It was, unfortunately, an unpleasant experience. The reception, upon entering the tasting room, was not a warm one. The older woman who poured the tastes was not terribly engaging. She had only one word answers about their varietals and where they were grown/sourced. Her gentleman counterpart, who hailed from Scotland, and the pipe organ were the high points of our visit. The most shameful part of our time at this tasting room took place as we exited the property and encountered a man driving a jeep the WRONG way into the entrance. Rather than apologizing, he was not only rude and obnoxious he claimed to be the wine maker. What a total s--- show!! It was a complete SHOCK to have such an experience, given the fact the wine industry is struggling. Now is most certainly the time to distance yourself from the competition. Discord and conflict are not in your favor. Harmony is an ironic choice of name. Consider rebranding. read more

On October 3rd, we had the worst storm of the year - and the perfect wedding at Harmony Wynelands. Harmony can hold weddings for over 200+ people but we chose it for our 50 person wedding and it was the perfect, intimate venue. What makes it so accommodating is the proximity of the wedding ceremony, the winery (tasting room) and dining area. The Brides room that leads to the ceremony is also very nice. It keeps the bride hidden until the ceremony begins. I can tell you it brought tears to my eyes watching my bride appear from the winery walking up the aisle to me. We chose Harmony over two other very popular wedding venues (OF & W&R) and so glad we did. After the wedding ceremony, the storm hit like crazy and the wedding didn't skip a beat due to the staff at Harmony. In minutes the tables in the outside dining area were moved to covered areas and the wedding continued seamlessly. And I have to say the company Harmony had cater our dinner was on point and made the most delicious tri-tip. For anyone who is worried about having your wedding ruined by a rainy day - you don't have to have that worry at Harmony. It was the worst storm in over a year (gusty winds, heavy rain, thunder & lightning) and it was still the perfect wedding. The difference is the the ownership at Harmony. Linda and Shaun ensured the staff was on every detail and I can't thank them enough. I had the best wedding I could have ever hoped for even in the worst conditions and everyone at the wedding enjoyed themselves. Overall, Linda was instrumental in making recommendations to our wedding (which we followed) and was invested in us personally as much as the overall success of our wedding. Had we married anywhere else, on this day in such conditions, I can't say it would have turned out as successfully as at Harmony. Here's a spot in Lodi that will rock your world. Everything is awesome! The wines are very balanced and worth having in your cellar or rack. The whites are tasty white spot on flavor. The reds are full of flavor and body ! This is a must while your in the Lodi area. Your server at the tasting bar is very accommodating. Her son the master wine maker is very talented. This great winery is family owned, with amazing service, and attention to detail. There is ample patio seating to comply with the current requirements, a lot of shade, and its peaceful that you're able to hear each other and hold conversations. We had a flight tasting with the Alicante, Pipe Dreams (my favorite), and Riesling. The pipe dreams was a great Zin with a lot of flavor, sweet but not too dry, and the detailing on the bottle was great. Our group was given 10/10 service during our time there, with water provided and explanations of the wine, grapes, and region. Due to us celebrating a bride to be, we were also given a glass of bubbly to toast with and a bottle for the bride to be for her wedding day. Very much a fan. I took the day off of work today to get some work done (I know) and this place was very much the right fit. The grounds were quiet, green, shaded, and peaceful... The staff was very helpful and friendly. Of all included in the tasting, the Alicante (spelling?) was my favorite. I would love to describe it for you, but my wine vocabulary is not up to par... Though to me it had a dark fruit forward remnant. My next trip and will include a bottle purchase of Pipe Dream. I will most certainly return. Update... I stop in on occasion to get work done. I grab a glass and snag a table outside and head into my own little world of productivity. Shaun is always the one working (winemaker as well) and is great. We had our 40th high school reunion on Oct 7, 2017 at Harmony Wynelands. It was a fantastic evening. Linda was gracious and worked with our committee via emails. Everything came together as planned. I read the reviews and can only say that we had a great time. Linda allowed us setup time the morning of our event, which started at 6pm. We were advised of the noise ordinances so our DJ stopped playing in time. There were no surprises. We had several things to setup and Linda made recommendations for where we might put things, brought us an extra extension cord and even helped us with more tables. My husband and I were wine club members for a few years and then we got married here. We come every so often for our wine pick up and to reminisce about our wedding day with friends and family. Linda is very generous to have so many brides and grooms marry in their beautiful space for such a reasonable price! We appreciated that so much was included in the wedding package we went with. Excellent bouquet winery. The owners handle most of the wine tasting and are both knowledgeable and friendly. The wine selection is varied and very good. Surprisingly there is a a powerful concert organ in the tasting room which is computer controlled which they play for their guests. They explained that they also hold weddings and social gatherings in the garden area outside which is highly regarded and therefore recommended. If you are going on a wine tasting foray you should definitely include Harmony Wynelands. You will not regret it. read more

