What a little gem of a place.... the burgers are 1/2 lb of great beef. Even though it's not on the menu to ordered a mushroom/Swiss burger. The fries are great but I get the side salad that is sooo good. The secret is in the dried cherries they add and the light dressing they toss the salad in. I love the breakfasts... the chilquiles are to die for .. I get it with the green sauce... soo yummy. Everyone here was raving about their food. Parking is limited but if you ask them they have parking stickers for down the block. The secret is out....I'm sad, but happy for others to enjoy. read more

WOW is all I can say. I've been to brunch here three times and the friendly service and beautifully curated dishes are always top notch! The interior decor is beautifully modern and everything is so clean. The host makes me feel as though I am an actual guest every time. Best kept secret just off Montrose! Everything is fresh and delicious. The place is open, clean and service was perfectly attentive. All the food was homemade and everyone in our group thought they had the best dish! Absolutely recommend without hesitation. Such a great brunch spot! If you're interested, I ordered the chilaquiles with a mild red sauce, and the homemade tortilla chips had the perfect balance of crispy and sauced. My friend had the breakfast sandwich and get this, not only is the bread homemade but they serve the slices French toast style! She said it was delicious. My bf got the breakfast burrito, which again, was excellent. The only problem now is the next time we go, it's going to be tough to choose! At least we know we can't make a wrong decision! This breakfast and lunch cafe is new to the West Walker neighborhood. It's just south of Montrose and a little hard to see if you approach from east/west, but it's a long, welcoming space with lots of window light. Tables are far apart out of respect for COVID, and the staff is masked. The host is quick to greet you with an offer of drinks and menu. Breakfast specials are slanted towards Mexican classics and are beautifully presented and delicious (Chilaquiles were offered with green or red sauce). The standard plate of eggs, toast, hash browns and breakfast meat (if desired) is also plentiful and delicious (hash browns are diced potato and onions, freshly prepared). Coffee also was good--distinctive. I will come back for lunch, which also has many promising items listed. This is a very welcome addition to the restaurant scene in the neighborhood. read more

This place is so good I almost don't want to review it so I can keep it a little neighborhood secret! The Harding Breakfast Sandwich is insanely good. All the ingredients are always fresh, the food is always cooked perfectly... I've been several times and had or had a friend have the breakfast sandwich, the breakfast burrito, one of the lunch sandwiches, and some of the omelettes. Atmosphere is very chill, waitstaff is always friendly, never had to wait for a table but also never felt rushed out. I went the first time about a month and a half ago, and I've gone back at least once a week since. read more

This is a delightful, relatively-new, family-run breakfast and lunch place. The decor is clean and minimal, yet beautiful with gorgeous tile and sconces. The food, however, is what will bring you back. We had two dishes here. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Vanilla Peach Pancakes. The pancakes were thin, almost like crepes, with vanilla infused into the batter. They were layered with peach jarabe spread between them and perfectly ripe fresh peaches on the top, arranged very appealingly with a dollop of whipped cream. I had lunch! I order the Chipotle Chicken Panini. It has a pounded and perfectly cooked chicken breast, topped with arugula, tomatoes, mozzarella, and chipotle aioli. It came with onions but I took those off. It was delicious. But, as much as I enjoyed the panini, the fries stole the show. They were made from fresh potatoes, not frozen, skin on. They were cooked in canola oil and sprinkled with just the right amount of salt. They tasted like potatoes and were some of the best fries I ever had! Would it be bad just to get two or three sides of fries for lunch? We got to chat with both of the owners, Maura (our server) and Jesus (the chef). They were great and we really liked getting to know them a bit. The restaurant is on Harding, one storefront south of Montrose so you have to look for it. The effort to find it will be worth it. Service was very very bad, the waiter was being rude and condescending the whole time. They messed up an order and refused to fix it even tho we didn't even touch it. The water tasted as if they pulled it from the sink. The food was decent at best, but not worth the terrible service. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Great place to eat breakfast and drink a great cup of warm coffee. I ate a veggie omelet that came with diced potatoes and toast and it was delicious. My husband ate a Denver omelet and he said that it was his favorite omelet. Love the plate presentation. And love the cozy atmosphere. The waitresses are wonderful always making sure we get our coffees filled if we want to and making sure they ask if we are enjoying our breakfast. This is an excellent spot for breakfast. We came with a party of five and they were nice as can be and super accommodating. I had the Spanish omelet which came with potatoes. It was excellent. Great customer service, delicious food! BUT they need to figure out their prices when people want to substitute the pancakes they want . The order of two eggs comes with silver dollar pancakes but i wanted to try the banana and oatmeal pancakes so they charged me for both meals individually which was alot. Maybe make the pancakes order smaller if it's substitute or something but not charge full price for both when you didn't get the full meal . read more
