For those who have had bad experiences at CVS (I was one) please read this. I just moved to the Wilmington, NC area and had a lot of trouble converting my prescriptions over. As a diabetic, insulin is a matter of life and death. Due to timing, the wrong prescription was sent to CVS and then sold to me without me knowing it, I purchased the wrong insulin. The store couldn't take it back and even though it was technically a new prescription the insurance wouldn't cover it. I called in a panic because I was almost out of insulin and Thank GOD I got Nina. She was calm and quickly understood the situation and the history. She was able to get me an emergency dosage the next day with insurance coverage. She called me to come to get the prescription which took about 20 minutes. By the time I got there, she had found a discount coupon that reduced the price from $195 to $75. No words could express my thanks and hope you will do as I did and give CVS another chance if you have had a bad experience at this store. read more

Pharmacist was totally rude. This is the second CVS even went to a Walgreens trying to find my prescription for CVS was completely unable to help me track it, which is why I want it to Walgreenz and this CVS pharmacist was the rudest man I've come encounter with I was seven minutes late. I have an infected tooth and no help for me. read more

Taken aback by how abrupt Miller was at the pharmacy. She seemed to be in a rush and carelessly tossed my merchandise into the bag as well.

This was the worst Pharmacy I have ever tried to do business with. CVS is where my insurance recommends for the lowest price, so I moved my prescriptions from Publix on Market Street, which I loved and always used, to CVS on Eastwood Road, Wilmington, NC. It literally took 5 days with me calling them everyday for them to do the paper work and fill the script. I even got a person who said it was her first day there and said they were busy and couldn't fill it that day. When I went to pick it up they wanted to charge me $54 when Publix is $33. They are rude and so I said please transfer it back to Publix. They said they would have to call them. So I called Publix to say I wanted go back to them. They called CVS and filled the script in less than 10 hours. CVS is a big rip off. No wonder health insurance is costing so much when you have pharmacies like this over charging for your meds. Check around before taking your prescription here. The people working here don't care if they rip off insurance companies, they don't care about patients, and they take days to fill a prescription. I'm contacting the NC State Department of Insurance and report them. Buyer beware! read more

Pharmacy team is always super with updates, even if a prescription is on a nation-wide back order. Other pharmacies refuse to answer phone when you need immediate help. Lines move pretty fast for this to be a smaller location. Miles is sure to make your day at checkout. read more

We were sitting in the drive through and it was close to their lunch break at 133... She served the car in front of us and since it was 135, she shut the blind in our face. How rude. I am perplexed at the inflexibility of the CVS teammate. I understand you are "closed" from 130 to 200 for lunch. But why serve one a few minutes over and then not us. It would have only been a minute or two. I would like to know why this policy even exists. It feels like it was left over from COVID and they are taking advantage of that. Surely they have enough staff these days to stagger lunch periods which every employee deserves and is entitled to...and I would venture to guess they get more than 30 minutes. Tell me if I am wrong. Just want to be educated on the policy, situation and reason for what appears to be rude behavior and poor customer service. This is only one of the poor customer service examples I can share lately from this particular CVS. I am considering changing to a competitor. Thanks. read more

I very rarely go to this location because I know how bad the service is but I was desperate this morning and had a great reminder of why I don't go there. 3 people in pharmacy 6 at cash registers and me (with severe vertigo)and an elderly woman waiting for bear 10 minutes to get anyone to help us. THE WORST! Went to madac for my son and the doctor prescribed me antibiotics for him at the cvs right across the street (this location). Had to drive around 3 separate times to the drive thru to get the medication with a total wait of an hour. The first time they let us know they don't take my insurance okay fine, I let them know I would pay cash. The women at the window told us to pull up a coupon on good rx and come back around in 20 mins when it would be ready. Came back around a half an hour later and there was a guy at the window that stated he couldn't take the good rx coupon. We finally had the women come back over and she processed it but told us we would have to come back later once again to process this coupon. They employees were rude and acted like we were inconveniencing them. They also were running around and super unorganized. Will be my last time coming here. read more

Miles has been crushing it. Every time I come in he is the only one up front, more often than not helping serval customers at once while keeping his composure. Very polite and efficient. His work ethic makes it an enjoyable stop on the way home in these short staffed times. read more

Every single month I go to pick up my prescription and they are out. By the time someone from inventory catches up I will be getting my prescription elsewhere. I can't keep waiting on them read more

