I'm so glad he did, because when he went out there he found that the window was covered by warranty, and was even kind enough to give me the number to the manufacturer. I have called numerous times to ask if they can replace my screen sliding door because my dog damaged it and damaged the frame for that slider. I purchased this patio door 7 years ago and all I want is the same brand so it will fit right.. they take my number and they know who my sales rep was and they said they will have someone call me back. Insanely easy, from pre-ordering to post-install. We had Hardy Windows install 15 windows (all but one, which was already new) in the house. During the initial measuring and quotation process, everything was double and triple measured and checked to ensure accuracy. Knowing that windows are all custom order, this helps a lot down the line. The quote took about 2 days to get back. Once it did, I was extremely pleased with the price. I went into the showroom to ensure I picked out the window/styles I wanted. Very VERY nice showroom by the way. Windows took about a week and a half to arrive, which is pretty fast considering the custom nature of the order. Installation literally just wrapped up. To complicate things for the install crew, I had a special request to remove a sliding door in a downstairs bedroom and replace it with a window (future teenaged daughter does not need private access to outside, sorry). The crew did a fantastic job of walling in/up the area where the slider used to be, and the window in its place looks amazing. One of the installers noticed a very minor imperfection in a screen and immediately ordered a replacement. The attention to detail, professionalism, timeliness, and overall quality of the service is absolutely amazing. I have never ever given a review before for any one anywhere but decided to sign up here at yelp to give this HARDY company a big shout out because they gave us a 5 star job and product, honest! We had looked around for various places to do a big job replacing up stairs and down stars windows. We did the glass reflection thing to try to reduce the heat from another place but after several years of still feeling the sun we decided we need to save money on the air condition as well as try to make the house a bit quieter. Hardy's recommended the right type of window and delivered what they said when they said it and we have been enjoying a cooler and quieter house ever since! They gave us some very competitive pricing as well. I am so happy with my windows! From the very beginning of the process I have been extremely happy with the service I received from Benjamin and his team. Once approved by my homeowners association, windows where ordered and ready for installation in a few weeks. The install process was quick and smooth and the crew cleaned up after themselves. After some settling, I noticed a couple areas with gaps in the caulking which I know can happen. I contacted Benjamin and within two days, they had a guy out to fix the issue. The windows look fantastic and you can really feel a difference in the temperature with double pane. Price was great too. The best quote I received. After years of waiting we finally decided to replace our original windows. Called a few different suppliers and talked to our friends who had used Hardy. Chris Hanson, the rep came out and measured, provided quote back in few days. We negotiated the price price back and forth a few times and agreed. Hardy Windows just installed 14 of our 24 Windows plus a new sliding glass door in our home (built in 1991) here in Anaheim Hills. They did a great job! The crew arrived a few minutes before their start time and since I was ready for them I welcomed them to come in and get started if they wanted to. They got started right away, they laid out plastic and other coverings (more than I expected) to keep my house clean. A few times during the day the crew would show me things like a window we previously had a leak near (due to a crack in the wall not the window) and how the security bracket works. When they were done they made sure to clean up everything and haul away all of the debris and each window was cleaned. The Windows are high quality and look great! We wish we had gone ahead and done all the Windows at once, we'll absolutely be calling up Hardy Windows next year when we're ready to replace the remainder of the windows! This week it's been in the low 90s and we feel the difference in our house. I haven't had to run the air conditioner so I'm ready for the summer heat! In the evenings we can barely hear our sprinklers run now. My neighbor came by after the crew was done and commented on how nice the windows looked. She asked for the number and is getting a quote to have some of her windows replaced too. I called four or five places, and Hardy had the best prices on the same exact windows. We had four windows and a sliding patio door installed. The installers showed up on time (four of them) and immediately started covering furniture, stairs, and carpeting with plastic. They started tearing into the windows, and it was a scary sight. But the supervisor explained what they were doing, and it was fine. They finished in a few hours, cleaned up perfectly, and hauled the old windows away. The new windows and door look great. Last month we (mostly my husband lol) had a very good experience with Hardy Windows: quick response time, friendly, good communication, and prompt. Out of quotes from several companies they were fair priced, fastest to order/install, and easiest to deal with. They didn't try to upsell like other companies did. Instillation was clean and quick. We are very pleased with the experience we recently had with Tony and Hardy Windows. We needed 10 windows replaced and Tony was extremely