The bartenders were very nice when I stomped in there to order a burger after a late shift (when precious little else is open). I don't drink alcohol so I was probably not their favorite person. The karaoke entertained me while I waited for the food. The burger was quite good actually and so were the fries. They were even kind enough to keep the cheese off when I asked. Went for pinball- it was clear there is a regular who felt it was their game but never asked if they could play. Instead of turning the touch tunes off they just turned the volume all the way down so I got to spend my coins without hearing anything. There was definitely a lot of debris in the way of the pinball machines. It was fun till the crowd there made it real uncomfortable. read more

Where to begin. the bartenders are strongly a hit or miss. There's a male bartender who seems to have connections within the establishment (maybe family?), who is just not it. He seemed to be on something (illicit substances) and interacts with customers in a sexual way while on shift. His bartending skills are also very weak, seems like he just wants to give you a drink as fast as he can, not considering how a proper drink should be made. read more

Definitely glad I waited to visit until fully vaccinated, I would have left immediately otherwise. This is the ultimate dive bar! They have great prices on drinks, and the food is awesome. Check out the bathrooms, they have chalkboard walls, and drunk people write some pretty hilarious things up there. Karaoke, video poker, jukebox, Xbox, tons of TVs, pool tables... Lots of entertainment! Plus: most nights, the patrons themselves can be pretty entertaining to watch too. Bleh. I don't like this bar. Sure, if you're into dive bars, this is one of them, but in my experiences coming here, the bartenders alone have creeped me out. Sure they have food, tables, and pool tables, but this is not the place you take your friends to show off the awesome nightlife in Corvallis. As a bar, this place is divey and definitely friendly. The bartenders are REALLY busy, so expect to wait to order your drink. You have to ask them for the food menu, which mainly consists of loaded fries, tacos, and sandwiches. My friend and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and a beer. The sandwich consisted of two chicken tenders drenched in hot sauce - not what I expected. The fries were pretty good though - they remind me of McDonald fries. Read a review on Yelp this was a good place to have breakfast so off we went. Got there about 8:10 am, no one else in the place so we thought this is good, we'll have fresh everything. Wrong. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with bacon, hubby ordered the bacon-eggs-hashbrowns-toast. The bacon was very overcooked, toast was almost burned, the gravy was adequate. The service was good except for discussing personal things at the bar that we could overhear. The carpet needs some serious attention. Legend has it that decades ago, a truck full of light beer collided with a train transporting human waste on the corner of Harrison and 6th. From the nutrient-rich wreckage sprouted a hop tree, and in that hop tree, a magestic bald eagle made a nest and raised 69 beautiful bald eagle babies. After the bald eagles flew away to grow old, make sweet bid-love and birth more magestic eagle babies, the tree was chopped down, and used to build Harrison Bar and Grill. Harrisons is arguably the most illustrious fine dining establishment in the greater Benton County area. From its lofty ceilings to the wall art that would make Michaelangelo jealous, this place oozes class. I once saw a beleaguered man with a beard to his waist and a blanket-stick holding his worldly possessions over his shoulder waddle his way into Harrisons. Upon making his way to the bar, and placing his lips on the ice-cold rim of a chilled lager pint, a curious miracle occured! In a puff of soot and hobo-grease, the man transformed into a handsome prince. "This beer has freed me from my curse! Now I must return to my kingdome, whence I came." Great service! We had breakfast and the prices were reasonable and the food tasted good! I had the breakfast plate that only costs $6.00 for two egg, hash browns, toast, and two pieces of bacon or sausage. My boyfriend had the breakfast bowl for $7.00 and that came with country potatoes, bacon and sausage, topped with gravy and two eggs, and toast! We looked at the whole menu for future visits and they have a $5.00 section that has a classic burger with option of fries or tots and also $1.00 mini burgers. Great prices! I love the free pool they offer on Sundays and tuesdays and the Xbox kinect that they have for customers to play with. They have a variety of people that show up there but, for the most part everyone seems happy and very friendly. It's a very homey bar and I will be making this my regular spot. read more

I used to consider Harrison as my go-to if I decided to go out. Not anymore though. I recently went there with my wife to get a beer. I got a mug of heff, which not long ago was $6. Well the owners of the business have raised the price to $9. So a 30% increase in cost. My major problem is, I know for a fact that they are not paying their kitchen staff 30% more. They can make more and more profit, but the people doing the actual work will struggle to survive. It's a lousy way of life to offer the people devoted to your success. read more

Harrison's is the definition of dive bar. Fun place to go every once in awhile to met some interesting people. Normally an older more rugged crowd. Karaoke there is pretty fun, good luck playing pool the regulars usually have the tables tied up. What a great 'Happy Hour' spot! Everyone is so friendly... it reminds me of "Cheers"! The food is good and very reasonably priced. With a full bar there's something for everyone! There are numerous televisions with Cable and Satellite... so they're sure to have your favorite sports. There's an outdoor patio where you can have a smoke with your food/drink. However, I have been to enough clean restaurants with crappy food, so I might as well try this place, right?. I'll tell you, I am glad we did! The service was slow but very friendly. The biscuits and gravy were awesome, especially for the price! I had a large biscuit smothered in well seasoned country gravy. My husband ordered the Red Neck Benny ~ biscuits covered with chicken fried steak, 2 eggs cooked to order, all smothered with country gravy and a side of hash browns...all for $6.99! Our total bill, tip included, was less than $15.00. If you can get past the smell of beer, and don't pay too much attention to the scummy looking patrons visiting the poker machines, then I highly suggest this place for breakfast.
