As far as fast food chicken goes, I thought Bojangles on Bay Area Blvd was a great experience! I…read moretried Bojangles for the first time just recently because of all the hype I had heard about it from East Coast people. What used to be the old Genghis Grill location, this Bojangles definitely gives Raising Canes and Layne's a run for their chicken tender money. This location is pretty spacious, clean interior, fast drive thru, and had plenty of parking too. I missed the name of the guy I talked to at the cash register, but his service was great and you could tell how hard of a worker he is. I tried their 4 piece tenders, chicken sandwich, biscuit, dirty rice, bo sauce, house made ranch, and their new blackberry cobbler. The chicken is crispy, well seasoned, and larger than the other fast food chicken tender competitors. But the main thing I'm coming back for are those BISCUITS! By far the best fast food biscuits at any fast food restaurant, it honestly beats some actual restaurants too. The only small critique was that I didn't care for the dirty rice too much, it was just a little bland, and the blackberry cobbler was way too sweet. Otherwise, I'll definitely be back again! I want to try their mac n cheese and peach honey pepper sauce. Enjoy!

It seemed pretty quiet but it was an early Saturday so I wasn't alarmed. Soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and a question of our first time at the establishment. I let the manager know I'd been before but only on the East Coast and he proceeded to let me know that BO had decided to change the menu for their Texas visit. Already, i wasn't impressed with that change but we decided to get some tenders and sides. Mac & Cheese is really good but could have been hotter as in temperature but great flavor. The chicken tenders were decent but I could have gone with better flavoring? one huge downfall is that they do not sell "bone-in" chicken....yeah - they lost 3 stars with that decision!! all in all, it was decent but wouldn't beat out any of the other chicken places around Houston. Probably won't go back again because I wasn't really impressed and they're just not in my daily route.

I got the fat doobie but i substituted cheesesteak meat instead of the chicken tenders and regular ranch. It was awesome. The bread is very tasty and each ingredient is, itself, a worthy side food. From the mozzarella sticks to the Mac to the onion rings. The meat was great, too. My wife had a burger and honesty just such a solid burger, good char on the meat, great flavor and the bun was toasted and the right mix of a little crunch on the perimeter and softness. While visiting friends in Baytown and doing some Christmas Day shopping, we spotted this location and thought, why not give it a try? I thought of their oaded potatoes, but ended up going with the half sandwich, half soup combo instead. I chose the chipotle avocado chicken sandwich and the chicken pot pie soup. Service was surprisingly fast despite it being around lunchtime, there was only one other table near us. Once we placed our order, the food arrived in under five minutes. The sandwich tasted good, but it was a bit light on protein. I wish they had added a couple more pieces of chicken. The chicken pot pie soup, on the other hand, was tasty and very thick--almost gravy-like in consistency. They also offer free ice cream, which is a nice perk, though it was a little icy for my liking. Still, it's a fun touch. Overall, the experience was solid with quick service and friendly staff. They did ask if I had a Jason's Deli Rewards account and if I wanted to sign up, but it's not a place I visit often enough to justify it.

I don't think answering a guest is WHAT???? whenever you didn't hear about a request for a specific kind of cheese on a sub and telling the team member 3 Times to bacon on the side and still getting it wrong?? I can't comprehend why listening and hearing is an issue whenever making a sub. Enough of my rant lol. Overall I love Jersey Mikes and will always make it back here to enjoy my favorite sub.
