I grade pretty hard when I leave reviews. Our stop here today was our first experience at this restaurant. We came for lunch and sat at the bar. The server was amazing as well as the food. Always hesitant when spinach artichoke dip Comes with bow tie pasta, but this was the best dip and pasta I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed the shrimp and advocado salad. It was more than I could eat at one seating. The presidential margarita was worth the price. I don't come to Searcy often, but I would eat here again in future visits. read more

If the floors in the main dining room, that has all the charm of a sale bare are any indication, I shudder to see the kitchen. The beer was good and cold. The burger, although having to send it back, undercooked per the way it was ordered, was good but on the small side. Fries were Awsome. Overcooked just as we ordered them. Let me get the good in here first, our waitress was lovely, she was doing what she could and had great table presence. The place was nice, not a whole lot of tvs to watch games which seems to be the vibe for it seemed. However, to speak on what I disliked, we waited just over 30 min at about 2pm for our lunch orders which I think we were given and charged for the dinner portions. Once the food came out it was lukewarm. I had the backyard chicken, and everything tasted good, just not freshly off the grill. My girlfriend had ordered a side of mac and cheese which was literally just kraft mac and cheese (they charge $4 for that as a side). Moral of the story, if you're hungry now probably don't expect to get your food right away. There seemed to be a string of other reviewers also complaining about wait times as well. read more

We had chicken, pizza, parmesan chicken, and nachos. The chicken was good. The asparagus was really good. The nachos was a large portion. They did not have the gluten free crust so we got regular and I wish it was cooked longer. So the pizza wasn't great. read more

Very big portions!!! Definitely worth the money. As you see the loaded cheese fries come on a huge pizza pan and cover it. Unfortunately I did not give 5 stars because the wings were not good. They have a whole separate wings menu so I thought for sure would be great but we were disappointed. I'm not sure what it was the texture and flavor of sauce but they were off. But luckily I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with grilled asparagus and it was delicious! It was two giant chicken breasts not just one. Served with a lemon cream sauce. I got the grilled asparagus as my side and it sounds silly to say but was the best asparagus I've ever had lol very well seasoned and cooked. We are not from this area so we decided to try something that isn't a chain or fast food. We shared the mushroom appetizers, lots and lots of breading on these. Meh. I ordered the California Club. It was supposed to be turkey, avocado, and bacon on sourdough. The sourdough looked like something from a wonderbread loaf, barely toasted. The bacon was all BLACK. There was no avocado. The turkey was slimy. It was disgusting. My lunch partner ordered the beef tacos. The pulverized, overly salted, mess of meat was on a soggy tortilla with a way too much iceberg lettuce. In total, after a tip (the waitress was nice), it cost almost $60 to eat this substandard food that would embarrass any legitimate cook or chef. I feel lucky that we didn't get sick. read more

Calamari was in decent portion with a unique sweet orange marmalade sauce on the side. It was somewhat rubbery and hard to chew but not entirely bad. Can't blame them too much because it is squid in the middle of a tiny town in Arkansas after all. I'm not much of a French fry gal but the fries with my Pacemaker burger were pretty good- soft yet with a bit of outer crunch and plenty of seasoned flavor. The burger was phenomenal. The two meat patties were incredibly well seasoned- they stood on their own! The four thick sweet peppery slices of bacon were a great addition as well as the fried egg. read more

Ordered coconut shrimp, loaded baked potato, and mahi mahi tacos and it was all cold. Not warm. Cold. So cold that the cheese on the potatoes wouldn't melt. The potato was also very undercooked. The staff were nice, but I probably won't go back. Restaurant is very dimly lit and feels dirty. I can't actually tell if it's dirty, but it feels like it is. Grunge vibe. Not from the area, but have been to Rock House a couple times the last 2 years when visiting family for the holiday. Always sat on the bar side. I will say this, typical bar food with some big entrees to boot. Everything I've ever had has been good. Bar service is second to none. I traced my watch saw it walking away from the restaurant while on the phone with the manager hopefully I locked it soon enough. How do you not know your employees locations. We visited this restaurant around Valentine's Day and had a great experience. We went back a couple weeks later for a family dinner for a friends 70th Birthday. The service was ok, but the food was good. We spent a substantial amount of money in this place being that there was 7 of us. My father in law asked if we could get a piece of cake for our friends birthday. The waitress said she didn't think they did that, so my father in law politely asked to speak to the manager bc we've never been to a place that didn't do something. The manager came out and was sooooo rude and spoke super aggressive to my husband and the entire table. I was so disappointed in the managers attitude. The owner needs to know how they are running their business when they aren't there, and she needs to be fired. read more

