Clothes at this place are optional…read more We decided to eat here on a whim as previously this place was known as Le Coop and we hadn't realised it had changed name. First things first - this restaurant is part of the Made in Belfast group of restaurants to the decor etc is quirky where very little matches. The restaurant is brighter than i remember and the gross chip board seems to have been threw into a chipper. This was a relief. The waitress was really friendly and full of great chat. From the menu I ordered the Mousetrap burger. This meal came with onion rings and skinny fries on the side as standard. This was a winner for me, as the restaurant universe of late has been presenting sides as an optional offering rather than an inclusive wonder. So bravo to strip joint for throwing in 2 sides. The ambiance is relaxed and the service was great. I would recommend giving this place a visit. Men bring your wives, there is something for everyone

This suited us as we were after a quick lunch. I'm currently trying to start a wee health kick so I decided against burgers or steaks. I ended up going for a crab pot. It came out beautifully presented (see picture) with a lovely cucumber and lemon garnish and a side of local wheaten bread. I also went for a filter coffee that was delivered within minutes of ordering. I really enjoyed my visit, although I'd love to go back and sample the service and atmosphere on a busier evening. The decor has been put together really well, the long mirror gives a spacious feel to a small intimate restaurant. Definitely would recommend a visit, the menu is large so you'll find something you like. This is more of a 3.5 than a 4 but I'm generous!

First up was a bit of dinner, and this was undoubtedly going to be a good one. Molly Brown's run this 2 courses for £10 offer from 12-9pm Monday to Thursday, and from 12-6pm on Friday and Saturday, which is really very good value for money. There's a huge variety too and definitely something for everyone - from garlic bread starters to roast stuffed pepper mains. I chose the bread and oils starter, which down an absolute treat (including down my top, which didn't go down quite so well...), and for the mains I had a burger which wasn't half a bad 'un. So far so good. We happened to be there on a Thursday night (incidentally, as Geraldine mentioned, quiz night), so we weren't going anywhere any time soon. Between the meal and quiz, we got some drinks (Strawberry Daiquiris were all the rage) and had a bit of craic. Speaking of the daiquiris, I got a lesson in making one from the exceptionally friendly barman. Excellent. The quiz man (who's an absolute hoot) did arrive a good bit late, but we were all so pumped for the quiz (ok, I was), that we didn't mind too much. Throughout all the rounds our team were in second place until the very last round. As Mr Quizmaster announced the scores, we listened for our name and realised we'd come top...with another team! Oooh, the drama. One last tiebreak question, and the first prize was ours. Well, you should have heard the cheers, and the singing along to "We are the Champions"...yes, an exceptionally good night indeed.

On a Thursday night you can drop in for quiz night with the very entertaining quiz host and his half time nibbles...free and yummy! if you win you will receive anything from a bottle of wine to a 24 pack of beers (i know this because our team have won now a few times and we are not geniuses nor do we use our phones!!) They have a long list of cocktails as well as your standard man refreshments - beer! I heart Molly's because they run fantastic little offers every now and again. Sex and the City 2 premier night had a free cocktail, tickets and a bus to the cinema and back for a cheap as chips price! Trips to Down Royal racecourse are also run through the bar - the classic a pint and a bet. Kelvin, the manager, will happily whip you out 'a steak on a stone' from the kitchen while you look at the lovely paintings of local areas by local artists. Seriously, I could go on and on about this place...the food is really good with a starter and a main for a tenner. They even hosted my fiances 30th birthday party for no charge and allowed me to decorate the whole place with pictures of him in his nappy! So accommodating, affordable, friendly and I swear i'm not even getting paid to write this but I am going to print off a copy and take it in and try to get a free cocktail out of it!

Someone recommended this place and it was super close to where we were staying. The waitress was very welcoming. It was a Wednesday night and they had a special going on- for £15 you get an appetizer and entree which is served with chips and side salad. I chose the bang bang chicken for starter. It was sooo good! I ordered the 10 oz sirloin as my main course. The steak was cooked perfectly and served with a black pepper dipping sauce that made the steak even better. We ordered a few drinks which were all good. I had the frozen passion fruit margarita- could have been more flavorful but still drinkable. Overall good atmosphere and would go back.

The room was lovely and the shower was great but my back and shoulders were killing me and I was very tired the next day. I decided to speak with someone at the front desk for a different room since the bed was not comfortable to sleep another night in. I was informed that all the mattresses in the hotel are the same brand and from the same company. After a few mins we were taken from the new side of the hotel to old hotel side to try out a different room. The old hotel side looks very different but still nice. We walked in and the first thing we notice is the room is huge and came with a huge bed. Ohh and of course I lay on the bed and ahhhhhh in heaven with a comfy mattress, so I said "Yeah, I'll take this one". I couldn't have been any happier. We returned to the front desk, were given our new key cards and off we were to pack up & move over. They did offer to move everything for us but we decided we can do it ourselves. I had a wonderful night's sleep and just wish I had this room on our first night. Now I know for when returning to Belfast and needing a hotel, I'll just request a room in the old side. Maybe just request the same room again since it was so perfect. Oh the bathroom was nice and big and there was plenty of closet space as well. They do offer breakfast for 10 pounds per person, which isn't bad, and they have a good selection.

Their Sunday Roasts are thing are talked about all the way up and down the Ards Peninsula. The pub closed briefly last year but it's re-opened and now is live and kicking. The 'complex' is split in to three distinct sections. There's the traditional front bar with low ceilings, exposed authentic beams and a few friendly locals suppin' on Guinness. Then there's the newer 'entertainment area' - this is a larger space with high ceilings, a good amount of seating and a small 'dance floor. The third part is the often packed restaurant. I've heard great reports about the food but unfortunately I haven't eaten here in years. There's also an enclosed beers garden with plenty of seating for smokers. I was in on Saturday night after a meal and the service was great. They have recently installed a one man cocktail bar serving up French Martinis etc. There's always good acoustic music playing and the atmosphere is great. It's the type of place you'd go for a meal and end up making your way in to the bar for a dance and a drink. There's nothing negative you can say about Grace Neills - it's a really nice spot!
