The installers were on time, polite, neat and respectful of our current renters at the property. The work was done on time and looks great. I stopped by around 8:30am to take a look at their doors and windows. I am completely rebuilding my house and for doors and windows it is a $60k++ job. I walked inside and started walking around looking at the product. Then a woman who looked to be about 30ish with black hair and makeup on thick enough to scrape off with a knife walked in and told me that "they didn't open until 9am and so no one would be able to help me...." Nevermind the six employees excluding her walking around the show room. Then she proceeded to start to put on more lipstick..... No one offered me a brochure or a number to call back and make an appointment. If this were my business, I would be appalled that she let a $60k sale walk out the door...in fact I was pushed out thr door. Apparently they don't want business........ read more

Terrible terrible experience!! First time i write a review ever!! but they are so bad i could not tolerate not warning others about them!Please don't go there and waste your money! If i had to do it again i would spend more money and go somewhere else! Very bad customer service. The guy who helped us 'Jim' was a rude person and we agreed on something and when they come to install the windows he denies it and ask for extra money to do the job! We got the bathroom window's glass transparent instead of obscure and still not replaced, and they call the next day saying they need extra money because we wanted that window obscure with grid , an upgrade we already paid for!!! I thought I'd give Hardy Windows a try since I've passed my their business many times. Their estimate came in higher than one from another Milgard authorized business I used before. Since their estimate says "we will beat any competitors price!" I asked Casey Hardy how much they could beat my other estimate by. He said the will not beat it, only match it. They were very difficult to actually get them to my house. They rescheduled the day from the original date i was given to a new date, and then the day before they changed the time and then the day of they changed the time to later in the day. I called they got back to me. set up an appointment Ben came out measured the windows i wanted to replace showed us too different manufacturers we picked the windows we liked and the Quote we got from Hardy was about 40% lower than the other companies we called placed the order 2 to 3 weeks out no problem. they showed up installed the window cleaned up after them self's. very professional crew did a grate job. now we are having then back to do our front door and entry way. read more

Have used Hardy on two apartment buildings. Installation went smoothly, the crew worked well with our tenants. A couple of years went by and one of the tenants reported a leak after a recent rainstorm. I called Hardy and they had a tech out there the very next day with no hassle or cost. Hardy windows installed 4 large sliding windows in my home. We had a very good experience at their show room. The salesman was very approachable and easy to talk to. He was able to provide me a quote on the spot. The windows were expected to take over a month to manufacture, but they actually were finished much sooner. Which was convenient. The installation was very smooth. Similar to the sales experience, the installers were very nice and easy to talk to as well. There was 0 complications during installation. They even finished an hour ahead of time. Post installation I examined one of my windows and found that the manufacturer had installed a window stop backwards. Hardy windows was quick to come out and address the issue at my convenience. Overall they were awesome to work with. I will be referring them to friends and family. The Hardy Window company in Placentia sold us a good quality sliding door and window above, last spring. The crew was very considerate of our home and extremely professional in their installation. Six months later we want to add one locking item for our dog to enter and exit. Hardy arranged the item with the manufacturer and will install it for free. I'm giving Hardy Windows 4 stars because of some delays with my slider door and a secondary lock for that door. Overall I love my new Cascade windows! I have 5 new windows + the slider. They are amazing, I hear nothing now and no draft like I had with my old windows (they were original windows since 1973) I'm extremely happy with my Windows, would definitely recommend this windows and the installers were amazing to work with. My sales person Tony Capito was also great but their customer service could improve in my opinion. Hardy was prompt to provide a quote and did not push a particular window model on us. The quote was comparable to what the other vendors provided, but also included a skywall window that no other installation company was willing to replace. All of our questions were answered promptly and professionally. When we decided to move forward, they had our replacement scheduled for less than a month away. We were told the installation would probably take two days, however it was completed in one day. Of the 13 windows (and one door) we replaced, one window had a manufacturing defect. There was a scratch on the inside of the glass. Hardy had it replaced two weeks later. read more

Great company to deal with. One of my customers referred me to them and told me of the outstanding experience they had with them. Since my customers are very particular, that was enough for me. They did everything they promised. Showed up promptly; the install took the amount of time promised and each day you never knew they were there. The crew cleaned up after themselves. They were polite and efficient. At the end, they went over everything in detail. There was a scratch in one of the huge windows toward the bottom that no one would ever see (except us) and they offered to replace the entire window.
