My doctor called in a new prescription (around 1pm) and told me to start it that night; I went to pharmacy at 4pm and was told it would be ready tomorrow. So I went home. When I questioned this and said I was supposed to already have started the medication, they said they could have it ready later today but it would be several hours (what?!).