Nothing special. A little hard to get into from the one entrance. Some "interesting" people waiting in the pharmacy section who like to expound on their issues, the medical industry, etc. Pharmacists were OK but didn't seem like they had a lot of time or energy to really help/consult. If i was looking for a new pharmacy, probably would go someplace else aside from the overall location. read more

Please please people choose your pharmacy carefully and check your meds before you step out of the pharmacy. I just had a long and disappointing discussion with at this CVS at Eastwood/Military cutoff pharmacy with a tech and pharmacist that having a Libre 2 sensor without the reader that I had to wait to get for 3 weeks will do me no good! They made me wait to get it ready after telling me it would be ready only in the morning and after I paid $75 and they were closing said the reader monitor would be in probably on Monday! What good will that be to have a sensor for blood sugars and no monitor to the reading??When you are a nurse knows how to navigate the system and still get the run around is hard to take. Can you imagine someone who is trying to manage their health and has no one speaking for them? It's a sign of the times. I'm getting out of this pharmacy. It has to be the worst in town without a doubt! Reader be warned! Run from CVS a bunch of dangerous people playing with prescriptions and have zero clue of medical conditions and needs! read more

Been using this pharmacy for three years because of its proximity to Wrightsville Beach were we live. Finally transferred everything out of there this morning. Every time we go there for us or one of our three kids they don't have the information on file, didn't run insurance correctly, have bad attitudes, don't apologize for their mistakes etc. Hope they can get their act together bc it's a shame. read more

I went to drop of a prescription and was told that the medication was in stock, I got a text message about 10 minutes later that it actually was not and it would be a week before it would be back in stock. I called to tell a different person that I was going to pick it up to take it elsewhere. I returned to the store and they couldn't even tell me if the medication was available elsewhere. I have now taken my prescription to 4 different places, spoken to 8 different pharmacists.... CVS pharmacy needs to step it's game up read more

I have been coming to this location a few times and the service was wonderful! My prescriptions were filled on time and my insurance was quickly processed. The pharmacy manager was genuinely interested in making sure he would do everything he could to help get the best deal for my medicine. Truly a great staff. read more

This CVS is a joke to CVS Corporation! I'm from Raleigh originally and used CVS #2741, the pharmacist are the best! Robert and Kung go out of their way to personalize you as an individual. Definitely can't say that for the this store #3822 in Wilmington. The pharmacist and staff speak down to their customers and never admit a mistake. After living here for 3.5 yrs, they have no clue who me or my husband are. We both have reoccurring monthly prescriptions and repetitively gotten our prescriptions wrong, it's pathetic really. Never again, will be transferring all our prescriptions elsewhere here. read more

Stopped by to pickup a prescription my Dr sent here. They electronically sent one and gave a printed one. I was waiting in line at the drop off and I over heard the Pharmacist tech/pharmacist telling a customer "our computers have been down I don't see your prescription" this customer ended up leaving with no prescription. I was up next and the lady did not mention anything to me about an extended wait or the computes being down. She said she hadn't received the electronic prescription and then all of a sudden it came through as we were standing there. She said my doctors office should know better and should've told me it takes up to an hour to fill a prescription. At this point I felt like I was being scolded for not knowing or being told this. I felt like I was a big inconvenience to her. I explained I lived far away and I wanted to know how long the wait would be. After I mentioned if it would be too long of a wait and I could go to Target she assured me she could get it done by 7:30. I went out to my car and wait for 30 minutes and return and guess what?!?! PRESCRIPTION is NOT ready! The First Lady I spoke to upon coming back was very nice, but then another lady stepped in and she was rude just like the First Lady who I spoke with. She told me about the systems being down, I then told her I was promised 7:30 and if it would've been longer I would've just drove home and went to TARGET (WAY BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF). I asked for the General manager's number and two nice gentlemen gave it to me with no issue and asked if they could help. My advice is don't get a prescription filled here! Poor service! My recommendation to the General Manager is to keep the two rude ladies away from customers, let the nice young lady talk to customers and give the nice gentlemen a raise! They were very nice!!! Went back to get it and Alyssa checked me out, SHE IS SUPER SWEET! Give her a raise and keep her up front to deal with the customers! She's an asset to your company! I will only go back to offer ALYSSA a job at my company! read more