responsive to our initial call as well as all follow up communications (e.g. emails). It took about 3 weeks for our windows to arrive and due mainly to our scheduling challenges, another 4 weeks to install. We paid a portion we were comfortable with as a down payment and the rest we paid after the work was done. The crew that came to install was professional, efficient and did a great job installing the windows but unfortunately, they ended up soiling our creme colored carpets in the bedrooms. However, when we notified Tony at Hardy Windows, they immediately addressed it by scheduling a steam carpet cleaning (at their own cost). The carpet cleaners did a great job removing the stains came out so we are very satisfied. There are two process issues that they could improve upon. First, we never received a reminder call before the window installation date, which was on our personal calendars but scheduled a month in advance so I wasn't sure how to prep or if they remembered the install date (they did). Second, the installation crew has you fill out a survey of satisfaction while they are standing next to you so how honest are you going to be with them there and when you haven't had any time for reflection or deeper inspection after the new windows are in? They even hand you a duplicate copy of the survey so that both parties see the evaluation forms at the end of the day. Awkward. Regardless of these two minor points, we are very pleased with the price, work and customer service of Hardy Windows. Everyone we interacted with (Tony, the installation crew and Ferd who helped us resolve the carpet issue) were responsive and professional. We evaluated at least 6 other companies before going with Hardy and we have already recommended them to other friends, family members and colleagues based on our experience. Call around and I think you will see that Hardy Windows will be an excellent company to choose to replace your windows. read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Called and and requested a quote on my homes windows and they put me in touch with a sales rep. The sales rep calls me and says to take a picture and text him measurements. Red flag # 1. I never heard back from him. Then I called the sales rep and text him 6 different times without a response. I eventually call back the office at Hardy and I asked to speak to the owner and one of the managers gets on the phone and says the sales rep is so busy and they are overwhelmed with business. He says he will get me a different sales rep immediately to work with me. I talk to the 2nd sales rep who said he has never seen the style of windows I have which is quite common from the 1950s. He does say he will need a couple of days to get me a quote and and I never heard from him either. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE VERY MOTIVATED TO FOLLOW UP. I have used Hardy Windows twice for my home. I returned as a customer because I was pleased with their work the first time around (which was approximately 4 years ago). The windows and patio doors they installed then have held up well and I have no complaints. On this recent window install, the workers even offered to cover the new windows with plastic since they noticed we are doing a full remodel. They wanted to protect the windows from the dust and commotion of the remodeling until everything was complete. They even left a few feet of edging so that our countertop could be installed flush to the windows. I wholeheartedly recommend Hardy Windows. I didn't give a 5 because I don't have comparable experience with other companies to say it's "as good as it gets". read more

Two experiences trying to get quotes from these guys: 1.) I called once awhile back to get a quote and someone indicated that the individual responsible for that task will contact me. I never received a call back. I called to let them know of this which triggered a call back which resulted in a voicemail. I called back and never achieved contact. 2.) Recently, I sent a message on yelp for a quote request. A woman called that was very professional and friendly. She indicated that someone will contact me with a quote - this never happened. I always like to start with the positive first ...on time with the delivery and 1/3 cheaper than Lowes and Home-depot I used Hardy windows on my new house, replacing five very old stainless steal 5 by 4 "or so", windows, that slid open from left to right I selected white vinyl windows that fit over the old frame (Cons)... hmmm, the only thing I can think of is....the salesman said that if a gulf ball or anything shatters the glass they will replace it for free....but I didn't see that in writing on any of the paperwork.....soooo only time will tell if that holds true (Pros)...as stated before best price over all, they beat out Lowes and Homedepot and delivered on time as promised. Contractors were friendly and quick at getting the job done. The over all installation of several 5 by 4 windows took only about two hours to instal #note- they were the kind of windows that fit over the old frame, thus easier to instal. I had windows installed for the whole house about 10 years ago. They were on time, they cleaned up their mess and did a great job. However...now the front room windows which we open and close almost every day, fell off the tracks and will not work. It is summertime and we can't use our front windows and no air conditioning. One window on the side is clouding up. Have contacted the office by email 4 times with no response. Altho they do a great job installing them, so far their customer service stinks as they ignore every email. So if you use them and have trouble with them years later....dont think about using them, they will ignore you. More they ignore the madder I get. read more
