We had come by about 1PM but they were not ready yet. My wife and I can be Churro snobs, having grown up in Southern CA and had them fresh all the time from street vendors, taco trucks and even at the beach or events. They were always hot, crispy and covered in cinnamon and sugar. Around the Joplin Carthage area we've tried them everywhere and they go from horrible to rancid and we've yet to find a good Churro here. We shared that story as a challenge and the friendly woman just gave us a knowing smile and coyly said, you better come back tonight. We did, and when we got there about 6:15 there was a line and tons of cars! Rare for a Joplin food truck! About half the customers were Hispanic, another good sign. We got a bag for each of us, four people. We made a mistake! We could have shared one bag and felt sensible but as we drive off munching on warm churro while I complained that everyone was getting my truck covered in cinnamon and sugar, we all agreed. We will be back next Thursday for more! We like the basic traditional version but they also had dipping sauces and ice cream covered versions. Next time we'll come earlier and try the tacos or torta sandwich from the rest of the menu. Then more fresh made, warm, comforting, taste of home Churros! lol.

They have a food challenge. 6 pound burrito in 10 min. So far no one had been able to finish it.
