If I could give zero stars, I would. Harrington's sent my grandmother a bad package of bacon and flat out refused to do anything about it. They offered her $10 back, but refused to stand by their product and send her a new pack. When I called them, Tracy hung up on me twice and called my grandmother a liar. I implore you, never ever buy anything from here. Just throw your money in the street, it's a better use of your time and resources. We have purchased many whole hams for our use and for gifts from Harrington's that were great. May last purchase in November was 2 pounds of ham pieces. The pieces were so infused with smoke that they are not edible. I will be very reluctant to order from them again. read more

Shipped in cardboard box with one small ice pack. Ham & ice pack fully thawed. Temp of ham was 58 degrees upon arrival. In the past we have received this ham in an insulated container with multiple ice packs. Terrible to waste this very good ham with poor shipping. The ham and breakfast products are delicious. I used to be able to buy local at Wilson's Farm. But several years back they stopped. Ordering online line is a bit frustrating. They we're both very rude. I have been buying and cooking their hams for 30 years now because of the quality. But they spoke to me with utter contempt and rudeness when I got a ham with a cavity and wanted a replacement. You cannot treat customers that way! I'll never buy from them again. I ordered my first Harrington ham more than 40 years ago and have regularly ordered them as gifts. When I placed my recent order on October 1, my confirmation stated that it would be delivered by October 11 at the latest. The ham, whose promised delivery the week before my father's 93rd birthday was intended to be a surprise for which a very special meal could then be planned, was finally delivered on October 16 (the day of my father's birthday) in the evening. It was delivered frozen, and so it would have been impossible to use even had he been expecting the gift. I wrote to Customer Service by email on October 12. I never received even an automated reply to my email or to my stamped letter. Part of the hefty delivery fee "is intended to ... provide customer service and support." I have received no such support. They "Guarantee 100% Satisfaction ... or your money back in full." No such promise was kept. I will never order from Harrington's again. read more

I am a long standing customer and was always pleased with my ham and smoked salmon orders. Not any more. Ordered a ham and several packets of smoked salmon. Arrived in an open cooler plastic bag with ONE small freezer pac. Ham and salmon were warm to the touch. On advice from a medical doctor I disposed of all the products. This company sent out tainted food which was not packaged appropriately. Customer service was appalling. Was told it was ok to eat products as they were smoked and vacuum packed ! Two day shipping in a non refrigerated environment arriving warm!!!! I have reported them to the relevant health authorities. This was an order of$350+ ....after countless emails they said I would be refunded. I hope so. read more

Horrible customer service to a longtime customer. We have ordered gifts from them for years and, unfortunately, they do not stand behind their products. If you receive a product with an issue, for example gray bacon in a blackened package, do not expect a replacement. Tracy in customer service hung up on us--twice! I ordered a ham for Christmas from Harrington's for the first time. I usually order from Missouri. I was intrigued by the corn cob smoking. In the instructions it said do not heat. I sliced it today and tasted it. I was VERY disappointed. I will not be serving this for Christmas as the taste is off-putting nobody in my family will eat it I will serve a chicken instead. read more

Bought for Easter 2022. The ham was terrible. Look at the picture of our ham and look at the picture on the web site (and I am picturing the meaty side!) A lot of fat with a smoke taste that drowns the flavor of the ham. The spiral cut hardly went into the ham. Basically had to pull it apart with a knife. Did not present well. We bought as an alternative for Honey Baked Ham. We are going back. Avoid the price plus shipping and find a local ham to serve. Also bought their Turkey. Nice white meat with a mild smoke flavor (better than the ham) but again not very memorable for the price. Had better turkey from other sources. I have a LOT of left overs to dispose of this week. Received as a gift. Package included small boneless rolled/processed ham, maple syrup and a piece of cheese. The shipment arrived in a box with the bottom disintegrating, a single extra small ice-pack melted and ruptured and the three items just thrown into the box without any effort given to adequate packaging for shipment. We live in the desert where our average daytime temperatures are between 70 and 80 degrees. There was no notification of upcoming delivery and the box was not marked as perishable. The cheese was watery from getting hot so we discarded it. The ham was the worst we have ever had with a heavy chemical taste as if Liquid Smoke was used. We ended up throwing it out as well. I would never recommend this company or their products and would caution everyone to be aware of the potential for food borne illness due to the inadequate shipping protocols. read more

I ordered a ham on November 3 and asked for shipping the week of December 12. It is now December 17 and I am still waiting for the ham. We are leaving town tomorrow for a week. The spiril sliced boneless ham is the best I have ever had. Moist, not salty at all and a great maple flavor! One of those over priced places. Ham is satisfactory, but I can make better ham myself and spend a lot less. Parking lot is always empty, I was afraid to order from here because I thought the products may be old. The Richmond police sit in their parking lot, especially on Sundays. They have a great view of the bottom of a hill where the speed suddenly changes to 30mph. They will pull you over, even if you are going 31mph..I see it all the time! Be careful of this if you choose to come here. read more
