Fresh is best and the made-to-order burgers and fries are worth the wait while $14 (no drink) fed two adults. Could've stuffed ourselves silly, but no shake and no second burger. If you don't know, NEVER order a large fry unless you are feeding more than two people. A large is obscenely-sized. The fries and burgers are not so greasy which is what gives this place the superior rating to nearby Wayback Burgers. I go there more often due to discounts, but this reminded me why you have to pay a little more sometimes. read more

Had a craving for a mushrooms swiss burger. 5 guys only had American but the burger was delicious. Pretty expensive now to eat out. I know they can't do anything about that. Music was loud. I am so very upset with the service that I got here. I have never been treated worse before at any fast food place. The cashier John was so very rude to me and he ignored my whole order. He asked me what I said so I had to repeat myself MULTIPLE times. No one should ever have to do that. He finally got my order and the price was highly upsetting. it was way over-priced. Anyways, I went to go sit down and all of the tables were oddly disgusting. there was trash everywhere and food on the tables. I asked another worker Bree if she could clean off a table for me but she rudely refused. So, I cleaned it off myself. I waited for a good 30 minutes for my order. When John brought my food out to me he rudely threw my food at me. AND the food was cold. I will never be going there again and I suggest that you don't too! read more

My husband, parents, and I went here for lunch the first day that we moved into the area. The location is placed in a really nice spot in town and it is easy to get to. The employees are friendly and the floors aren't sticky like many other Five Guys restaurants that I have been to. I almost feel guilty writing my second 5 Guys review in the last week --  not because I am writing a second review; but because I have eaten here twice in the last week! That is pretty abnormal for me, but recently, on a trip to Syracuse, my family and I grabbed some burgers at 5 Guys and it was just as good as I remembered it - maybe better. This is probably what prompted by visit for lunch on 12/5 with my daughter. Food: I am not going to go into too much detail because I feel  like I am plagiarizing myself in repeating a lot of the same content. For a greasy, fatty, delicious burger - this is my go-to spot for consistently awesome burgers. The unlimited and wide variety of toppings to choose from enables the consumer to craft whatever burger they are in the mood for. For me and my daughter, we split a classic cheeseburger with mayo, tomato, pickles, and ketchup. No, my daughter did not want bacon. This girl may not be mine. I may need to contact Maury to do a paternity test. The burger delivered, as always. Juicy, greasy, bursting with flavor, and the produce was all above average. Solid 4/5 on the burger.  Ironically, in a previous review, I think I mentioned the varying degree of fry quality. It is ironic, because the fries here were not cooked properly. They were soggy. The whole point of having a two-stage frying process is in order to obtain crispiness on a fresh cut fry (which is hard). Five Guys usually achieves this, but about 33% of the time, fails. These were soggy, limp, and not all that good. 2/5 Food: 3 / 5 Service: The service was quick, expedient, and professional. Exactly what I expected. When I went to the counter because I forgot to order mayo on the burger, they happily provided me some on the side. I also forgot to ask for the burger to be cut in half. They happily did that as well. I appreciated it. Service: 4 / 5 Atmosphere: What is there not to love about the 5 guys atmosphere? I mean, for me, the crowd can get a little bit cumbersome and annoying, but this location seems to have everything under control. I went during prime rush hour lunch and despite there being a fair number of people on the inside, it wasn't very chaotic, and it ran extremely well. Best inside-atmosphere I have experienced at a Five Guys thus far. Plus, that old-time burger-joint feel is a cool vibe. The boxes of potatoes in the dining room, the board which tells you where they are from, and the free peanuts to munch on while waiting are all endearing qualities. Atmosphere: 5 / 5 Price: I still think that 5 Guys is a little pricey; but you typically get a great quality product for what you pay for. This time, the fries did not stack up for me. In fact, I threw most of them away because they were just a waste of calories for something that wasn't that enjoyable. For that, I deduct a star. Price: 3 / 5 (4-1) Final Thoughts: The 5 Guys experience is always a positive one. Between the cool and trendy interior, to the high quality burgers that consistently deliver the flavor that I am craving, I really cannot think of a better place to get your fix for a greasy burger. One thing that I did not note above, and did not take off points for, was the side of mayo that I ordered tasted a lot like onions. Not sure if a cross-contamination happened where some onions got in the mayo, or if this is just the way their mayo tastes, either way, if onions somehow did flavor the mayo, that could potentially indicate some unsafe food handling procedures at this location. read more

