Very professional staff and service. They went above and beyond to help when their mobile ordering wasn't working.

Hardee's has the best biscuits and gravy in town. Please don't apply for work there. The application process is run by an AI bot, and you can schedule a 15 minute interview anytime you please whether they're looking for people or not. I called a week after my interview April 29th 2026 to follow up. The manager who answered my call had no idea who interviewed me not even with a physical description. 3 days after that I called again to follow up. Another manager answered the phone. It seems that anyone who answers the phone is a manager but nobody knows each other. Well heck I can make my own biscuits and gravy. read more

I stopped thru here for lunch and everything was great. The best service I've gotten from any fast food restaurant in the area. Very fast service. Very friendly! And I'm a bit of a Hardee's addict. I'd come back here any day! read more

1st time here in a while getting breakfast. But may I add English muffins are not to be served not toasted and dry. Enough to choke a person. It's like eating a saltine cracker not in soup. Toasted and a little butter would do wonders for this sandwich. I was very disappointed Tater tots are always a big hit read more

Went here after work. Place was half empty and in the middle of being cleaned. Food tasted bland and I got food poisoning off this food. Never eating here again. read more

I really like Hardee's. It's one of my pregnancy cravings and I just have to say The seasoning on the fries is always good. They are very accommodating about lettuce wrapping my burger. Their shakes are amazing! And everytime I've been inside it's been clean or they are cleaning. Honestly I think the people who comment badly are just mad that they wanted a fancy meal and can only afford takeout. Plus let's be honest, seems to me like people just look for things to complain about. Stop going out places when you are already grumpy read more

This place is horrible. Do not visit. Keep driving down the road to McDonald's. Burgers were awful. Milkshake was water. Disgusting and dirty. 0 stars if I could! read more

Pretty good. Never any complaints. Little on the expensive side but what are you gonna do? Biden ruined the country. Service is usually a little slow. Not sure why but the food is always good. read more

Very nice lovely and helpful and understanding people I was happy that they let me go even though I was short changed I really appreciate it i just found out that I'm expecting and is so grateful to have eaten breakfast because I don't eat a lot or really half the time read more

The staff was excellent! They were in great moods and made our visit better! The food was great as well! Definitely will return in the future! read more

Ordered online, when I attempted to pick up my order I was just looked at like I had 2 heads. They asked to see my confirmation. I showed them my order in my phone and they just looked at each other confused. This is the 2nd time I left this location and went somewhere else just because I got to the point that I couldn't wait around fir the employees to decide how to do their job. Not going to return. No stars if it were possible read more

Times are crazy right now with not having enough staff & I can hear the way some people through the drive thru are talking to the employees & it's sad. There is a young black gentleman, younger white lady & a young black lady doing the best they can. They were stressed which is understandable but they are still killing it with a smile & kindness! I definitely commend them through this crazy time for still keeping there cool! Thanks Hardee's for the great food & still great service! read more

By far the worst restaurant in Middletown cold I'd always cold I have lived in Middletown for almost 3 years and had given this place a chance 3 times NEVER AGAIN read more

I ordered 1/4 lb bacon double cheeseburger, onion rings and soda Burger had 1 slice of bacon, 1 piece of cheese and onion rings were cold and dry. Does anybody check fries/onion rings to make sure they are hot before they serve them, and everyother double cheeseburger I've had was 2 pieces of cheese, this is very bad customer service. People who work at fast food restaurants want $15.00 an hour and can't even get something as simple as double cheeseburger right, very sad. read more

First of all. It is a fast food restaurant so service and quality always vary. Believe me. I travel all over the country and have learned that it doesn't matter where you go now days. One day can be excellent and the very next day totally awful, that goes for the food and the service. This location is no different. Most of the staff here are great and 95% of the time I get very good food and service but there is still that 5% factor when it can be terrible. The only real complaint I have about Hardees in general is the recent menu changes. They changed the names of some of their burgers and they seem to be different. I liked the previous menu better. The other Hardees complaint I have is some of their prices are way too high for what you get. (Ex. Big roast beef sandwich, way too expensive for what you get). Final thoughts. If you like fast food and can accept these factors then give them a try. read more

Majorly overpriced & definitely NOT at all worth what they charge. I got a so called jumbo chili dog w/ cheese; it was a regular sized hot dog with something the consistency of refried beans, a few sprinkles of cheese, and no onions (which I requested). My son got a vanilla milkshake the only size they sell cost $3+ & it was not completely done & runny, not much thicker than milk. (Any other fast food places wouldn't have served it.) The fries were hot & tasted ok. The $3+ cheeseburger was comparable to a $1 burger at mcd's. The employees were professional. Sweet tea wasn't great. read more

