I finally decided to have it shipped to my home as they had to order one of the ingredients. They have a good selection of health care needs, even dog products. Note: this pharmacist provided more meaningful information about my prescriptions - purposes, benefits and risks - than my general physician has in years. As a diabetic, insulin is a matter of life and death. Due to timing, the wrong prescription was sent to CVS and then sold to me without me knowing it, I purchased the wrong insulin. The store couldn't take it back and even though it was technically a new prescription the insurance wouldn't cover it. I called in a panic because I was almost out of insulin and Thank GOD I got Nina. She was calm and quickly understood the situation and the history. She was able to get me an emergency dosage the next day with insurance coverage. She called me to come to get the prescription which took about 20 minutes. By the time I got there, she had found a discount coupon that reduced the price from $195 to $75. No words could express my thanks and hope you will do as I did and give CVS another chance if you have had a bad experience at this store.

At first, I thought maybe it was because of my bathing suit, but then I realized it was because my mom was speaking Spanish. That's when it hit me--she wasn't just staring, she was judging us for simply speaking our language. When we needed help at the self-checkout, I heard her mutter under her breath, "Ugh, Mexicans." I was honestly shocked. I've never experienced that kind of open racism before, and I never thought I would. It's disgusting that someone who treats people like that is allowed to work in customer service. No one--especially families just trying to shop--should be made to feel uncomfortable or unwelcome because of their background or language. People like her have no business working with the public. I'm never coming back, and I truly hope something is done about this.
