Good food but you have to wait a bit so dont go with hungry kids trying to get a quick bite. We got 3 chocolate chip cinnamon rolls they are huge for fair price,we also go vanilla cappuccino it was very good(2 adults, a teenager and 2 small kids,we all shared 3 CMR and got full).My son got a omelet meal took over 20mins to get it and by then we were ready to go with 2 Small children unable to sit still in a booth after having sweet cinnamon rolls.Small place so no room for high chairs.Slow service,took well over 20mins for my son omelet to come,so we just said make it to go .Our server spent alot of time talking.Nice home town place with good food. read more

Decent food, somewhere between diner and family restaurant. Everything was the correct temperature and plentiful portions. Prices were in line with what I'd expect. The atmosphere was lacking severely and service was awkward. We had a stern farmer's wife type clucking at our selections when she took our order, and a girl who looked about seventeen calling us "sweetie" and "baby" at checkout. I live this little cafe! If you go between 9-11 you are going to have to wait in line for a table. The coffee is good here. All the desserts are homemade and delicious. Cookies, pies, cinnamon rolls. My food has been cold a few times and one time my waffle was very dry, but everything can't be perfect every time you go, right? Most of the help have been there for years so refills and everything is never a problem. It's a little cramped but its THE place to go for breakfast. Chicken Fried Steak breakfast is probably my faborite if I'm not craving something sweet. They also serve lunch. When I'm craving a burger and fries I usually go here. read more

This place has ruined my meals for the rest of the week it was sooooo good. One of those perfect places that time hasn't changed too much and the food shows it. Awesome cinnamon rolls in the morning, bread is huge and buttery goodness and don't even get me started on the cherry pie. A REAL pie joint. I only wish I had more time there, as I saw the open-face roast beef sandwich land on someone else's table and I am still dreaming of it. I Will Be Back! This was my first time eating at Harry's during a visit It has in my opinion a great small town dinner ambiance, an older decor, neat and clean. We al had breakfast. The omelets were very good and loaded with toppings. The biscuits and gravy are top notch (pepper gravy). Our waitress said they can add sausage to it if you request. The prices are very fair (maybe even cheap if you are from a larger city). The wait staff is very good and kept our coffees full. This is an extremely good value with good food and service and in my opinion the ideal diner. I will go back the next time I'm in Pittsburg read more

What beats all day breakfast that is definitely homemade? Not much unless it's their made from scratch cookies, or open face post roast sandwiches. Another local dive that has been around for generations and is a must eat at place in Pittsburg. They sometimes have funky hours but don't miss out. read more

After eating at Harry's regularly for 20+ years, we won't be back. My husband and I were finishing up our breakfast and chatting over the rest of our coffee when we were asked (in not a polite way) to leave because they needed to seat another party. It's not like we were even there that long 45 minutes from sitting down to being asked to leave. We won't be back. Too bad such an icon has gone downhill after changing hands. read more

Harry's is a great place to get a slice of homemade pie or cinnamon rolls as big as a plate. They serve typical cafe dishes that we love. open face hot beef sandwich or chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes that are so good. they have pecan waffles for breakfast also along with the usual breakfast ham and eggs or etc. Right on the main road through town so it is easy to find. I really enjoyed my meal at Harry's. I had a triple decker with roast pork. It was a neat take on a club sandwich. I'd definitely go back.

I really never leave completely blown away by my meal, but I am always deeply satisfied by their consistency and overall value in their selections. We always eat breakfast when we are in Pittsburg. You always get a great meal at a reasonable price no matter what you order. Service is great and it is easy to see this is a true down home place. Don't leave without a cinnamon roll. But be careful. It is hard to stop with just one! read more

I've been going there regularly for a long time and I really enjoyed eating there when the older ladies ran the place but the new guys aren't really pleasant and don't care about customer service at all. The food is often ok but the service ranges from good to terrible. Just to many bad experiences there now so I won't be eating there again. read more
