This was to confirm my appointment on the 21st of November, as well as the ETA window for their installation team, which was 0830-1130. On the day of installation, the installation team arrived at 08:21. The Team Lead (Ahwner) introduced himself, and we walked to the windows that were to be replaced. He explained that before beginning the installation, he would need to confirm the measurement for accuracy. Once he completed the remeasurements, he advised me that they would start the installation. Including the TL (Ahwner), there were four members on this install team. They quickly began setting up their work areas. They placed tarps over my laminate floors, entryways, furniture, and even the grass outside. This was to ensure that no debris or loose materials would be left behind. All the work was completed by 09:43. Upon completion, the TL asked me to walk the project with him to confirm my satisfaction. He asked if I had any questions about the completed project, then asked me to sign the order of completion sheet. Part of this process included a link/QR code to scan for the final balance payment. There was an issue with the QR code, so he suggested I call their customer service for assistance. Once on the phone with their customer service, they provided an email link that I used to resolve the remaining balance. What can be said that hasn't already been said? Overall, I am delighted with Window Nation's service. Their quality workmanship, customer service, and follow-up in addressing any questions or concerns I may have had throughout this process.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. This was a job for replacement of old siding on an old house. I got a recommendation from another contractor and gave them a try for a competitive bid. Their bid was in line with others, and Tyler, their representative was very helpful, quick to respond, and just a polite and gracious person. This was the first time I had had to carry out a siding project and I had a lot of questions (and changed my mind a bit too... he did not get annoyed, thank you Tyler!). The contract and approval were online, which I appreciate. The work was scheduled and done in four days, and the work is excellent. Tyler checked in with me twice a day to see how things were going. He made suggestions and incorporated my ideas as the job was going on. One reviewer here complained about the person answering the phone and I have to agree, she is not the best (in 2023), but I never had to deal with her after the first call. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. It is not a simple fix but an upgrade, for free. See the attached before/after pictures and the broken plastic. Like most customers, I contacted a few contractors before selecting Winfield Builders. No windows in front of our house, no replacement windows for the other parts of our house, no front siding, because this is not complete it has caused water damage to our home. Our stone is not completed, front door again not completed. It's a complete mess and has caused a lot of headache because now we are left to figure this out and find another contractor. We are in the process of getting a lawyer as well for water damage and headache of having to deal with this all which again now cost money, when all they have to do is keep in touch but they haven't been able to even do that!! I had to listen to one particular drip so long that it gave me nightmares. I even had a basement flood that cost me $15,000 because of the gutters being messed up. But every single person I hired insisted they were correctly cleaned and aligned and that I was asking for too much. For $150 The Gutter Guys ACTUALLY cleaned and aligned the gutters PROPERLY. They threw in new screws to hold the downspouts together and re-secured them to the exterior walls. I have been telling everyone to hire these guys. I didn't even have to be home when they did their thing. I just left a check taped to my front door. They cleaned up after themselves and left my front porch looking better than before they showed up. From now on it's them and only them.
