Great for your lunch break or for dinner, Urban Chicken provides a menu and atmosphere similar to that of like a Canes, but I honestly like the options here a bit more The interior is clean, spacious, and it's super cold in terms of temperature. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything tasted great The menu offers mostly chicken options as that is their bread and butter (it's a Nashville style chicken spot). I always get the urban fries as they are a wonderful medley of flavors. There's fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffles, loaded fries (different varieties like the urban fries), and much more. You can also choose your level of heat from no heat, to Nashville Hot, to "Fire in the Hole" and other options. They also have shakes and other sides Again, it's a solid dining experience. Easy for a quick meal or to-go. It's also very tasty. It's not necessarily the best for you in terms of health, but you should treat yourself from time to time. Also, they state that is all natural halal chicken (no antibiotics or preservatives) Some tips: When you order you will get a number placard to place on your table, and your meal will come out to you They also have an e-club and rewards program. I'm not currently a member, but it looks like you can get need, discounts, and other rewards For Urban Bird Mgmt: I would put signage for either indicating if we are supposed to bus our own table or not. Also, there appears to be like one trash area and it's right by the order counter. There should be one by the door so we can bus our table on the way out Also, there's an option for tip at the register and while it's solid service, it is one of those tip situations that is awkward because you aren't necessarily being waited in like in a sit-down restaurant, but also, it's very noticeable to the staff if you tip or not and what you tip. Maybe try to make it more private to make patrons feel less guilty Cheers!!

Everything was going great with my meal, and I was enjoying it until I was about halfway finished…read more I took another bite and felt something sharp poke my mouth. When I pulled it out, I realized it was a staple that had been in my food. I'm extremely thankful I noticed it before swallowing it because this could have caused a serious injury. Finding a sharp metal staple in my food is completely unacceptable and honestly ruined my entire experience. I've attached pictures as proof of what I found. I understand that mistakes can happen, but something like this should never make it into a customer's food. I really hope the restaurant takes this seriously and looks into how this happened to prevent it from happening to someone else

Corn on the cob was corn, no added flavoring and not much sweetness. Longer though than ones from KFC. One point deduction for loud fan that kept running off and on. Food presentation was also normal fried stuff. Doesn't have that appeal to make you want to dive in voraciouslly. In short a fairly good chicken experience.

I asked for a refund and the manager told me she cancelled my card, never asking what how to fix the issue. These ladies were so rude no customer service, they really need training. I go out to eat and pay for it to be fresh like advertised.

Location is on the heavily congested Fairmont corridor. Parking is decent and free. So I believe Layne's has a cult like following it's either you love it or you don't. Counter is at entrance and you order there. I went with the 3 tender combo with fries, gravy, and Texas toast. The food came out hot and fresh. The tenders were decent but not great. There was hardly any seasoning in the breading to make this tender stand out. The cream gravy helped. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms were clean. There is alot of artwork around the building to give it some identity. The story behind the 6 clocks on the wall was cool. I don't think playing loud reggaeton in the kitchen where all your guests can hear is a good look. Will I be back in the future, prob not. Overall marginal food.

LOVE DAVES HOT CHICKEN!…read more I won't drive by a hot chicken place and have scored a bunch all the way into Nashville. NO ONE touches Dave's. From counter service, facility cleanliness (regardless of location), speed of service and food quality frankly no one is close." Flavor profiles across spice levels is awesome. First time I visited, which was about a month ago, I ordered a 2 medium tender combo with cheese fries through the drive thru and everything was absolutely perfect. The drive thru line also didn't take too long. Long enough to know your food was gonna be fresh but fast enough to keep you from getting impatient. A nice lady pleasantly assisted me. My second visit , last week on a Fri or Saturday evening, I started in the drive thru line and there were several cars ahead of me plus the line was moving at a glacial pace so I backed up and went inside. The wait inside took forever. The lady ahead of me must've had a zillion modifications. A kind teenage boy who had trouble finding a few things on the register assisted me. I dined in, had a beer while I awaited my food. I had nearly finished the beer when they called my name and when I got my food it was just above room temperature. I could tell the food would've tasted just as good as it did during my last visit had it been served to me at thee correct temperature but it had obviously been sitting out for a bit. I also noticed a couple people who came after me got their food ahead of me. It'll be a while before I return to Dave's. I need to get back on track with my usual healthy eating habits and my sub par second visit to Dave's fortunately killed my Dave's hot chicken craving.
