I ordered the poutine and my friends ordered the darth vatos migas and biscuits and gravy. Everything we ate was so good and very cheap considering the food they give you and what it seemed like everything being made in house. After brunch we went to our cars and one of our cars would not start and the workers there even came out to help us. They are above and beyond on service and food! I wish this place wasn't so far away from us because I would come everyday! But we will be back after our next float trip!

When I asked if I could get a simple order of scrambled eggs with avocado, the cashier openly complained about taking the request, saying she'd "get yelled at" for doing it. To top it off, the staff member who brought the food out confronted our table by asking, "Who didn't like my menu?" The food was totally underwhelming and certainly not worth dealing with that kind of attitude. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its customers. I would not recommend this place.

Although, I did not enjoy the portioning for the price and that's why it's at 4 stars. We had Darren H as our server, and he was awesome. If this guy gets fired, laid off, or anything I'm never coming here again. The Ambiance was not bad at all. I was hoping for a crying baby or overly loud music at least at some point, but it was very calm the entire two hours we were there. Place was clean and the table we were at was clean.

I ordered the Grandma's Sampler, and everything was delicious. I'm not a fan of ham, so I gave that portion to my fiancé, but the pancakes were especially good. I also asked for plain hash browns since the regular ones usually come with cheese and other toppings, and they were exactly what I wanted. We arrived before the morning rush and were seated right away. Our server was great initially, but unfortunately, the service fell short once our food arrived. She refilled our waters and brought ketchup when I asked for it, but she also brought our bill at the same time. We had only had our food for maybe three minutes at that point, and she never came back to check on us. Having worked as a server and in the restaurant industry myself, this is a pretty big no no. A server isn't finished with a table just because the food has been delivered. I could have ordered more orange juice, we needed more syrup (which I ended up needing), and we both needed more water. A simple check-in after the food arrived would have made a huge difference and not just being done with us. It honestly would have been a 5 star experience if it weren't for that. The food was great, we were seated quickly, and I really like that you can pay right at the table using the QR code. We'll definitely be back next year after our float trip on our way home to Kansas City, but hopefully the service will be a little more attentive next time!