Being new to the area, I wasn't familiar with this little chain. I popped in for lunch one day craving a burger. I was pleasantly surprised. First off, the single-patty was plenty for me for lunch. Next, they have a great selection of toppings for your burger and they are free! The fries were definitely fresh cut. They even post the city and state where the potatoes they are using that day come from. Service is pretty quick and cooked to order. My burger was tasty (and not greasy). Sure, I've had a better burger (for $8-10) at a restaurant, but this is a fast-food joint folks. The fresh-cut fries were tasty too, although I do like mine a little crispier. I'll be heading back here again before stopping at McDs, BK, or Wendys. read more

First, I pretty my feel the same about ever Five Guys that I have been to. It is expensive fast food. There is nothing special about their burgers and apparently they aren't too particular about where they source and process their beef as you can't get anything other than well done. Their buns aren't special either. I could walk into any grocery store and buy the same buns. For a pricey burger joint I'd expect something a little better. A pretty decent burger akin to Fatburger, In-n-out, etc. A wide range of toppings which sometimes leads to "overload" of the burger. The meat tastes good and fresh. Fries are pretty decent. I've had the opportunity to eat here twice recently, and have been happy with my experiences. One of the larger Five Guys locations I've seen with it's own building. Love getting burgers at Five Guys as there are none around me. Fries come in absolutely crazy amounts and are greasy. Location has two Coca-Cola Freestyles that I have nothing but love for. Employees have been extremely polite on both visits. Parking can be a pain if there is a crowd, location is oddly setup as you have to enter from a red light that goes into the main plaza. read more

My son and I stopped last week after 6:30 pm ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers and 2 small fries NO drink ! Now I know why they have peanuts the 5 guys and a girl just stood there talking to each other for 5 minutes before even starting our food. I am a big fan of the five guys franchise. They have good burgers, amazing fries, and for the longest time my only complaint was that they should have milkshakes if they want to be a burger spot. And they do have milkshakes now! Which are also delicious. My only issue with this location was in my experiences with various five guys, is when you order fries, you get the cup of fries, and then they also dump a tray of fries into the bag in addition to what you ordered. They didnt do that here so it was quite disappointing. Otherwise food quality was great and staff was friendly. read more

This place is horrible. The burgers are overcooked. The toppings are almost flavorless. There is nothing juicy about their burger. Sorry guys, sloppy does not equal juicy. They are over priced. The peanuts are 3rd rate. The fries are soggy. The meat, the last time we ate there about a week ago, left my son vomiting in the bathroom, me sick in my stomach, and my daughter felt bad not long after we finished eating. Let me clarity that, I didn't finish eating. I couldn't figure out what on my burger smelled/tasted like perfume. After slogging my way through something I would have been embarrassed to serve at a picnic, I decided to ditch the bun and the toppings and just eat the meat. One bite of just the burger and I had to spit it out. It was what tasted like perfume. What the heck? The woman at the register was a real pisser. I'm sorry we inconvenienced her somber mood by interrupting her to order food. Price is stupid high for the size and quality. I'm not sure what I'm playing for. They use low quality plates and napkins. For much less I can go get a burger at Burger King that's just as big and tastes better. I am adding this to my NEVER AGAIN list. read more

One star only from me, with a caveat that from my perspective, when it comes to fast food greasier is not automatically better. If your ideal cheeseburger comes absolutely dripping with grease, disregard this review, and by all means, get thyself there forthwith. But for me, Five Guys represents the worst in fast food, IMHO. Admittedly, I have rather junk food tastes, eating more fast and bad food than is healthy. But when I do eat fast food, I don't want to feel like the cheeseburger is going to give me a coronary right then and there. And unfortunately Five Guys fails that test. At a recent Five Guys meal, halfway through the bacon cheeseburger and fries, I had a "Super-Size Me" moment, just feeling grossed out at the amount of grease I was ingesting. I love a good burger, and can eat fries all day, but the grease was so bad that I literally had to stop. Needless to say I can never return. I don't like to hate on a biz doing things well, but in a way completely antithetical to my tastes, but if your tastes mirror mine, I say save your money, go to Chick-Fil-A, and have some of their awesome waffle fries. read more