So, where to start. Came in at 6pm immediately sat at the bar and the bar staff we great. They made recommendations and drinks came out great. Prices were great as well! All came out cold and chips were soggy. Not like a little warm, bit literally cold to the touch. It took 25 minutes for those to come out. This is Searcy, not Dallas at a fine dining restaurant. As we continued to wait on our food, we saw many tables come and go, eat and pay, then leave. After over an hour of waiting, I snag a server that is not waiting tables, but bussing them. I asked about the food and another, I'm guessing a server came over to voice her snarky opinion about how they have been super busy.... as I look around and us and 1 more table is sitting as well as a lot of front staff just standing around, I laugh. She asked me if I wanted to go over and see that other tables in the restaurant. I passed and let her know that our appetizers were cold and if it was it the other tables that was the reason our appetizers were cold and main meal nonexistant. She promptly, and with a pissy attitude, that yes, our food probably sat in the window until it got cold. I let her know that wasn't my problem. Again, Grace our server was awesome. We went to lunch traveling through Searcy. We sat in the new bar area. There were not many patrons but it was a Friday afternoon. Since Searcy is in a dry county, we did have to obtain membership cards but they do not cost money. We both immediately ordered American draft beer. The sign stated it was being served at 28 degrees. It definitely was. It was exactly how draft beer is supposed to be served. For our entrees we ordered the chicken bacon ranch flatbread with French fries and a "small" order of boneless wings flavored with their Californication sauce and a baked potato. The chicken bacon ranch flatbread was more than enough for 1 person. It was very tasty. The French fries were seasoned well. The order of boneless wings were definitely not a small order. There were 8 lightly breaded wings tossed in their Californication sauce. The sauce was a honey lime base. The wings were not dripping wet and you could actually taste the chicken and the breading. The wings are worth the long drive to eat them again. The potato was baked to perfection. The service was great! Our food was served in under 10 minutes. The server was attentive as well. There was a separate lunch menu that featured smaller portions of their dinner items but we did not want a full entree for lunch today. The average price per person is less than $10.00 without alcohol and the serving size is more than enough. The restaurant was well decorated in Rock and Roll memorabilia. It was very clean as well. We also noticed the restrooms were very clean and had a fragrant scent. We will definitely visit again if we ever drive through Searcy. I think this establishment would be successful in another city as well that is in central Arkansas. read more

I went there expecting a delicious, refreshing meal and instead I got nothing! I put my order in and waited for about 2 hours. We tried to get a hold of the waitress but no one could find her. A different waitress then asked us what we needed and we asked her if our order was almost done, she then asked what I ordered, I told her and she said the order was never even being made! The food was good, not the best we've ever had, but good. The hot sauce that came on one of the burgers was HOT but delicious when eaten in small quantities. The blackened chicken sandwich was good. The blackened seasoning wasn't super spicy (I prefer it spicy) but it was still a good sandwich. The fries are the type coated in a batter. Not my favorite type of fry, but still good. The grilled chicken platter was okay. The Parmesan chicken was okay but not great. It's hard to compare Parmesan chicken in this type of restaurant with a true Italian place. Service was great and the employees were pleasant. No complaints there at all. In fact with all of the staffing shortages everywhere, these people didn't miss a beat. The atmosphere is probably what is the least appealing. It's kind of like the place doesn't know what it's trying to be. There are large screen TVs on the walls with sporting events. So that feels more like a sports bar or Buffalo Wild Wings. We had been told this was a more upscale place in town but I wouldn't call it that at all. This could be the norm or could be COVID adjustments, but they use paper napkins and plastic take home cups with the restaurant's name on them. Nothing wrong with that but those elements would cause me to define this as a sports bar/restaurant and not an upscale restaurant where you should take a date. There weren't many people in there while we were but even just a few tables full of people caused the noise level to go up quite a bit. Could be due to the high ceilings too. Good place for a casual sit down meal. Average prices for the burgers and sandwiches but a little pricy for the entrees in a restaurant like this. read more

We tried this place over a year ago and liked it when we were in town. Yesterday was an awful experience. Right after walking in for a late lunch at 2:30PM, we had to wait for the hostess to go and check for a table, come back to tell us, go get a rag, wipe our table down and then seat us. Even though there was only 1 other occupied table in the entire place. When we sat down the table was still very sticky and we had to ask her to clean it again. All of our menus were dingy/wrinkled/frayed and were so sticky we had to pry them open to see stains on them. Our waitress was nice and took our order. After 30 min we received our food. I ordered the wings buffalo style and when they came out they were very dark brown. I asked the waitress if those were buffalo and she told me "that's what she ordered" and left. The chicken was actually pretty good but after having to wait another 10 min for our waitress to appear, I told her they were sweet and not buffalo at all. She said she could tell the kitchen to remake them but at it had almost been 50 min since we ordered and my family was almost done with their meal. At this point we were the only people in the entire restaurant so there really isn't any excuse to mess up something so simple as getting the correct style of sauce for wings. The restaurant looks better than before and there bar area seems fun but we left dissatisfied, especially me, and decided we would never come back here. read more

Great location and the food used to be good. Went in for dinner with my father. I ordered the fried bow tie pasta with spinach dip appetizer (best thing I ate), and the mahi mahi fish tacos. The fish was way over cooked and nonexistent in the mounds of onions, cheese, and cabbage they used to fill the tacos. Less is more when it comes to those ingredients.. Major lack of execution and portion control in the tacos. Service is the only thing that saved it from a one star review. read more