This is such a beautiful venue for a wedding! It is nicely decorated, the lights in the trees give a really nice ambiance in the evening. We loved the organ displayed behind the bar. We had many guests purchase the wine to take home, they have great wine! One guest even purchased enough for their entire wedding, which took a place a few weeks later. I have been to Harmony Wynelands for events over the last few years. The setting is beautiful no matter the occasion. This past summer we held a wedding on the grounds. I appreciated that the wine for our guests was included in the cost of the venue. The newlyweds were able to have all aspects of their wedding wishes accommodated by the staff. We had access to the venue to set up prior to the wedding day and Linda suggested her cold storage area to help keep our flowers fresh. For future bridal parties we suggest that you have a 'Day of' coordinator to ensure that each aspect of the wedding runs in sequence and that the vendors are adequately briefed. Harmony Wynelands was a happy discovery in the Lodi wine country. You would never guess there was a full scale theatre organ in the middle of the vineyards, especially with full pipes and accompaniments. And yes, they also serve and sell wine too at their location on Harney Lane between 99 and 88. The vineyard has some limited estate offerings, mainly focused on Zin, with some grapes imported from other parts of California. Their standard 5-for-5 menu includes some alternatives, but it mainly focused on the region's favorites. The staff is great telling you about the wine, but the real star is the organ. It came from the Castro Theatre in San Francisco and is highly unique to experience and very cool. This location is probably popular for weddings and other events, especially with such a unique setup and beautiful gardens. Harmony is well worth a stop on your Lodi adventure. read more

I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!! My husband and I were married there in September of this and it couldn't have been a better experience for us. To be fair, the weather was PERFECT, but that was an added bonus to how beautiful the ceremony site and reception were as well as the amazing staff. My husband and I stopped by this as our first possible wedding venue and we fell in love with it immediately. It's gorgeous, Linda and her son Sean are great and the whole ambiance is wonderful. As for the wine, we LOVE it and the ZinBombs are a nice touch and delicious. For our wedding, we went with their Maestro package and it was the best thing we could have done. It included so many amazing vendors that know the business, know the site, and provided an amazing experience! My husband and I didn't have to worry about much since they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. I've never been wine tasting before and I am so happy I ran across this winery!! The drive in was gorgeous and the scenery around the vineland was picture worthy! I saw a deal on Groupon and snatched it fast!! $19.00 for the tasting and a bottle (our choice)! Nice!! We arrived to the winery at about 2:30 p.m. and noticed that our pourer was running around because of a wedding about to go down in 30 minutes. We were cool about it and obviously they were also with the size of the pours :) We tried 6 wines (3 whites & 3 reds) and a tasty sparkling wine as the grand finale... It was well worth the money and the time! I would give it 5 stars but we were left alone for minutes at a time and though it wasn't major, our glasses were thirsty lol! We decided to have our senior prom at this venue because seemed safe and nice. first off, the food was awful for the expensive price of the venue. we had hot cheetos and fruit. the worst part of all was the security. the security did little to nothing the entire night. when leaving the event, we walked out to the disaster of our cars. 6 cars had been broken into and the security had nothing to say. They blamed us because this has never happened. when returning later that night to look again for anything the owners were drunk stumbling around the lot. Although the place was beautiful the workers were more concerned about keeping us in rather than protecting our property. I would never come back. read more

We went to Lodi, CA to celebrate my birthday in November 2020. Right before the trip, California went to purple and a lot of the wineries were affected as they did not have outside spaces available to host the tasting rooms. We decided to still make the trip and called several of the wineries to visit to setup a reservation. This reservation was actually made by the Limousine Company that chauffeured us around on this day. He knew the family and we were serviced by Shoun, the owner's son. On that day, he notified us that his Step Father, the wine maker, had just passed 2 days ago and that he had just come back from the Funeral Home. Even though it was a sad time for him, he still took the time to talk to us about the wines and the organ that's inside the Tasting Room. When he found out that we were visiting from New Orleans to celebrate my birthday, he had the organ play Happy Birthday to me. We had a wonderful time speaking with him. We learned a lot about him and the winery!! He was so open and made us feel like family. Now to the wines and the pours that came with our flights!! Shoun was not stingy at all with the pours, our flight consisted of 3 wines and each wine glass had at least 3.25 ounces/glass!! The wines were amazing!! So much so we purchased a couple of bottles to bring home to New Orleans. Shoun even gave me a bottle of Champagne to take with me as a birthday present. We will definitely visit Lodi, CA again once the pandemic is under control and this winery will be top on our list. Visit this winery and you will not be disappointed. Maybe when we return Shoun will have proposed to his girlfriend and they are happily married. Fingers crossed!! read more

