Around the table we also had burgers, a Mediterranean bowl, and pork belly tacos, and everyone loved their meals. We were so full we didn't even make it to dessert. Overall, great vibe, great food, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out--just plan on taking an Uber or Lyft since parking is limited.

First off, this is not a real Cuban sandwich. The bread was completely wrong. Real Cuban bread, especially if you've ever had one from Ybor City in Tampa, has a very specific texture and press. I even explained before ordering that I only wanted the outside pressed and toasted, while the inside stays cool. That's how an authentic Cuban is made. Instead, they brought out a sandwich that was heated completely through. The meat, cheese, everything inside was hot. It completely ruined the sandwich. When I politely asked about it, the employee seemed irritated and had an attitude about remaking it. They eventually brought another one out, but honestly it still was not good. The bread tasted wrong and the sandwich itself just wasn't enjoyable. It got worse from there. My grandson ordered chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were bad, and the fries tasted like old grease that should have been changed hours earlier. My wife ordered a shredded chicken and cheese sandwich that honestly smelled questionable, like the chicken may have been turning. The final straw was the fruit cup having visible mold growing in it. At that point we lost our appetite and decided to leave. Very disappointing experience overall. Poor food quality, bad execution, and not worth the money. We will not be returning.

Excellent food and great service. We ordered off of their Budget Menu which not only was great in price but in overall cuisine quality. I had a virgin strawberry Daiquiri and Pot Roast and my husband had the CHicken POt pie and all were excellent. Simple dishes but done to perfection. Our Waitress was Mama D and her customer service was A+. (These items are only offered in the winter). I also love their weekend brunch and one of my favorites off the menu is the Crab Cakes Hollandaise. Another groovy thing about brunch here is the bakery basket full of fresh pastries, muffins and other goodies that comes with your meal. For an additional charge you can have the bottomless Mimosas, I did it one time and I got totally buzzed, guess I can't hold my liquor the way I used to in my yewt(east coast accent for youth) but it did make for a very memorable dining experience. The view of the Harbor is nice and in the summer it is a real bee hive of activity with all of the boats, jet skiers and paddle boarders going by. In the winter I have set there and seen dolphins. I should also ad that one of my favorite waitresses of all times works here by the name of Bonita, she is just excellent!!!!! Someone should open up a school for customer service and have Bonita as the professor. Yeah the place can be a little touristy, I mean let's face it, it's on the Harbor, but for some reason that just doesn't matter to me and it will always hold a special place in my heart because it's the first place that I ate at when I moved here and how lucky can a girl be, to have Harry Ts be the one to pop your first time in Destin dining cherry. read more

Great view and dog friendly (the only reason we ate there in the first place), but as far as the food goes, very disappointing. Living on the Emerald Coast, there are so many delicious options for fresh seafood that a place like Harry Ts (or any other restaurant on the Harbor) really can't compete anymore. The prices were very high, and the food you get for those prices was of much lower quality than anywhere else NOT at a Tourist hub. Understandably, these restaurants are made to wow the tourists. The view is great, atmosphere is interesting and the staff are so friendly! But the food? The food is passable for anybody that doesn't know where else to get REAL SEAFOOD. Its the McDonalds of seafood. We had a party of about 10 locals last night, and not one of our dinners was even remotely satisfying. So the long and short of it? If you are a tourist, then you probably don't have a choice but to eat here, because where else will you go? But if you are a local, stick to the local favorites and don't waste your time and especially MONEY on tourist traps like this. It was such a disappointment not being able to find anything nice to eat here and especially for the outrageously high prices. Don't be lazy, get on your boats and catch some fish of your own. Or visit the local Fish Market. So much better and with homemade slaw and salsa! read more

We visited his location on Saturday October 24. We were in Destin for a quick weekend trip. Harborwalk Village is an excellent location for an evening with options for kids and adults alike. That said, our visit to Harry T's was less than pleasant 1) There were plenty of open tables and we still had to wait. Perhaps there wasn't enough servers, but nearly 20 mins after waiting we were seated at a table that was visibly open the entire time we waited. 2) Service was slow and our server wasn't genuinely happy to serve us. It felt like we inconvenienced her. We got our appetizer just minutes before our meal arrived. 3) Food was standard. Nothing special. Would have expected more for what we paid. 4) Our bill was wrong and it took a while for the server to have a manager help get it correct. They ultimately gave is our appetizer free for the inconvenience, but that was too late. Don't think we will go back. read more

I recently visited Harry T's and had a mixed experience. For drinks, I ordered a Bushwhacker while my partner chose a Harbor Mule. Both drinks were just okay, not particularly impressive. The whip cream on the Bushwhacker tasted a bit off, and the drink itself was more like an ice cream milkshake. I probably should have read the description more carefully. For food, we tried the Tenderloin Benedict and the Sunrise Breakfast. The Tenderloin Benedict, which came with a fresh biscuit, poached egg, sautéed mushrooms, and hollandaise, was alright but nothing spectacular. The Sunrise Breakfast included eggs, bacon, rosemary potatoes, and grits. While the breakfast was pretty basic, the rosemary potatoes and thicker-style grits were quite delicious. Overall, Harry T's is a decent spot if you need a quick bite to eat, but we might explore other breakfast options before considering a return visit. read more

