'mores cookie, basically a chocolate chip cookie topped with marshmallows, drizzled with chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. As I waited, the place appeared to be clean and organized. When I got home I warmed it up and it was good but it lacked the flavor and texture that real butter provides, If they used real butter they may have added another kind of fat in addition to butter. I prefer real butter.

All were delicious - the doughnuts were light and fluffy, plenty of icing but not so much that it's too sweet. The biscuit was also delicious. Being a local shop that makes their own stuff, we did find they were out of a few varieties, so stop early if you want something specific.
