I think it's a bit kitschy, but it's cute nonetheless. Serves this place well. I would say this was one of the better burgers that I have ever had in my life. Top 10 for sure. I got the Patty Melt with fresh cut fries. Lil' A got the Junior Burger so she could handle the milkshake she wanted. Boyfriend had chicken strips w/fries. We ate it all! My Patty Melt was outstanding! Just perfect really. If they had rye bread it would have possibly been the best ever. I loved the crumble of the beef. Yum! Milkshakes are tasty too! Food is average (not terrible but far from great). I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon and my plate…read morewas decent. My fiancé ordered a grilled chicken salad with EXTRA chicken. When she received the plate there was what looked like MAYBE 2 small chicken strips cut up on the salad, quite possibly less than you'd serve a child. Before the waitress left we asked "is this extra chicken?" And she ensured us it was. We called her back over to ask her about it again, to us there was no way that serving included extra chicken. She stated she would talk to the kitchen then came back and told us that it normally includes 2 full chicken strips and that they added 1 extra full chicken strip to the salad BUT she had the cook prepare another full chicken strip anyway. After just a few moment she brought us what they call a full chicken strip; it was in a 1.5 ounce plastic sauce container (smaller than what they brought the ranch dressing in) and it was barely 1/2 full. (Anybody in their right mind knows you can fit an entire chicken strip in something that small. So after all of that they want us to believe that a full strip can fit into that. We again asked "that is a whole full chicken strip?" And she informed us that they just wouldn't charge us for the extra. That's not what we wanted and could not care less about the charge. All in all the dish probably had 3 ounces of chicken on it as they tried to pass it off as 4 full chicken strips. After we ate, I paid and tipped our waitress almost 40% because of the debacle and I felt bad for her having to go back and forth dealing with the situation. Before leaving I went downstairs and asked to see the manager. The hostess was nice and went back to the kitchen to inform them someone wanted to speak. After a few moments she came back out and informed me that our waitress that handled the situation actually was the manager. So we were either lied to by her and the manager didn't want to speak with us about the situation or our waitress (who might be the manager) lied to us about the whole ordeal as it was happening. The only reason we were so persistent is because my fiancé and I weight out every portion of food we eat throughout the week and we can just about look at food and know how much of what is there. My finances eats grilled chicken tenderloins every day for lunch during the week so with us looking at "chicken strips" every day, again, we can just about look at it and tell what is or isn't there. So to be consistently lied to about how much they are serving us is frustrating especially when we were NOT looking for a discount. We understand there is an up charge for extra protein and don't care what the price of the up charge is, we just wanted more chicken on the dish which is why we asked for extra. Quit lying to people about how much food you are serving them and expecting them to believe it. Even when the plate first came out there MIGHT have been enough on it to be considered the normal amount without ordering any extra. Please see the pic below to see what they tried telling us is "four whole strips"
