We made reservations a couple days ahead of time and were seated immediately. The restaurant is small and modern, the menu short. They also had a nice cocktail and wine menu, with a section on more interesting wines. We started with the peach fizz and strawberry fields. Both were lighter, summery cocktails. We shared the oysters, won ton soup, and the sea bass, and were too full for dessert. The oysters were local, and lovely. The wonton was actually a soup, served with shrimp crackers, really good flavor, just the right amount of spice. The fish was also cooked well, I liked the saffron potatoes as something just a bit different. Nice service, more than one staff took their time to be friendly at our table. They do accept walk ins, but it is about timing. During peek season, consider a reservation.

I would suggest to book a table if you are hoping to eat at Hadskis post 12:30pm. We were presented with the lunch menu by the attentive staff - there were 6 different choices of meal for £6.50 each but this wasn't basic fare - This was fine cuisine at an unbelievable price. I couldn't choose between what was on the menu so being a glutton I opted for 2 dished form this menu. As Hadskis specialises in seafood I went for the filling Seafood Chowder and the Sardine and caper Caesar salad. In retrospect I should have just gone for the Seafood Chowder as it was extremely filling - although IO 'm glad I got to taste both dishes. I found Hadskis the perfect dining experience - firstly the staff didn't judge me for being greedy and secondly the food was incredible. I will definitely be back.

I love the seating set up inside; they have those big high benches with stools that face out and you can sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a coffee, bit of fruit or a hearty stew.
