Dine in was closed for no reason even though the sign said it was supposed to be open. Not everyone wants to eat in their car.

"Thanks for choosing to dine with us -- how may I serve you?" The pleasant young man makes friendly, professional, direct eye contact with my wife and me as he greets us, smiling, at the restaurant counter. We place our order. "It will be my pleasure to bring your tray to you," the young man affirms as he hands me our receipt. "Help yourself to the soda fountain, and I'll be out with your food just as soon as possible." Shortly thereafter, the young man bustles to our table with with our piping-hot meal and an enthusiastic grin. After carefully placing each order in front of us, he asks my wife and me if we yet need refills on our drinks and encourages us to let him know if we need anything else. He then thanks us for our business and tells us to enjoy our meal. Wow! Was this a career waiter or attendant at a posh restaurant in Little Rock or Memphis? Not at all; in fact, my wife and I didn't have to drive more than three blocks from our home to enjoy this high-caliber service at our neighborhood... Hardee's(?!). Yes, Hardee's; in Searcy, Arkansas. In fact, it is this continued level of customer-focused and appreciative service that keeps my wife and me coming back for more burgers, fries, and onion rings at this unusual establishment that seems to attract -- and retain -- employees who are as interested in their customers' satisfaction as they are in the contents of their personal pay envelopes. This is not an exclusive experience on an isolated trip: Since moving to Searcy in 2007, my wife and I have been supremely impressed by this courteous staff that seems to operate on a higher, more polished level than other fast-food chains, or fancy, big-city restaurants, for that matter. Most-likely, you already have your opinion of the cuisine available at Hardee's, so I won't elaborate on it in an effort to influence your perceptions in one particular way or another. Instead, I hope that you will consider visiting this Hardee's at 2997 East Race Avenue in Searcy to observe a model example of a friendly, engaging, and professional staff at what otherwise might simply be dismissed as just another fast-food joint. The service was absolutely horrible. We waited ten minutes in the driveway just to get our order taken. Then she barely heard any of it and we had say it again. When we got to the window she claimed they were busy but there were only three or four cars there at the time and I looked inside and there always barely anyone inside so that wasn't true. The only thing keeping this from one or no stars is the food it was hot I don't know how it taste I had to write this review but I was very disappointed in the service today. read more

Nicest drive-thru employees! Clean inside and great employees. Good breakfast. Haven't ever eaten there except for breakfast. Great tea!

We have been buying loaded biscuits and gravy from them for several years. This morning, the order-taker said they​ did not have such a thing, but someone corrected her. What I got was not the same food I had gotten before. We had been getting two sausage patties and eggs on a split biscuit, with gravy on the side. That is not what they served today. read more