Recently had the pleasure of working with the venue for an event providing Services. Have to say, upon meeting the staff and owners here, we were very impressed. They were very easy to work with and the venue was perfect for all the lighting and audio setup in their patio area, also had a charming area for setup of the photo booth. I must say it was great to work with a venue that was professional and catered to the needs of their clients, but also followed the rules, as we do. Shaun fails to comprehend that having a friend of color does not exclude you from being a racist. By ignorantly responding back to my original post nearly a year later, Shaun and his family have demonstrated that they have not used the experience to grow as a small business owner. Attacking the client, who paid your family handsomely for the use of your land and your time, lacks class, tact and reeks of ignorance. I just wanted to share my thoughts on a couple visits to harmony wynelands. My brother recently got married there so we visited once for the rehearsal and then of course to attend the wedding. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Shawn the winemaker and the owners son. He is friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I was the only one tasting at the moment and I enjoyed the wine and chatting. When we returned for the wedding I met the owner. I was coordinating the wedding ceremony and helping my brother and future sister in law with everything that night-- and I am totally blown away at how unpleasant the owner was. I really wonder why she runs a venue when she so obviously dislikes dealing with people. She was rude to several guests at the wedding. She just walked into the bridal party room and told us she needed to use the restroom and they needed to give leave while the girls were using the mirror. She didn't even introduce herself as the owner and ask if she could have the bathroom- she just told the girls she needed the restroom. (There is a womens bathroom not far she could have used). Later on there was some issue with what time they had booked the venue. She started telling the guests that the wedding was over and told the DJ to stop playing music and to make an announcement that everyone had 10 minutes to leave. This was a mistake or miscommunication in the paperwork that should never have happened. Instead of enjoying the night the bride and groom had to go into her office and wait for her to pull up paperwork. It is a great little place with a rustic/antique looking tasting room and nice wedding venue but the woman who owns the place is rude, disorganized and totally inconsiderate. read more

This is tough because the best tasting champagne I ever had was when I attended a wedding at this location. The regular champagne was so good that I wanted to order a bottle just because. I went on the website and completed an order for a bottle - making sure to do all the special things it said in order to put my credit card info in there (there was an option for this and it was not a simple thing as most online checkout procedures are). I got a voicemail 2-3 days later from Linda (I think) asking me for my credit card information. Worried that I had not completed the form correctly, I called back. When I asked about the information - worried that my credit card info was just floating around cyberspace - she said that she had the information in her computer but didn't want to get it so could I just give her my card information over the phone. I found that strange. Everything got worked out but I found that to be extremely unprofessional and wondered why there was even a credit card option on the website if the owner was just gonna call me and ask for it over the phone a few days later. The wedding that I attended had a lot of glitches as well but since it wasn't my wedding, I'm not going to go into any more detail than that. Very unfortunate experience here. We were touring Lodi on a wine buying trip and stopped here at random. As we entered the tasting area someone inside was shouting abuse on a cell-phone. As we entered this tattood-surfer dude, who looked like he should have been on a surfboard inHuntington Beach, apoligized saying something about a cork supplier. My husband and I got married on Sept 20th 2014 at Harmony! We booked the venue WELL in advance because it was such a great value. When you're planning a wedding every penny counts. I was born and raised in Lodi and moved to the Bay Area for college. My Husband was born and raised in Placerville, but also moved to the Bay Area for college. We looked at all kinds of venues from Santa Cruz to Placerville/Folsom. Aside from a couple of SMALL venues in Placerville, Harmony was by far the best bang for our buck. I received so many great compliments about the venue from my guests. It was a great size for our 150 guest wedding... not too big...not too small. It offered beautiful views of the vineyards and a lovely reception area. The tasting room is a bit kitschy with it's theater organ and vino themed gifts/trinkets around. However, when it started raining having one of our guests hop on the theater organ really made things fun! Harmony offers a catering package for an additional charge with their venue rental or you can use a preferred caterer. We went outside catering (see my review for Da Vincis of Lodi) and did not feel stressed about the coordination at all. Linda, the owner of Harmony and the event coordinator was very helpful when we could get a hold of her. It was a bit difficult working with her remotely from the Bay Area (or trying to go through my mom). Email was not always the best way to communicate... I would recommend in person meetings or phone calls.... followed up with written communication. My experience, in general with planning, was that having a paper trail was very important for all my vendors. Biggest challenges were communication and coordinating payments (keep a paper trail). Overall the wedding went smoothly with no hitches. Linda and her team even extended our open bar by an hour, free of charge. It was a beautiful venue and I would recommend it to any local couples! We were the only ones there so we got full attention from Shaun who was on the cover of some wine magazine. He was very nice and spoke at length about the wines. In fact, we even spoke about religion and philosophy. We really enjoyed our tasting, didn't feel rushed and actually learned something about wine. The place is really cute with a nice garden area.
