stop by to get the kids a Grinch meal they forgot to mention that they had nothing Box, Fry shacker or anything. We was dumbfounded when we for our $42.00 order. Called the store and was told they ran out of everything 30 mins prior but forgot to mention it while we was in the drive thru. So a negative star is perfect for this place if you advertise it make sure you have it! Thanks read more

They only have 2 spaces to pull into for app orders. They have long car lines. I ordered their large French Vanilla ice coffee and it isn't coffee, the worst ai have ever had. They give you a large synthetic milk drink and it has the smallest detectable coffee flavoring. I also had a double bacon cheeseburger which was cheap but small and barely acceptable. Cheap but you get what you pay for. Service was not quick at the 2 app spaces. read more

Placed a mobile order for a large frappe, waited inside for 20 minutes. Then this hillbilly lookin boy had the audacity to ask me 3 times "are you waiting for an order?" and proceeded to not get my order out. read more

I've reviewed a few McDonald's locations over the years and this location is the best one, by far. McDonald's food is what it is. You don't go there for a prime grade steak. But these folks do an outstanding job of presenting hot, fresh menu items in a quick and courteous fashion. The restaurant is also clean and well kept. To the owners of this place: You management team here deserves major kudos, because everyone seems to know his/her job and they are consistent. read more

Unclean, slow, with untrained staff. Waited 15 minutes for curbside before going in to find my order just sitting on the counter cold. Skip this McDonald's and go anywhere else. read more

If I could give this locations zero stars I would. I can never understand how people will write your order correct & repeat it but when I get my order it still isn't correct. Not only was our order not correct, they made us pull forward & wait another 15 minutes only to receive a raw uncooked patty! read more

The worst McDonalds I have ever been to in life after tasking 30 min through drive thru when they are supposed to have all your food all ready just like Chick-fil-A does to make it worse when I got to the window he asked me what I ordered again and then put my order in again to make he didn't even begin to make my order he took like what was the point of that? Then I didn't even have everything in my bag for my order so never go here ever in life read more

My husband and I stop by here every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for breakfast. They are always friendly in the drive-thru and Ms. Linda is always there with a smile on her face and she treats us like friends. We love seeing her in the mornings! Occasionally, they run slow in the drive-thru and I think for a while they were short handed so it was pretty frustrating. They seem to be getting better at getting you through in a decent amount of time. The food is pretty good... It's McDonald's so it's not like you can expect some gourmet meal, but I do like this one better than some others I've been to. Our order has always been right, it's always hot enough, and once we order, we get through pretty quickly. The only thing that is unfortunately inconsistent is the iced coffee. Sometimes it's bitter, but most of the time, it's perfect... :-) read more

I've given this McDonald's too many chances. Tonight I ordered the new 10 spicy nuggets meal. They were out of the new Sauce. No big deal. Still went ahead and ordered. I will never go here again. Apparently they serve breakfast all day but they do not serve lunch all day.. I just got off work from working 48 hours straight and would like a burger and fries. Was told that they were only doing breakfast. I've gotten a burger and fries from other McDonald's at this time. I literally had to go to another McDonald's to get it. I tried calling 16 times and never got a answer. Very sad with this McDonald's. It should be closed down! read more

Zero stars for me. I live half a block from them. Horrible and rude customer service and always short on staff:(. Don't get in drive - thru it will take 20 plus minutes for your food. This is the worst mcdonald's i've ever been to. I just moved here and i've already had 2 horrible experiences. I went in to replace my order and i had already spoken to a manager over the phone, no issues, then when i walked in, the lead was extremely rude and kept arguing with me! Then when i received my order my fries were hard as a rock and cold. To make it worse, the same lead grabbed his crotch and scratched it! DISGUSTING read more

I have been eating at this location since 1990 and for the past year or so, I have usually been driving to Seabrook or Pasadena to enjoy my double cheeseburger. I have problems in the drive thru every time I go. Most of the concerns are with the crew. I have noticed there is no standard for accepting my money, for saying thank you for my business, or any type of greeting or farewell. I understand the fast pace of the restaurant business. I have worked in many of them. A simple thank you would suffice in regards to the hundreds of dollars I have spent at this location for years. When the manager rolls their eyes at you because she is too busy to say thank you, that's pretty bad. Thank you Miss JoJo for being the rudest manager yet at this location. read more