We come semi-regularly to Harry T's via jetski (it is really great to have some jet-ski parking). The food is always above average but we miss some of the favorites that are no longer on the menu. The servers are friendly, but the honey, sweetie, lovey language is just way over the top. This is 2013 and even in an area that depends on tourist trade someone should ask if people really wanted to be addressed as though it is 1957. Isn't there a way to address customers that says - hey, we are happy you are here and I will provide good service, but I won't demean myself - even if my boss somehow things this is a good idea? Next time we are in the area I will vote to try someplace else - not because of the food, but because middle aged women should not have to wear stuff in their hair and make stupid cooing noises to their customers. read more

My family and I eat here about once a month. We watch our favorite football games and listen to great local bands. The brunch is awesome! The owner and mgr's have never been anything less than spectacular to us and we really admire them for everything they do for our community including helping raise money for college scholarships. I've never seen ANYONE turned away from the restaurant contrary to several other reviews. We have friends that support other teams that have sat with us during games and have never had an issue. I encourage everyone who goes to try the breakfast tacos during brunch and the lobster roll during dinner. They're yummy. The restaurant is also kid friendly and pet friendly. It's also got an awesome view of the harbor! read more

Where to begin. Service was absolutely horrible as our waitress took forever to take our order. The appetizers that we ordered had not arrived after waited 30 minutes. When we asked our waitress as to the whereabouts of our appetizers she admitted that she had forgotten to turn in the order. Since we were already running late we cancel the appetizers and waited another 30 minute for our food to arrive. Two of the orders were wrong and all of them were cold. We asked to speak to a manager who couldn't have cared less. To make matters worse 3 members of our party suffered from crippling and explosive diarrhea later that evening from the food. The name says it all, though it should be Hairy T's. I found hair in my food. My girlfriend and step kids thought it was mine, since it was blonde like my majestic mullet, but this was inside my burger, so Im not sure it was mine. The setting is casual, which I enjoyed since I didnt have to put on sleeves or change my jorts. Overall, the food was blah, but I can get hair in my food at cheaper places, so I think Ill stick to those. What a shame though, since this is one of the few places with High Life on tap. We've frequented this restaurant while on vacation for the last 6 years. In years past, the food & service was consistent. In March and now June, we dined here. The food & the service was terrible. Got there at 6 and was surprised how Excellent the place looked. We were seated at A table in the back. Our section's ambience was Underwhelming. The waiter we had was named Xavier. He was rude and angry - Thankfully, 28-35 minutes later we were moved. It seemed like we walked for MILES. It was Grueling. By the time we sat down, we weren't Even hungry anymore. Came here with a group (approx 12 people) from a bachelor party weekend celebration and the place was a disaster. I believe they were understaffed and the server was undertrained. Took half of the drink orders and left them came back with their drinks and took the second half of the drink orders. The upstairs view of the Destin pass is gorgeous at sunset. Went there to watch an LSU football game. Met the owner, he was very nice and hospitable. I usually order top shelf margaritas, but I tried their house margarita and it was very good. The Baha Burger with bacon and avocado is delicious with its spicy fries. Went there on Sunday to grab some food and few drinks. The food came out cold and I never send anything back but my buddy, Leonard, decided to let the wait staff know. Will, our server, seemed to be having a rough weekend and started getting extremely aggravated. It was almost like roid rage or something. I stopped in on my way home from a business trip. Rough trip so I was hoping to have some fun. I got a drink called the You, Me, and Dupree. It was tall, thin, and came out fast. Unfortunately it was too much for me to handle. I also got a burger. It was decent, but it came with burnt toast. What a bummer. I've been to Harry T's several times when forced to with friends. The food is marginal at best and the staff is abysmal. There have been several occasions when they have been out of something and it has taken 10-15 minutes after the order for the server to let us know. There are several better places to have dinner. Fried food, fried food, and crappy music. There are no good food choices and if you're there late enough some good singers venture out to sing horrible country song after country song. While on vacation, I expect good service and quality food. I received neither here. Shrimp and flounder basket was greasy and tasteless. Service was extremely slow, even though there was no crowd. Will never go back. You only get one chance to make a first impression. They failed miserably. read more

Everything was really good, and the service was great. They brought the boys bibs and gloves for the crab--which definitely helped with the mess! Both of them kept talking about how good the sauce was. They went with mild, but fair warning: their mild eats more like a medium, so there's still a little kick. Good seafood, generous portions, great service, and a fun atmosphere. For the price, it was absolutely worth it. We had a great time and would definitely go back.

My brother raved about this spot and though they are pricey (overpriced by about $20 compared to the boils i get in MD), i would pay it again lol

Overall, our guy did a very good job. Appetizers. The best part of the meal. The mushrooms were very good and the hush puppies were as good as I've ever had. The shrimp were so so. The sides were average at best. It was somewhere between McDonald's and Applebees. My ribeye was ordered medium but arrived shoe leather. I left half of it. The grouper was good but not great. Great views, a little cramped, people at the bar with no shirt and no shoes.