Hardee's - Jumbo chili dog w/ cheese - Burgers Near Me - Middletown, Pennsylvania

This place needs a new franchise owner it has been going down for years. Orders are frequently wrong and drive thru is so slow you can make your own in less time that it takes. Today I was in drive thru and had 3 cars ahead of me...it took 30 mins to get a TEA.. I asked the girl "are you that busy"? She said yes it's crazy. As I was driving out I looked in...3 people were in there. I parked and walked in and said THIS is what you call busy? She said...yeah it is to me and walked to the back. Place is crap won't be back and will warn my clients away. read more

Service is good but saw employees eating food in the back of the restaurant. Last time I thought it was against it! Young African American eating chicken by the fryers. Disgusting to know food is put in boxes by there hands without gloves!!! read more

Always courteous service. Breakfasts are super good esp biscuit n sausage gravy. Sausage and egg biscuit also really good. Their biscuits are both soft AND crispy. Breakfast platter is huge. read more

I went there late at night and they had run out of the stuff I wanted, which is unfortunate but understandable, so I got some spicy chicken sandwiches (damn good by the way) and since they were like my third choice they just let me have them for free. I'd give 6 stars if I could. read more

Just plain awful. People touching themselves with their gloves. Wrong cheese on my sandwhich. Cold fries. Tasteless fish sandwhich no lettuce but shows it in picture. Uggh. Counter people touching food. Gross. Feels unsanitary if you watch your food in process. It is now off of my list and it smells like burning grease inside. Turn on the fans!!! This is why I like chick-fil-a!!!!!!!! read more

Since I live in Lancaster and we don't have any Hardee's around, I'm always excited to have to stop here when I'm in my old hometown of Middletown, PA. The people that work here are so much friendlier than other fast food chains. My favorite is the Big Hot Ham & Cheese because no other fast food place has such a thing. My husband is a big fan of their burgers. Everything on their menu is so much better and so different from other places. read more

I can't believe the reviews saying how great and fast this place was. I've tried Hardee's in Middletown 3 different times with my husband and each time gets progressively worse. It's the slowest service, two people are trying to take your order at once over the drive thru speaker, they are staffed by younger kids who are laughing through the speakers and carrying out personal conversations instead of talking to you. The food itself isn't terrible but it's the worst day food customer service in Middletown. read more

Love me some curly fries and I Like how now they bring ur meal to u. Very clean place including the bathroom. Sweet tea excellent.

the only thing they make good are biscuits sandwiches, if it were not for breakfast they would be out of business. MOST of their menu is terrible. I do not like the taste of their food at all. Im shocked they are still in business. the only reason i gave them 3 is that their biscuits and biscuit sandwhiches are awesome! some of their pricings are questionable 6 biscuits with jelly on the side 9.60 cent. REALLY! you can buy a box of bisquick or george washington biscuit mix and a jar of jelly for way cheaper. read more

Fast service and the food was great. Exactly what's needed for a quick lunch break.

I love the food but some time they don't give what I ask for and the fries aren't really the best. They need to bring back the French toast sand which I hope they do! They have the best fast food burgers and the cheese fries are really good too. I love it here read more

Please explain to me how all your food taste terrible? The floor is so greasy i could have slid to the counter.hug never again

Disgusting. Didn't get fries with my "value" meal... My burger was burnt and tasted oddly sweet and I threw it away... I asked for water and it was their tap water in a cup... Whoever owns this shit hole sucks. read more

It's Hardee's. It's fast food. They do Hardee's fast food well. Service is good, shakes are great. It's better than the other fast food places, but a bit more pricey. Not many places in Central Pa to get decent biscuits and gravy. read more

I've order the same double bacon meal from this location twice. It's closer to my job than the other locations, so on day I don't pack I like to treat myself. I tried this Hardee's back in November of last year. It was horrible. I could eat the burger but that was it. I couldn't even finish my drink. Everything just tasted so bad. Today I accidentally order from this Hardees again. I ordered on a app and had meant to get it from another location. I was mad when I saw the mistake but it was my mistake. I sat down to eat the food. And when I opened the bag, the smell that left the bag was sickening. The smell is all over the sandwich boxes. It's like a cross between food and chemicals. The smell of the food is chemically too. I am not even going to try it. I will be tossing this out. I downloaded the Yelp app. And I wanted to warn everyone to stay away from this place. This place need to be investigated. read more

Its really close to the campus so i can go there anytime, the food there is nice, shakes are amazing and i like the environment there.

They have really good biscuits and breakfast sandwiches. Interested to try the chili dogs