The staff is great the drive through guy named Justin was great he even made sure my order was right and there is one manager that sounded very rude and I hate to say but I won't be going back to this restaurant because of that.ill take my business else where and don't even try to call because they don't answer half the time. I'd say that they need a change in management and put someone who cares about the customer not just a dollar read more

I was selected to be interviewed for an assistant manager position at this location. I have many years in restaurant management, quality assurance and people management in general. I was initially scheduled for 9:00 am on Memorial day with the GM of this location named Diogenes Powell. I arrived 5 minutes early, was told by staff he was running late. He arrived at 10:10 am, after I had been waiting for over an hour. He looked very professional and pressed but smelled like alcohol. The interview consisted of two or three questions the most surprising was, "You basically know what its like to be a manager right?" So the interview ended with the understanding that I would be contacted by his supervisor. Several days later after I had to make 2 follow-up calls, I received a call from a "Rebecca" that identified herself as a district training manager because the area supervisor was out on maternity leave. She scheduled an interview with me at the same location for a few days later. The interview was much more thorough than the previous. She ended the interview telling me I would be contacted by the VP of operations for a subsequent interview. So a week went by with no call; I called the Kades Corporation office and left a message for "Rebecca" Name is Rebecca Hayslett-- simply requesting a followup call. The individual told me the message would be given to her immediately. I received no callback. The next week, still no response, so I called and left another message for her; I received no callback again. The third week went by with no response, so I called again requesting her supervisors name and their hierarchy. I still left a third message for this lady; no response. All it takes to respond is a phone call back or a quick email. This is business etiquette. I finally called back to the corporate office and requested to talk to the franchise owner, Mr. Kades, was told he was out of the country. So I left a message for the Director of Operations. He called me back and expressed remorse and had an apologetic attitude toward me in regards to this whole situation. He stated that I should not have even been interviewed by the first General Manager, I should have gone directly to a supervisor interview since I was a candidate for a salaried manager position. I have been a customer at this particular La Porte unit for years now and always witness serious operational issues whether I come thru the drive thru or come into the dining room. Having had this experience as a candidate for employment makes me question their compliance to other operational guidelines that are required to maintain their franchise license with the McDonalds Corporation. I have forwarded a copy of this text in more detail to the director of franchise compliance at the McDonalds corporate offices in Illinois. Before you spend your money here, think about how they treat potential employees, then this must transcend to their current employees. What a scandal! read more

The first time I came here I had to go inside because their debit machine was down and when I went in they asked me what I wanted from across the store and when I started ordering the lady said "some one else needs to take her order cause I can't hear nothing she's saying" but in a mean tone and she was wearing a manager outfit . After I ordered I overheard her talking to another employee about how she's sweating so much that her weave is slipping off which is very unsanitary it was also purple which isn't professional . Now I came with my mother and the lady in the drive through also told her "I can barley hear you" but in a rude tone as well. read more

Before starting this review, I want to say I am a big reader of reviews, for products, food, or whatever. I may want to buy something, but not bad enough if the reviews are bad. So after reading the reviews of this McDonald's, some are like 3 years old - the problems are still existent. I'm certain the turnover does not help. I live within walking distance, and I see this place is crazy busy most of the time, and I don't always see the same faces. But one reviewer stated there is no hospitality/customer service, and I agree. As an employee, if you're not cooking, cleaning or washing the dishes, then every bit of what you are standing there for, is to provide good customer service - even better if you'd provide a friendly smile. What is wrong with people these days? Happy to stand and collect a check, and obviously not a good one. But as an employee, you accepted the job, after you APPLIED for the job. To the employees of the La Porte franchise McDonald's - APPLY yourselves, and how about you act like you give a damn, because there are other people who actually work hard, to give you their money! It's not rocket science! No wonder this place sucks!! I'd rather deal with a robot, because at least then, my order would come out right, and I could understand why no customer service was given - maybe it's too overwhelming? Like complete zombies at that place... lord!! read more
